Glen enters the room at the entrance of the prison area with his templars armour and weapons intact. There are two wooden tables in here. Three of his comrades are playing poker card game at one of the table and laughing merrily.

Glen is familiar with this area as he guard this place several times.

"Hey, Glen. Let's play card!"

"No. Thanks. You guys should not be playing around at a time like this. What if suddenly invaders steal the key to the prison?"

"Aaa, idiot. You overthink.'

"Yes, dude. You can check in the safe room. The key should still be there!"

They continue playing and laughing. Glen walks into the room. 

As he is used to the key arrangement, he immediately finds the master key. After turning his sight to the men outside, he takes the key and insert into his pocket.

He stride carefully so they key will not make any sound. 

"Haha."

The men are still laughing.

"Are the new prisoners still in there. Don't let your guard down."

"Idiot. You worry too much. Just go there and check!"

Hearing that, Glen walks into the corridor with prison cells at both sides. After closing the door, he walks along the corridor until he reaches the middle.

Two girls are waiting at the door as if waiting for him.

Glen looks at the entrance into corridor. When he is confident that no one is coming in, he quickly checks the key one by one. He then insert the key into the door.

The door is unlocked.

"You made it, Soraya." Lyla walks while pulling the heavy ball. 

"Unlock her chain." Glen follows her command without question. 

After the chain is unlocked, the newly unchained girl asks,

",I need big sword. At least my sword." 

Glen earnestly  answers, 

"Don't worry. Your weapon is just left at the safe room."

The three of them stride until exiting the corridor and they meet the three men.

The three guards are open mouthed.

Soraya comes forward and gaze the men with her eyes.

"What can we do for you?"

Suddenly, the men's attitude change drastically. He becomes very polite towards Soraya.

Meanwhile, Lyla retrieves her considerably large sword from the safe room.

"Let's go, guys!"

The three men as if fully hypnotized, stand up and follow the girls with Glen leading them.

"Protect us!" 

Without wasting time, they walk quickly. Their aim is saving Nina.

The four templars follow.

"They bring the girl to the torture room."

"Lead us there."

They stride towards the main corridor and finally meet a large door.

"It's behind this torture room."

They just approach the door and slowly open it.

"Order to return?" Farnese yells on the sitting old man in priest outfit. His luxurious attire doesn't suit a pious cleric but he is the head of Albion Tower, Paul Tarsus. Rowan and her are standing before him. 

"Why, on such short notice?" She yells again.

Being yelled like that, he speaks hesitatingly,

"It's a direct command from the Pope himself. It is reported that since the heretics have been sufficiently quelled, your task is completed. We thank you for your excellent service to the God."

As the pope is mentioned, she calms down and argues in polite tone,

"But their remnants may still be hiding. More importantly, the people are still suffering. Investigation and punishment may take some time to conclude. In the meantime, what will you do about the security?"

Paul stands up and walks to the window. He looks at below towards the refugees settlement viewable from here.

"You need not to worry about that. The directive is not issued to templars. The order to return is issued from the pipe himself to you alone, Lady Farnese."

"What? Why? I am the holy commander of the templars. I cannot abandon my duty. I don't accept this!!" She speaks hysterically and hammers the table with her hands.

Without looking at the agitated girl, Paul continues, 

"About your current mission, having your vice commander Azan lead in your stead should not be a problem." 

"I cannot accept this!"

Paul turns back towards her,

"Lady Farnese. It appears that this directive comes, in part, at the wish of your own father, Lord Vandimion."

Hearing that, she becomes dumbstruck.

"You must understand although this is a holy mission, your father don't wish you, as a noble lady, to be in such gruesome place for a long time."

"But, I am not .."

Before she could continue, Paul interjects,

"Your family have been funding almost half of the finance of the church and templars. We do not wish for something bad happen to his only daughter."

Biting her lips angrily, she walks out if the room followed by Rowan.

Walking along the corridor towards downstairs but before the staircase, she turns back and slaps Rowan.

"Did you tell all those to my father?" 

"I know it all along. You have been reporting all my actions to my family!"

