Zenez and Aku and Aku walked up the steps of the building till they got to the roof
Oska was standing there waiting for them
Zenez: Just remember what this guy can do
Aku: I didn't forget
They ran at Oska
"Seiji POV"
Seiji walked around the city trying to find Nagaki
Dead bodies littered the streets
Seiji: Jesus
Nagaki: I figured you'd be here
Seiji quickly turned around and faced Nagaki
Nagaki: if we don't finish this here I don't think we ever will
Seiji: agreed
They pointed their blades at each other and rushed
Nagaki pulled his blade and swung down
Seiji jumped to the side and swung his blade but Nagaki ducked and tried to stab him
Seiji quickly blocked and kicked Nagaki in the face
Nagaki stumbled back and Seiji took this time to slash at his chest
He barely cut into Nagaki before he blocked
Blood was dripping down from Nagaki's chest
Nagaki pushed Seiji back and slashed
Seiji blocked and punched Nagaki in the chest
Nagaki grabbed his fist and head butted him causing his blade to fly back
Nagaki tried to slash at Seiji but he grabbed the sword
His palms were dripping blood and he threw the sword away
As he turned to face Nagaki he got punched in the face
Nagaki grabbed his sword and tried to stab Seiji but Seiji roles to the side, grabbed Nagaki's sword and threw it
Nagaki: JUST ACCEPT DEATH
Seiji: NO
Seiji kicked Nagaki and they both backed up
They looked at each other then at the sword in the middle of both of them
They both ran to the sword but Seiji got it first
Nagaki: NO-
Seiji chopped off Nagaki's head
Seiji fell to the ground and sat down for a second and just took deep breaths
Seiji: I wish I could've done something for you my friend
"Sora POV"
As the hunters were getting smacked around Xav pulled out a grenade and threw it at the creature
It slashed it's blade at the grenade and the grenade exploded destroying the sword and sending the creature back a few feet
Xav: EXPLOSIVES ARE EFFECTIVE
The creature blinded by rage started smashing houses and eventually broke the foundations of the building Zenez, Aku and Oska were on
"Zenez POV"
Zenez and Aku we're getting pummeled by Oska before the building started falling
Before Zenez fell off he grabbed the edge of the building
The blade flew from Zenez's pocket and fell to the ground
Zenez: shit
Oska was sliding down the building chasing them
Zenez grabbed Aku before he flew off the building to his death
He swung off Zenez to get into the building and ran to the other side so he could run up the building and Zenez did the same
Oska realized what they were doing and ran to the other side
Zenez and Aku charged threw the office building dodging desks, moniters and staplers among other things until they got to the other side
As they ran up the building Oska jumped down to fight them
Aku punched Oska in the face sending him back
Oska quickly regained himself but they all lost balance because the monster punched the building once again
Zenez got up and charged Oska sending him flying off the building
The monster looked up and roared
Oska fell into the monsters mouth and was swallowed whole
Zenez and Aku were flying through the air
Aku: WHAT DO WE DO
Out of nowhere Cybernex came flying and grabbed them and landed on the ground safely
Zenez: thanks
The monster was still alive and it pushed the debris off of itself
It was hurt bad
The creature was stumbling around and it was bleeding pretty bad
Xav was picked up by the leg
He looked back and yelled
Xav: DONT WORRY ABOUT ME JUST END THE THING
Sora: what do we do now?
From the distance they heard the word
?: FIRE
Rockets flung towards the creature blowing chunks of its body off
?: AGAIN
More rockets flung at the creature
?: ONE MORE TIME
More rockets hit the creature
It was finally dead
The group looked back to see Ku and 30 other hunters Including Seiji walking towards them
When they reached them Ku asked
Ku: are you guys alright?
Zenez: yeah but Xav...
Ku: he sacrificed himself so more could live
Out of the corner of his eye Zenez saw Kogu crawling away trying to escape
Zenez: where the FUCK DO YOU THINK YOUR GOING KOGU
Everyone looked at him as he sprint walked to Kogu
He took a sledgehammer out of a hunters hand
He walked over and kicked Kogu so he'd be laying on his back
Zenez: do you know how much fucking suffering you caused?
Kogu: fuck... you
Zenez: you had no right to do what you did even if humans stole your dumb fucking land
Kogu: I do not regret anything Zenez
Zenez: then I guess there's no point in leaving you alive
Kogu: do it
Zenez brought the sledgehammer down on Kogu's face
His head looked it had been shot with a shotgun
Zenez: rest in piss you fucking asshole
"Aku POV"
Aku was looking around seeing everyone hug their loved ones and crying
He heard a voice
Magi: oh my god Aku
Magi had tears in her eyes and she ran to Aku and hugged him
Aku hugged her back
Aku: I'm alright there's no need to worry
Magi: how could I not worry I thought you were dead
Aku: I made a promise that I was gonna come back and I kept it didn't I
Magi: yeah, you were always good with promises
Aku got down on one knee
Magi: what are you doing you big dummy?
Aku: I'm not really sure what to say here so I guess I'll just say... will you marry me?
