- This is my favorite book.

- This manuscript was MASSIVE in its original draft. I think somewhere around 180k. In the end, it got shaved down to about 120k, and I don't write fluff.

- This main character only has ONE book but she appears in almost all other books in the series, including "We Can Go Back," and the "When I See You" trilogies.

- She's my favorite main character.

- I based her worst qualities off someone I knew who I wasn't on speaking terms with. In fact, this book, and making this main character, was my way of trying to process some forgiveness for that person. I think I achieved that.

- I was in a really dark place emotionally when I started this story. I came out the other end healed. So it holds a special place in my heart.

- The story was the introduction of Gara who eventually went on to get her own trilogy.

- The main character is supposed to be hard to love. I know that's not popular in writing but it was necessary for me in the making of this book.

- Tanner's character was the hardest to write because of how delicate his situation is.

- I actually wrote several short stories of this couple but...their edits never came up. And they definitely need edits to see the light of day. Ha! I might make an anthology book for the series and include then there.

- Queen is my second favorite character. His story (and real name) starts in "The Nobleman's Masterpiece" formerly known as "The Difference" and ends in WE CAN GO BACK's second book, FORWARD BY ANY MEANS. All of these books are complete and sitting on my hard drive.
