Upon solving the issue of cleanliness and manpower in Redcliffe, my next goal is create a buffer zone. 

My concern regarding the other end beyond the Korcari Walls. Treating the walls as the border would be limiting the potential of land beyond that.

No organized firce would venture into Korcari Wilds since the annihilation of Tevinter family of Olga Federation.

My concern is two immediate lands connected to us. One is Gwaren owned by the Ferelden prime minister, Count Loghain Mac Tir. As it is a territory of Ferelden, I decide to engage with him later.

My immediate issue is the border with Dioral Kingdom beside Fort Connor. The land beside Fort Connor belongs to house of Hyuutia in Dioral Kingdom. 

During the medieval age, the most effective way to persuade another party into a deal is by showing off military power.

Therefore, I organize a delegation to Hyuutia. 

The knight team consists of 100 men led by Baron Curtis Blackwell, and Baron Scott Aldiss. An archery division consists 30 men led by Baron Leonhardt Strauch and Suzy as the deputy. Militiamen consist of

1,000 men. 

Demonic disturbance actually gives us fortune as the defeated skeletons had left thousands of armours and weapons. Owen the blacksmith had improved those equipments and give them to the militiamen.

A quarter of the militiamen are commoners who had participated in previous battles. Most of the militiamen are new recruits from the refugees. They might not be skilled as they had only trained for two weeks, but I plan to build a large and professional soldiers from the plebeians to avoid conscription of peasants and fishermen that adversely affect our economy.

This campaign is their first experience.

The commander of militiamen is Ivanna and deputy is Tomas the experienced commoner. 

I bring most of my girls; Ivanna, Sekrit, Clementine, Irijina, Sylvia, Brita, Soraya, Selene, Suzy, Kurotsuchi, Mirai, Hanabi, Amber and Lyla. 

The girls and knights ride their horses. Some of it comes from Dennet Drake. I managed to persuade Dennetbto come out from retirement. However, he want to establish new base for horse division in Haven village which I agreed.

The militiamen travel on foot. 

We walked past the edge of Korcari Wilds within a day and rest at Fort Connor. The next morning, we are ready to cross past Dioral's border.

From the upper floor, I watch the commanders gradually gather together outside the city as I listen to Mirai’s report. I guess that’s natural. I can’t expect them to be ready immediately when I tell them to go. Irijina put on her pants and walks down the stairs.

"Hmm."

I turn back at the sound of the soft voice to see Clementine watching us. 

I pull her into the room. Mirai only stares.

We cross the border and not even an hour, we notice a village with fortified wooden walls being surrounded by an army.

Scott Aldiss reports,

"The village must be one  of the noble under Hyuutia. The attacking force is, base in their flag, Orlais. Their number is around 500."

Hm. As I expected, there is an invasion.

The 100 knights are also the cavalry division. I am considering whether to deploy them.

"Ivanna. Use the militiamen." I ask Ivanna who seems to be thinking about something.

"Fine." She walks to the men.

"Charge!"

The Orlais who is breaking the wooden fences are puzzled when suddenly a horde of men march towards them.

The attacking side has the slight upper hand in terms of military strength, but the defensive encampments dotted around the area erases that advantage.

Our archers loose their arrows, but none of them seem to have much impact.

"Just try to keep the casualties to a minimum while sporadically targeting the places with fewer people!" 

Ivanna, Irijina, Clementine, Sekrit, Sylvia and Brita at the front and already engaging the enemies. The cavalry are behind them while the infantry is in their way. 

Curtis Blackwell and Scott Aldiss also there. 

Even before the militiamen reach there, the enemies are being thinned out by the skillful fighters. 

100 persons are beating over 500 men. 

At the same time, the enemies see a thousand of men charging towards them on foot. 

Thus, they are becoming panic. 

"Surround them. Don't let them get away!"

The knights gobtonther side and block their escape route while the already dwindled enemies are being overwhelmed by the militia. Meanwhile, the girls are cutting the panic enemies in the middle.

Within less than an hour, there is no one standing except Redcliffe who suffers no casualty.

"I am Baron London. We are grateful for your help but may I know who are you? I haven't seen this red flag before." 

From my horse, I look at him without answering.

Sylvia unmounts and shakes his hand.

She points at me.

"We happen to come here and find some in dire need. We are Red Army from the new country established at Hinterland. Hezri Kingdom. This man is our King, Hiro Hezri."

"New country? Isn't Hinterland in Redcliffe?" Baron London asks in confusion.

Sylvia replies, "Redcliffe is now in the new kingdom. Lord of Redcliffe had joined us."

"It.. it's shocking." He says.

"We see Orlais is invading you. We thought giving help. Care to explain what happened?"

Then, he seems have returned to reality,

"Oh, yes. The Orlais invaded us since two months ago. Now, we are crumbling. I am worried about Lord Hyuutia."

This is my chance.

"We can help. But I hope that you can return the favour."

"That's...I am not in position to represent us. But if we could speak to Count Hyuutia.."

"Fine. Where is him?"