Magi backed up for a second in shocked silence
Magi: YES
"Zenez POV"
It was dark out now
Firefighters were putting out fires and hunters were helping people out of houses and bunkers
Zenez was on a roof just watching everything
Sora: there you are
Sora sat down next to him
As Zenez and Sora sit on a rooftop they talked about the events of the day
Zenez: we lost a lot of people
Sora: Ko, Bruno, Pierson, Unji, Xav and thousands of other hunters gone in a single day
Zenez: yeah... listen Sora I think it's better if we all disband and don't talk to each other for at least a few decades
Sora felt a sinking feeling in her heart
Sora: r...right
She started to silently sob
Zenez: I didn't know you cared about them like that
Sora: it's not them *sniffle* it's us
Zenez: uhm... Sora I meant we stop talking to them for a while. Wow your really gonna make me say this huh
Sora wiped the tears from her eyes and said
Sora: say what?
Zenez grabbed her hand took a deep breath and said
Zenez: I love you Sora and I wanna spend the rest of my life with you
Sora couldn't hold back the tears
She buried her head in his chest and said
Sora: I...I love you too
Zenez held her close and kissed her on the lips
"20 years later"
As Yara hit a home run Zenez shouted
Zenez: CMON SWEETIE YOU GOT THIS
Yara won the game with a home run and the croud went wild
Everyone was cheering and super happy
Yara had just won the championship
Zenez went out and hugged her tight
With a huge smile on his face he said
Zenez: I'm so proud of you sweetie
Yara: thanks dad
Sora joined in on the hug and said
Sora: cmon let's go get some ice cream to celebrate
Yara: Really?
Sora: yup cmon let's go
After they got their ice cream they headed home for the day
On the way home Zenez looked sad
Yara: is everything ok dad?
Zenez: yeah sweetie I'm alright
Sora: we can make a detour and you can visit him
Zenez: thanks, let's do that
Zenez made his way to the cemetery
When he got there he took a few deep breaths
Sora: you got this I know you do
Zenez smiled, kissed Sora and got out of the car
He made his way into the cemetery and tried to approach his grave but he couldn't
Zenez: I'll work my way up to it
When the hunters bravely sacrificed their lives to save the whole world hundreds of thousands of cemeteries were made to honor the people who lost their lives
He looked at Unji's grave
Zenez: Your a good boy bud. You were my emotional support and I miss you a lot. I hope your with Pierson right now
He placed a rose down and walked to Ko's grave
On his way saw a man crouched down giving his respects
The voice seemed familiar
They both looked at each other
Zenez: Ku
Ku: Zenez
Zenez: it's um... it's been a while
Ku: yeah... how you been?
Zenez: great actually... since I disbanded the AHA I've been lucky enough to raise my daughter Yara and get married to Sora
Ku: that's great man
he smiled and stood up
Zenez saw a ring on his finger
Zenez: who's the lucky lady
Ku smiled and said
Ku: Aika
Zenez: can't say I expected that
Ku: Yeah... when Ko passed she was always there for me so we naturally got together
Zenez: that's great
Ku: we have a son by the way, His name is Ikeade
(Ick ee day)
Zenez: that's awesome man I'm happy for you
They both smiled
Ku: I'm guessing your here to visit...
Zenez: uhm... yeah... just... working my way up to it
Ku: if you wanted to you can pay respect to Ko
Zenez: yeah... I was gonna do that
Ku: right
Zenez crouched and down and said
Zenez: Ko... I have nothing but respect for you. Hearing that you died was shocking. And the way it happened was even worse. I hope you were able to find peace. I miss you old friend
Zenez stood up and looked at Ku
Ku: thank you
There was a long pause
Ku: how long has it been... since you killed
Zenez: oh uhm...
Ku: s-sorry bad time
Zenez: no no no... it's alright
There was another pause
Zenez: I haven't killed since Kogu
Ku: 20 years huh
Zenez: yup speaking of that I haven't fought anyone since then. If there's an altercation I use my words to defuse the situation. And you?
Ku: 20 years just like you. But I think Seiji is tying up some loose ends
Zenez: what makes you say that?
Ku: slash marks on past enemies and warehouses filled with corpses
Zenez: that sounds like him
Ku: I hope he's done after this he deserves a break
Sora: wow
Zenez and Ku looked at Sora
Ku: Sora?
Sora: hi Ku. How've you been?
Ku: great. I'm married and I have a son named Ikeade
Sora: who is she?
Ku: Aika... hey, you don't hate her right?
Sora chuckled
Sora: of course not that was stupid teen stuff anyway
Ku: great... I'd invite you 2 and your daughter to dinner sometime but we probably shouldn't be talking in the first place
Zenez: I think it's been long enough
He smiled
Ku: great. I'll send you the address
Zenez: awesome
Sora: I'm gonna head back to the car
Zenez: ok
Ku: I need to go aswell
Zenez: yeah I should too
Ku: aren't you forgetting something?
Zenez looked at Piersons grave
Zenez: yeah
Ku: just do it man you've got this
Zenez: yeah
Ku left and Zenez slowly inched his way to Piersons grave
He took a deep breath and crouched down
Zenez: uhm... hey dad
He took another deep breathe
Zenez: listen, I know that we didn't get along much up until near the end but I miss you a lot and it took a lot for me to do this and... look your a hero dad, there's no way around it. You saved billions of people at the cost of yourself. And I just want you to know that I forgive you... and I love you. I uhm... I took your advice and now me and Sora are together. We have a 16 year old daughter named Yara and she's amazing. You'd love her. I really wish you were here right now but... you aren't. Goodbye dad
He went back to the car
Sora: how'd it go?
Zenez: I think I did alright
Yara: you seem fine
Zenez: well let's head home, I'm tired
Sora: that's a good idea
Zenez started the car and drove home
