1 Week Earlier in Sooka Hidden Village

"Please Have a sit."

We sit on chairs that seems to be made off rock. 

"Pleased to meet you, Tie-breaker'-sama. I am Sarutobi Hinata, mother of this child." The black haired beauty with weird pupil bow to me.

Kurotsuchi says her mother is in her late forties but from I what see, she has look of early twenties.

I activate Status Reader:

"Nama: Sarutobi Hinata, Age: 49, Height: 165cm, Vocation: Clairvoyant Kunoichi.

Strength:11. Speed: 11. Agiliy: 11. Stamina: 8. Durability: 9. Reflex: 9. MP: 30. MA: 25. 

Ability; Clairvoyance. Hypnosis. Confusion. Illusion. See Through Eyes. Blizzard."

I am so shocked that I falls from the chair. What a crazy, the most mind-blowing magical status I ever meet in this universe. Since I came into this hidden village, I had seen 7 men whose physical attributes are better than the likes of Clementine, Sekrit and Ivanna but Hinata's magical attributes are over the chart. And it seem she also shows some combat ability.

Her long black hair is, as men would call it, grizzled. Her tight clothing reveals her alluring body.

The way she behaves reminds me of the wife of a high ranking noble, a liberal tone yet filled with majesty.

Hinata chuckles with fingers covering her mouth. That makes me embarrassed as she seems someone who could read minds.

"Please take of my lovely daughter. She would make wonderful wife, mistress or fighter." She says in serious tone.

I gape to both of them.

"Thank you, mother. Hiro-sama, please take care of me forever." Kurotsuchi bows to the gawking me.

Hinata seems to be enjoying her daughter's devoting action and my awkward response.

After a while, Hinata claps her hand and say,

"All right, let's go to our main business."

Well, this is stark contrast from her earlier creepy bearing.

"Please spare about the tie breaker things." I plead.

She looks annoyed at first, closes her eyes and looks at her daughter.

"You handle it then, you will be with forever."

In response to Hinata’s request, Kurotsuchi raises her thumb playfully.

"As you are going out hunting orcs. I need to warn you."

I listen to her earnestly.

"Even I am unable to find their exact whereabout but they are going further from Sooka as we speaks. The ones you killed are not the leaders."

Is that good news or bad news?

"The no. 1 leader appears to think like man. Several of its followers are extremely hard to beat."

That seems like pain in the ass. 

"They did capture some women and defiled them. From that, they actually over a dozen of yet to be adult orcs. They bring them, hide them from harm so that when they become adult in months to come, they got the strength in number to attack human places."

That's very worrying.

"You will travel to search for them but you won't find them easily. Once you find them, don't be deceived. They will not come to you yet with entire orcs."

I guess for now that's good news.

"If you fight them and cannot overcome them, don't hesitate to escape. Always be prepared to escape. I believe that girl Mirai has a group teleporting skill. Only two in our village possess it."

I look at Kurotsuchi and she nods.

"Escape further from Sooka. Go west. You will find human towns further ahead. New people. New destiny."

I close my eyes. I am pondering how to implement her direction.

"Lightning!" A sword shaped electricity comes out of thin air and strike an orc on the right. The observing orc turn it's attention to right area of the campfire. Hiro takes the chance to quickly pack up the sleeping bags and scattered items, putting them properly in the bag. He even arrange the bags snappily so that the girls could just come and pick the bag effortlessly. He arranges everything while constantly glancing towards the the orc in the middle.

Suddenly, that orc turns back at him. It roars briefly and strides towards him. Halfway before him, its becomes unbudgeable. Not only legs, its hands are immovable as if boats moored to the pierside. 

"Single... Shadow binding." Mirai is standing with a hand sign. 

"This orcs are the main fighters. They were the one annihilated Sooka town!" Ivanna yells while exchanging blows with the muscular orc. 

He inhales a lot of air and bellows,

"Girls, I have prepared your bags. Escape to the left !!"

The orc group has only nine members but only an orc is killed. Their gazes carry flashes of fury and lust, but mostly they are filled with a terrifying hunger. The eyes of an animal, of brainless beast, would have been better. At least wild creature doesn't stare with such malice and greed. 

Mirai forgets about covering Clementine as Hiro is being targeted by the intelligent orc. 

The orc that was hit by electricity raises again. Sylvia who has clenched her teeth and let out a low groan. 

