My eyes met with the shortest of the maids that were watching us while I was still flying in my happy mom's arms.

Alice's big blue curious eyes were fixated on me as I got closer.

When the situation became that gloomy only one stood as a beacon of light.

The little snow white-haired maid that can't be more than four years old walked to Alice.

"Lady Alice..."

"Please don't cry"

"I'll promise you. Each birthday after this one will always be better"

"So please don't do that ugly cry, we can't see your cute face behind those walls of tears can we?"

"So smile and forget all your worries because I'll be here for you"

Alice's crying gradually stopped as she listened and her big blue eyes stopped letting tears out.

"Lady Irina"

"Yes!"

"Can I hold her?"

"Mmm... Okay"

Irina handed Alice to her.

"Please be careful Lorelei-Chan"

"Alice is very fragile"

"No worries ma'am"

"I'm just gonna calm her down completely"

Lorelei started humming a melody that made everyone muscles relax even if they can't hear it.

Their fatigue and stress washed away with each tune she hummed.

By the end of it all, everybody felt that they were just born once more. Filled with energy and ready to take on whatever the world throws at them. Alice on the other hand just murmured something quite recognizable while in Lorelei's embrace and facing Lorelei's pristine face. Complete with Alice signature innocent smile.

"Ma-ma~" 

Giving a sudden attack to everyone's heart including Lorelei's as her eyes widened.

Everybody in the room celebrated in their heart for their little angel has finally blessed this world with her first words.
