Jill Enel Gustav takes a step back and waits for Hiro to go first before she follows him inside. It would be weird if the customers aren't in the lead.

Inside the room is a large room. There are large maps on the three sides of the walls of the room. In the center is serious-looking man wearing eyeglasses.

He is sitting on an office table as he stares at Hiro. He looks to be in his forties, and Hiro perceives him as a formidable nerd.

“Allow me to introduce myself. I am the head of this city’s Merchant’s Guild, Albert Gustav.”

He is a powerful-looking middle-aged man.

“This is the Mayor of Lothering Town, Bobby Ian Blare.”

Hiro nods, and Bobby waves slightly in response.

He is fat — no, frankly speaking, he is almost entirely made up of fat. His belly is rounded and flabby, and his chins are overflowing with adipose tissue. The excess of fat makes him look like a bulldog.

The hair on his head is sparse enough that his scalp reflects the light, and what little hair which is left has already turned white.

“Mr Hiro, pleased to meet you.”

Perhaps it is because his nose is stuffed up, but he makes weird noises when he speaks.

"Mister, what is your business here?" the Guild Master asks.

"I heard you intend to acquire 3,000 gold coins worth of properties." He further adds.

"Yes. I plan to establish permanent business in Lothering Town." Hiro explains.

There is a period of silence and Albert Gustav only stares at Hiro as if to gouge his ability.

Finally, Albert opens his mouth,

"We, the merchant guild, is only interested in encouraging commerce in this country and smoothening properties dealing. We won't pry into your real intention.

I understand you are rich and from Olga Federation. I warn you that any action that breaches our sovereignty of our nation shall be dealt harshly by the ruler. I hope you understand that."

"Yes. Don't worry about it." Hiro assures with full confidence.

"Let's get down to business." Albert says,

"There are two types of very expensive properties. One type is located at busy street. This type is usually small in size. Having said that, it is quite big actually, about 50 meters width and length and double storey."

"That's quite big." Hiro comments.

"Another type is however located at empty streets, not good for attracting walk-in customers. That's really large drawbacks for business. But... The properties there are big..."

Before Albert could further explains, Hiro interrupts,

"We want to biggest properties we can get with 3,000 gold coins. We can even add more coins."

The composed Albert becomes pleasantly surprised.

Suddenly, the fat man interferes,

"Then you... uhuk...can buy my ... uhuk.... buy my properties... uhuk... It is now offering at 5,000 gold coins. But you can take it at 3,000!"

His words are frequently accompanied by weird noises, probably due to a blocked nose or some other reason. Nor is there much intonation, probably because he is using his mouth to breathe. It makes his words sound strange, as though he is reading off a script.

"I agree, Lord Mayor. We take it but we need to check the buildings first." Hiro claps his hand as a sign of agreement.

"Then...uhuk..uhuk... We should make a haste.nuhuk The building is in good condition."