Rowan remains tight-lipped.

Farnese walks away from him. They exit the corridor and are about to descend the spiral staircase when three persons are climbing the stairs.

"Ergg." A girl shrieks as she is being pulled by a rope. A short masked man is leading and a tall masked man behind the girl. 

They know the two are Cardinal Mozgus's henchmen but she recognizes the girl right away.

The short man laments, "I have never met anyone as pathetic as you, woman. You blabbed everything before I could remove even a single fingernail. Having sold your friend, enjoy your final night being alive."

"I am sorry. Please don't kill me!" The girl pleads while sobbing.

"Is that the girl from the heretic's lair?" Farnese mutters to her bodyguard.

"It seems so. They captured her, huh?" Rowan replies.

Farnese and Rowan enter the torture chamber immediately after the door.

She hates this place but she never expresses it.

A large man walks to her.

"Well done, Lady Farnese. It is not an exaggeration to say that all heretics have been captured. Your reputation as holy commander of templars is fully deserved."

"No. It's all because of God's grace." She plays down Mozgus's praise.

"However, your report states that you witness anomalies while in the cave."

"The cave is full of arcane drugs and incense that heretics used in their rituals. I believe those might triggered mass hallucinations that caused them to be violent."

Mozgus walks to door that Farnese previously entered and descends further downstairs followed by both of them and another two Mozgus's henchmen.

"I read another matter in your report. About a pig faced man, a witch who fired magical arrows and a broadsword wielding woman."

She realizes something as the binded refugee girl she saw just now was with the witch and the sword woman. 

"Then, the girl just now.."

"As you thought, my lady. We have captured the culprits. Just now, I ask the templars to bring the other two to torture chamber."

They enter the praying chamber.

"Before I deliver the God's punishment on them, I must pray in my special place as usual."

The two henchmen step aside and Mozgus kneels down.

Out of the blue, a silhouette dashes from the door.

She is the sword woman who have defeated the orc. She cut Mozgus's back.

"Aaaaaaarghhh!!"

"Where is Nina?" She asks.

They then realize the witch is just outside the door. The weird thing is there over a dozen of templars behind her.

"Men. Capture her!" Farnese orders but they ignore her.

"I have used my eyes to twenty men in my exhausted state. Lyla, I can't do anything on that girl."

"It's fine, Soraya. I just use my blade."

Farnese now knows their name. The female sword wielder is Lyla and the witch is Soraya while the refugee girl is Nina.

Lyla pushes Farnese onto the wall, grabs her arm and place a dagger on her neck.

"Where is the refugee, Nina?"

"She is being brought to two upper level through that staircase."

She just answers honestly which shocks the two girls.

Suddenly, there is a sound of something broken from above.

Everybody stares at the opening above.

Their eyes go wide.

A male looking creature descends from the air. He is floating with wings like birds. 

He is naked and almost looks like human male except the grey skin colour, long ears and bald head with horns. He has human face but fangs come out from his mouth.

"That's the monster we saw in the cave. Be careful. If he bite you, you becomes monsters like the refugees in the cave!" Soraya shouts.

The creature lands at Mozgus and bite him.

"Angel!!" Mozgus shouts. 

Commotion occurs at the staircase as two henchmen push aside the blocking knights.

"Nina!" 

They heard the commotion downstairs and bring Nina here.

"Master!" 

Soraya unbinds Nina.

"That's the creature that bit everybody in the cave!"

This time even Nina shouts.

It seems the creature is sucking blood from Mozgus's body but he gives cue to his henchmen not to attack the creature.

"Don't worry. This is an angle sent from God to give us salvation."

The creature then jumps at nearby henchman and does the same to him.

"Don't oppose him. Let him give us salvation. He is an angel."

The creature sucks the blood from Mizgus and his four henchmen. 

As if satisfied with his full, the creature flies to the opening and escapes.

Mozgus stands up and laughs. 

The four men also laughs. 

"Escape from here!" Rowan lifts up Farnese and runs away. Lyla and the rest also run away after closing the door and putting heavy statue blocking the door. The monsters must not be let out.
