On your Patreon do you have this novel? Or is it just “new” ones?
patreon only has new novels, this novel is on webnovel
@shadowknight2996 i dont give a damn if you think its not worth your money to spend on what i write, can you f*ck off somewhere else? i dont really find the reason why you have to shove it on my face like i owe you money or something, you've been consuming free entertainment for hundreds or thousands of hours through your life yet you always think its not worth paying for it when those producing it spend so much time and effort? you're pretty ret*rded, NGL
@PancakesWitch Ah thanks for being nice and professional, also yes I do read a lot and I read most novels that are stubbed or on other paid websites and I do pay for them when it’s worth it, but when you pay OVER 200$ for one book when I could get 20 others that are equal too or have more chapters it’s not worth it even for readers that love novels.
it’s proven that WebNovel is a scam for people who actually like to read complete novels, it’s better if your skimming but after 45% of the book is read you’re just paying more then it’s worth. And I do understand when you spend soo much time writing a novel and think it’s worth 200$ especially for the amount of effort but for people who actually have lives to spend 200$ on one single novel isn’t worth it.
@shadowknight2996 look, the world doesnt revolve around you, authors shouldnt give you everything for free, and they're also free to ask as much money as they want for the products they create. stop being someone with so little common sense that you think everyone owes you everything for free because its digital. No, that you're paying for your internet doesnt mean I have to give you all my novels for free. Your complains about webnovel prices doesnt matter at all to me, and don't bother me either. You're just an entitled person that doesnt recognize the efforts of hard working authors and i couldnt give more of a damn about your opinions in anything.
Nice
Unfortunately I read fast and can’t do pay to read sites. Would cost me thousands just to keep my current stories up to date.
Good illustration.
it wouldnt cost you thousands, stop exagerating, the prices are pretty fair and it would be the equivalent of just buying a digital book per volumes, some novels have dozens of volumes but you dont complain
@PancakesWitch Fair, I’ve just never been in the habit of spending on digital stuff. Thought about it but not really ever committed. Good story though
@Mountainwalker its ok if you dont want to spend in anything, i am not forcing you. But consider how much entertainment all of this "digital stuff" brings to you first before you realize how much time it takes. All this time you spend having fun with this "digital stuff" still makes it not worth a dime? Consider the effort and hours writing that this "digital stuff" takes their authors and artists to make.
@PancakesWitch Makes sense. I’m not against the monitization of works but don’t have any inflow to actually spend. I’m stressing over my last year of college and had a hard lesson in 3-4 dollars a day adding up for my food budget.
@Mountainwalker okay that's fine, you should have simply told me you had no way to pay instead of just saying that you find all digital things worthless, even though you spend hours a day reading all these "worthless" things.
@PancakesWitch For me its the case of spending priority. Sadly entertainment (digital media) is the last priority, while building materials (yes i am building a house) are first. I dont think your story or stories in general are worthless its just to me they are not worth asmuch as most people charge for them. If you give me a epub/pdf of this novel for idk 5-10€ then maybe we are approching a point where I would concede and probably pay for it. I havent actually confirmed the exact asking price you have mainly because this site your linking isnt really revealing this info easily. (already a duh moment) Plus the reading experience on there is somehow worse than sh/rr. Also another thing to consider is that people that pirate your work probably have a better experience than those that pay for it. I dont know what you should do in your situation as your probably trying to make a living of of writing (which is very respectable) just I think for most people your not exactly making an appealing offer. No one does this so I dont know how it could be done but again 1k page equivs as an epub download on a website where you dont have to download a bs app to even see prices would probably go a long way in preventing people from just going to the next available russian website and just reading everything for free.