"Escape now as planned!" Hiro shouts again.

Sylvia does something altogether unexpected. She forces her way to the orc that was burnt by her lightning before. 

"Hraah. Haaaaa!" 

Howling like a wild animal, Sylvia takes advantage of her pace to stab its left hand with a knife. It tries to lift a club but she knocks the club from its hand.

"Orc. Orc..Pig."

She straddles it, lashing out with her fists. Each time she hollered and struck out, fresh bruises appear on her pale skin, but she pay them no mind. 

"Aaghaaa. Die, you piece of shit!" 

A nose broke, eyes socket shattered. Teeth bent. A chin is struck.

"Gooor!"

Even orcs are not apt to miss a disturbance of this magnitude. The other creature nearby, who are chasing after agile Clementine, raise a cry. They go after Sylvia.

Clementine jumps high and shoot herself like a bullet towards an orc that is after Sylvia. Her blade pierce through its meat, deep into its head. The orc comes rolling back, convulsing, not comprehending what has happened to it. Clementine leaps at it immediately.

She gives the dirk a twist, severing the spinal cord. Third orc is down. 

Sylvia is still blindly beating another dead orc. The creature's hideous, uneven teeth broke the skin on her first, but she hardly notices. In only seconds, both her hands are covered in blood.

"Stop. Please stop!" Mirai begs, approaching Sylvia while her left fingers still maintain the sign to bind the orc leader. 

"This isn't the time to- ouch." One of the flailing arm shoves her backward and she lands on her behind.

Meanwhile, Clementine cut deeps on another orc's legs to halt it's advance and grab Sylvia's shoulder to stop her.

"Damn it, stop it you crazy bitch!" Clementine says, tearing Sylvia off the corpse. She grabs the girl by shoulder and pulls, throwing her body weight into it. She might have look delicate, but such is the gap in strength between a former general and a merely above average fighter, and she manages to dislodge the warrior. 

"Crazy bitch, don't you understand our plan?"

Sylvia, now sprawls on the ground, regarded Clementine with dark eyes, "I have to kill the orcs "

It is no use, trying to convince her otherwise. Clementine purses her lips, making her displeasure plain. Her eyes stare in annoyance amidst her disheveled hair. 

"That's why I hate her."

"At least she killed two orcs single handedly." Hiro interjects from far.

"It's better to have her with us than to leave her alone, causing trouble unaccounted for." Mirai explains.

Clementine raises her eyebrow. "What if she gets us caught up in something else, something even worse " she put her hands on her hips and glares at Sylvia. Her anger at the girl, who is still standing there with her hands still covered in gore as though none of this concerns her, seems to be welling up again. She grabs Sylvia who stands, staring into space but find a male hand stopping her.

"But she said she'd come with you, and now look." She says petulantly, pointing at Sylvia. He takes Clementine's and Sylvia's hand and brings them to the campfire. Mirai follows 

"Put in your bags." He instructs. They adhere.

"Girls!"

Hearing the call, Sekrit, Ivanna and Kurotsuchi, run to the campfire.

"What takes you so long?" Sekrit complains.

Ivanna who is aware of what happened on the other side, stares at Sylvia. The orcs start going to them. Mirai releases her shadow binding. 

They run to the slope on their left.

Only Hiro remains stand by at the campfire, while his stare meets with the striding orc leader. 

"Hiro!!!"

"Hiro-sama!"

The girls who are already over 200 meters ahead, call him from afar.

Ignoring the girls' plea, he is just staring at the intelligent monster's eyes that hint,

"I will hunt you to the end of earth."

Hiro uses a club taken from a dead orc, to plummet the campfire. 

The burnt woods, flame and smoke spread throughout the area before him. He throw the club like a javelin to enemy behind the smoke.

Then, he dash as fast as he could towards the girls.

"Arrrrgg!!" The orcs roar furiously.

An orc falls squarely into fire. There is a puff of smoke and ash, as it could be heard shrieking. It is alive but its body is roasted. It rolls on the ground, trying desperately to beat out the flame, but orcs around it merely chuckle to themselves. It rolls, crashing to other advancing orcs. Looking at the chaotic orcs, the orc leader roars. 

The intelligent monster would never have imagined that the humans might have escaped the melee using the smoke screen from the campfire for cover.
