"Go to the cliff over there!" Mirai points to an escarpment beyond the plain. The land is slightly elevated from the plain, but it is better than nothing.

We run from the horde of zombies which are just less than 100 meters from us, towards the escarpment.

We finally arrive at below the escarpment. I try to climb the cliff which is just about 1.7cm in height but to no avail due to the cliff's extreme steepness.

"Damn. It's too steep." I kick the steep in anger.

"Mirai." Kurotsuchi turns to Mirai, seems expecting her to do something. The horde of zombies is closing in,  50 meters from us.

"Everyone. Stand near each other. Close in a circle."

Having exhausted of other option, we follow Mirai's instruction, standing close in circle, holding to each other's hand.

The horde is now 30 meters from us.

"Whatever you want to do, do it quick!" Clementine shouts. The girls are all freaked up except Mirai and Kurotsuchi.

"Teleportation."

When the zombies are within arm's length from us, suddenly our view become white.

In the blink of an eye, we are already on top of the escarpment. The zombies are below us. 

"Did you guys forget, Mirai can teleport?" Kurotsuchi says that and draws her kodachi. 

The zombies detecting us on the escarpment, go to the cliff. The brain dead zombies don't even try to climb.

The cliff is just about 1.7cm in height, so their hands try to reach us.

The escarpment is narrow at around square meters. It is also like an island, not connected to other land, but is surrounded by the plain filled with zombies.

Kurotsuchi goes to the border of the cliff with kodachi in both hands.

"What are you doing?" Ivanna asks, furrows her straight eyebrows.

"Listen. We could only escape from this encirclement, by killing the these ghouls. Now is the best chance. They can't reach us but we can easily stab their heads." Kurotsuchi elucidates before slightly squating and stabbing the heads that are mostly above the height of the cliff.

Sekrit, Clementine, Sylvia and Mirai also draws their weapons and squat at the border of the cliff.

I also walk to the cliff but my arm is pulled by Ivanna.

"For someone who is not trained in martial skills, you may fall into the ghouls. Step back." Ivanna warns in strict tone before also attacking the zombies.

I observe. There are thousands of zombies. The question is how much we could reduce their numbers before we run out of energy. I painstakingly count the number of zombies killed by the girls.

3 hours past. 978 zombies has been killed. There are still thousands left. Mirai and Sylvia are exhausted, sitting on the floor. 

For the other four girls, their hand movements become sluggish due to exhaustion. 

"Girls. Rest. There's nothing we can do now."

Hearing my command, they lie down on the area which is out of reach of the zombies' hands. 

Suddenly, a silhouette could be seen in the air. The figure is floating above the zombies. 

I subconsciously stand up. The figure slowly flies  until it reaches above us.

Is is actually a woman.

She lands in front of me.

She is a beauty, with snow white skin, long blond greenish hair in a ponytail. The size of her bust, size and waist are about the same as Clementine. 

But the most striking feature is her ears, which are leaf shaped. Her ears are pointing upward and backward. 

"E... Elffff!" The girls immediately stand up and shout which seems to annoy the elven girl.

"Elf? Is elf human that can live thousands of years and good in archery." I state what I understand about elf.

"What are you talking about? Elf's lifespan is about the same as us. They are not good in bows but in magic." Kurotsuchi explains.

Sekrit continues, 

"Only female is born from elf. Like orcs that are only male. Orc population increase because orc kidnap and rape human women. But elf don't go around and kidnap men, so elves becomes extinct."

The elven girl looks annoyed and yells,

"Enough. I am asked to come and help you."

Then, she takes out something like shell and chants something.

Suddenly, a door appears on the shell.

"This will bring you directly into our place."

She enters the door. I follow her without hesitation because she is a beauty. Then, other girls follow.

That's how we are saved from the zombies.
