Sekrit finally understand the pattern of the ghoul's movement. Rather than attacking it, she starts to retreat and dodge, making the ghoul restless. She merely feints to attack but never actually attack. 

Near her fight, Clementine is having all out gung-ho clash with a ghoul. They have been exchanging attacks for a long time, she slashes and pierce, but her opponent either blocks if  she attacks its upper body, in return, she blocks its attack with her gauntlet. The two retreat to create distance between them after latest clash. Not even seconds afterwards, it lumbers towards Clementine at an unbelievable speed, but when it is but an arm's length from her, she plunges her dirk into its bare chest, and pulls it skyward. The blade continues upward, cutting through its neck and face until it burst through the very top of its skull. It falls to the ground and is no more.

Sekrit's foe is increasingly restless as its onslaughts keep hitting air. It rushes at Sekrit, her clawed fingers sways clumsily about, but she just stands still. 

The ghoul has long reach with a long claw. It makes horizontal a strike  at her stomach, but she barely moves until it nearly reaches her left arm. Before the claw is about to touch her, her upper body nimbly bends backward, causing the claw to hit air. Her armpits are open and fully spreads while her large breasts going forward. Before her head hit the ground, her hands land on the ground with her palms rotate 45 degree outward. Her posture now is like the letter 'U' but in an upside down position. Her head is hanging with her palms and foots firmly on the ground. Her feets are now in front of the ghoul's feet. 

She then steps her left foot up with her knee bent. That left feet barely passes the ghoul's face, which it attempts to bite but she kicks her right leg upward, hitting its chin. 

Its chin is badly broken but it doesn't feel any pain. That leg that broke the ghoul's chin is pulled away, heeling off the ghoul. After the successful backend kickover, that leg is pulled to the ground, then the other one follows. With both hands are still firmly on the ground, her both foots step on the ground. 

Subsequently, her hands leave the ground and her back straightens up until she stands normally facing the ghoul. 

She then pierces her sword into its head, which explodes in a cloud if brittle skin and bone. That ghoul, too, falls and is no more.

Meanwhile, Ivanna is in a defensive battle against the aggressive foe. Splendidly, she is never forced back and continuously parries attacks but after a while the ghoul's onslaught becomes stronger. The last attack makes her losing balance. Ivanna has not recovered from that when the creature seizes her arm forces her  weapons from it. 

She pulls free before it could get its teeth on her, and takes the crane position, which she considers suitable for an opponent of such height. 

The creature advances and Ivanna lands a devastating chop across its thighs. 

The limbs break off, as and the ghoul falls to the grounds, helpless. 

She retrieves her rapier and beheads a normal zombie that approaches her. She then let her battle cry be known for a mile in every direction.

Kurotsuchi gangs up with Dan against the last ghoul. 

They have a brief exchange with it which ends with she stabs the back of its neck while it engages Dan. 

The rest of zombies in that area is finished but they are terribly exhausted. 

Now, it is too late to just run from the incoming zombies. 

With the herd nearly upon her, Sylvia prepares for the battle, ripping a branch from a nearby tree and placing her feet in the first position. Compared to Sekrit, Ivanna, Clementine and even Kurotsuchi, close combat has never been her strongest discipline, her arcane magic ability is the their best bet at the moment, given the large number of opponents. 

Hiro knows after killing countless opponents, Sylvia's abilities have grown by leaps and bounds, especially her electricity magic. She even gains a new lightning based area of effect magical spell.

The zombies let forth a most unpleasant roar as they come within viewable distance, and Sylvia returns it in kind as she begins her counterattack. 

As the zombies in the horde is very close to each other, she should be  able to kill dozens of them in single attack. 

She unleashes her first spell while everyone is standing 10 meters behind her. That lighting attack covers about 20 meters radius, causing about thirty zombies to be roasted in that attack. 

Another group coming from the other direction receives her second attacks. About thirty zombies are killed. 

Hiro, who has been monitoring Sylvia's status starts to worry.

"She can also launch another four spells." He tells everybody. 

Genma closes his eyes for a while before saying,

"Dan, here is the plan. You bring them to that safe place. I stay here. I still have my trump card unused."

Dan and Genma look at each other. Meanwhile, Sylvia unleashes her third attack, killing another thirty zombies. 

There is over a minute before she can use another spell. Luckily, there is a distance between her and the zombies. 

"Everyone, ready to take off. Genma will stay here. But, Mirai you will bind them."

Sylvia makes her fourth attack, killing about twenty zombies. 

Hiro is already holding Sylvia, and is ready to carry her away once she runs out of magic. 

Genma walks past both of them.

"You."

"Take care of ojou-sama, Mirai-chan and Hanabi well." Genma, the happy go lucky man gives her last words. 

Hiro understand that looks. That is the look of a man who already accepts death and advance forward anyway. 

Sylvia unleashes her fifth attack. 

The other girls start to leave the area. Only Dan who is carrying Mirai and Hiro who is carrying Sylvia. 

Sylvia gives her final attack, killing about two dozens of zombies.

Hiro runs away with Sylvia on his back. The small Mirai gets princess carried by Dan in his arms. 

As over three hundreds of those creatures pouring into the area, with three noticeable ghouls, Mirai unleashes her strongest spell, using up her entire magic energy.

"World shadow binding."

Black shadow comes from her shadow and stretches everywhere.

All zombies are frozen at their places when entering into the realm of the shadow. 

"Mirai-chan. Be happy. Live a long life."

As Genma says that, Mirai's tears flow uncontrollably.

"I will 'meet' you soon, my brother."

After saying weird parting words, Dan runs away. 

The shadow binding is still in effect although Mirai is leaving the area. 

Genma then runs amok, killing as many as zombies possible while the creatures are frozen within the shadow.
