Grey threw down his gun and grabbed Bai Xing's shoulders. He checked thoroughly for any injuries and soon found some on Bai Xing's arms and face.

They were the scratches and bruises Bai Xing got from rolling on the ground. Because of the mist's magic, the brief part where he rolled on the asphalt indeed resulted in wounds if someone experience such a thing.

Grey's brows furrowed. He asked through his clenched jaw, "Who did this to you?"

"I f-fell…" Bai Xing touched Grey's hand and looked away, embarrassed of his heated face, "It doesn't hurt."

Sensing the atmosphere between the 2 people, the dwarves looked at each other before silently retreating.

"Ah…" Bai Xing noticed them, "Thank you very much for your help."

The oldest shook his head, "We didn't do much. It was all you, young lad," seeing Grey's menacing expression, he awkwardly laughed, "Then, we excuse ourselves first."

Grey turned Bai Xing's head back to face him, "You know how dangerous the forest is. What were you thinking running off by yourself? What if something happened to you!?"

"…B-But, your wounds haven't healed yet. A-And it's more dangerous for you if…" Bai Xing clenched his shirt nervously and his voice gradually lose its volume.

Is Grey mad? Is it because he locked him in the cabin? But if he didn't do that, Grey would likely follow him. He still did even after he locked it. It's not like he didn't trust Grey's strength…but he couldn't let Grey enter the danger zone again, right? Moreover, Snow White was targeting him.

Seeing Bai Xing shrinking, Grey lost his temper and sighed. He carefully pulled Bai Xing into a hug, "I'm very happy that you worry about me. But I'll of course be mad if you put yourself in danger because of that. I rather you not think about me at all if that's the consequences."

"…I'm sorry." Bai Xing lowered his head.

"…" Grey raised Bai Xing's face and gently kissed his wound, "Rather than your apology, I prefer your promise to not do this kind of stunt again."

Grey pulled him down to sit and treated his injuries. Bai Xing obediently hold still, only flinching from the pain when the disinfectant touched his wound.

"Now you know injuries are painful. Regret it?"

"…" Bai Xing shook his head a little. There was a moment of silence before Bai Xing unconsciously muttered his thought, "Why are you so nice to me…?"

Grey halted his movement gauzing the scrapped skin. Bai Xing realized he said it out loud and inexplicably panicked.

Grey pushed Bai Xing down and pinned him, "Now I'm angry."

Bai Xing couldn't clearly see Grey's face as it was shadowed by the moonlight, but he could feel that Grey was indeed angered by his doubt.

"Do you think I kiss any random man I met? Do you think I lust over a man's body just because they saved my life?" Grey sucked Bai Xing's  neck fiercely, leaving a deep red mark under his ear, "I will make love to you right here right now if that's what it takes to convey my feelings for you and erase your doubt."

Bai Xing felt his phone vibrate. He looked at Grey at a loss. He was about to leave. He didn't want them to separate on bad terms. But he didn't know what to do to relieve Grey's anger.

"I thought I've made it clear before," Grey continued, "My heart trembles for you. Even without my memory, I subconsciously look for you and fell for you all over again."

"…!"

"Yes, I got it back when Snow White died," Grey swept Bai Xing's hair, "I promised that I'd find you, didn't I?"

Bai Xing wanted to say something but then saw that his legs were already disappearing. In a spur of a moment, Bai Xing raised up his upper body.

"!!"

Grey's eyes widened in surprise as their lips connected. It was the familiar softness, yet its shy fluttering as it perched on his lips gave him a whole different sensation. It left as soon as it came.

"…Will we…meet again?" Bai Xing gripped Grey's clothes anxiously. His upper body was about to disappear.

Grey held Bai Xing's hands reassuringly, "I'll make sure we will."

He kissed Bai Xing one more time before the other completely vanished.

–––

Bai Xing felt his body was swaying just as he got transferred. Opening his eyes, he found that he was sitting inside a rocking vehicle. It shaped similar to the carriage he rode with Grey previously, but without any chair and almost twice as spacious. Only cushions with the flooring fully carpeted. He couldn't see the outside view with sheers covering beyond the carved wooden windows.

Sitting with him was a man with honey-colored skin. He was wearing lavish garments laid with diamonds and gold that revealed his chest. Jewelry embellished his neck, waist, arms, and ears. His sitting posture was laid back without any regard for mannerism.

However Bai Xing looked at him, this man definitely has a very high status. Could be a royal.

Very different from him, Bai Xing was sitting with a straight posture. He wore a sleeveless black gown, which has slits on both sides of his legs, secured with a golden sash on his waist. Fortunately, he wore loose trousers of the same color inside. The only ornaments he was wearing were a pair of golden armbands on his upper arm that were mostly covered by his blood-red cloak and the cloak's fastener that was also made out of gold.

Now, the question was, what is his relationship with the man in front of him? One thing for sure, his status was below the man's. Before he knows more, it was best if he refrained from speaking…

More like, he prayed that he wouldn't need to speak. It was already awkward enough for him to stay in a closed space with a stranger.

And from the heavy amount of gold and their garments, Bai Xing has a guess what fairytale he was currently in.

A while later, Bai Xing started hearing indistinct chattering of people outside. He couldn't really catch what they were talking about all the way until the carriage stopped. Much to his surprise, the carriage seemed to lower down and touch solid ground.

He soon realized what he was riding. It wasn't a carriage. It was a palanquin.

The man stepped out and Bai Xing followed suit, maintaining a fair distance from the man.

He marveled at the surreal sight of the huge Arabian palace in front of him. Arabic architecture has its own flavor, especially its complex and intricate patterns. Not to mention, the amount of gold used as paints and decorations could easily be worth an island back on Earth. And it was just the exterior.

Looking at all the antiques, treasures, and furniture inside made Bai Xing dizzy. He should be careful not to accidentally bump into anything.

Tailing behind Bai Xing and the man were 2 lines of men carrying a box each. Their convoy was escorted by 2 palace guards and finally stopped in front of a tall door inlaid with gems.

Someone from inside announced their arrival as the door guards opened the door for them.

"Announcing, Prince Kalid from the kingdom of Nekhiru has arrived."

Once the door fully opened, Bai Xing was exposed with more gold that dazzled his eyes. They basically used patterned gold as the hall's wallpaper.

Bai Xing, "…"

Is gold their concept of white in this world…?

The king entered the hall from the opposite door of the hall. Following behind him was his personal aide along with the princess and her personal maid.

"Welcome to Agrabah, Prince of Nekhiru." The king welcomed them.

The prince glanced at Bai Xing, causing him to flinch in surprise.

"?" it took several seconds delay for Bai Xing to catch on. He hurriedly whispered, "H-His Majesty is welcoming you to Agrabah…Y-Your Highness."

The prince nodded at the king respectfully, "It is our honor to be welcomed here by Your Majesty the King himself."

Bai Xing was just about to sigh in relief when it was the king's turn to look at him. Not only the king, everyone else in the hall was focusing on him.

His body nervously tensed, but he managed to deliver the translation although he was stammering. He immediately imagined the prince as Grey the hunter and the king as Grey the king. His stammer gradually lessened, but he couldn't help but feel restless by all the attention on him.

Though from this he learned of his current identity. He was most likely this Prince of Nekhiru's translator or something along the line.

He was really itching to check his phone for M's message and explanation.

As the prince presented the gift he brought, the door opened again and entered a man dressed in a mystical robe.
