(Frontier Castle at the border of Hinterland and Ostagar, surrounded by Korcari Wilds)

The seven men who are climbing the stairs, represent various groups of refugees from Olga Federation that make camps around the castle like building.

A man with long beard, a cult member leads them from one floor to another, until they reach the third floor, which is the top floor of the castle.

He is one of those who reside in the lower part of the tower, known as Grand Forest Villa.

The cult members call the tower as "Winterwatch Tower" and the castle as "Grand Forest Villa" because there are large signboards on those building with the words written on them.

The church that spreads all over the continent is "Church of Three Gods". The cult members who reside here are the church cast-offs who believe that the Church has failed in its duty and that the Theology of Three Gods is a lie. The cult preach about one God , then known as "One God Religion".

The church has declared them as heretic and persecute them.

The cultists escapes the prosecution by adventuring into Korcari Wilds and discovered this abandoned castle three years ago.

As they open the door, the woman standing by the window on the far side of the spacious  chamber raises her head and looks at them.

“So you refugees intend to live here?” she asks.

Her voice had such heat in it, it seems it could melt at any moment. The sun comes through the large window behind her, and the lips that peek out from under her hood smiles softly.

The woman sloughs off her robe, and waves of golden hair emerges like the sea. Her sheer, white garments gleefully exposes the voluptuous lines of her body.

The skin her vestments reveal is perfectly white, almost translucent, as if untouched by the sun. It means that the tinge of rose in her cheeks is probably not just from the light. She almost seems like a harlot—and there are cloisters that keep sacred prostitutes.

She could have wrapped any man who gazes upon her around her little finger, and yet, her eye sight is below average. In her hand, she hold the downward-pointing sword and scales that are the symbol of righteousness and justice. The way she all but leans on them, the way she whispers, conveys intense anxiety.

“Have we…disturbed you?”

“No.”

'Speaker' Anais. That is the name of the frontier cleric whom the cultists who reside in the Winterwatch Tower revere.

“Are new refugees also from Olga Federation?”

Her alluring, sultry voice is almost a whisper as she poses a question.

“Yes, there are. I beg you, help us…please let us dwell in this area…”  One of the men pleads with lowered head.

“…Elder Berand.” She looks at the old man, in priesthood attire next to her.

“Of course,” he says with the swiftness of a striking sword.

The old man was known as Bishop Berand in the past, but once he discarded the church's three gods doctrine, he wanted to be called "Elder Berand."

Her lips soften into the slightest of smiles, her breath coming warm.

Her ponytail hair spills over her expansive chest, little waves rippling through it.

"I understand that our members have already preached about one God message to you. If you leave the three gods church and embrace our one God Religion, we allow you to stay here."

The men simultaneously kneel down and now their head. They declare,

"We are no longer adhere church. We will follow one God and will do anything to live here!"

One of the man adds,

"The refugees are already tired of suffering and running away. Church never help us after all. Negara Holy State is fanatic believer of Three Gods Church after all."

Another man adds,

"The refugee has no problem at all, abandoning the church!"

***

(Haven village, Hinterland)

Dennet and his neighbour, Bron are working on the incomplete section of Dennet's house when a sound of galloping is heard from distance.

Area surrounding the newly created village, Haven is covered by hill, river and mostly trees.

Therefore, the sound is heard from beyond the trees but they cannot see the origin of that sound.

Elaina walks out the house. They look at each other. Apart from them, there are three more families living in Haven but only Dennet and his daughter ride horses.

Elaina says, "That girl, she goes to far again. I told her it is dangerous."

Dennet just stares at the planks he is working on silently. He cannot say anything as he insists them on living here.

Soon, Mabel appears from between the trees, heading to them.

She skilfully ensures the horse running on the designated path and enters into the wooden arch of their house.

"Dad. Winterwatch Tower. There are more of them now!" Mabel hurriedly says while still on her horse.

"What? The refugees? How many more? Hundreds?" Dennet replies uninterestedly. He is not loyal to current Marchioness of Redcliffe, thus he doesn't care if outsiders try to live there.

"No. You will be shocked. There could be thousands of them now. I had roughly counted. There over a thousand wooden houses being built. They are cutting trees in Skyhold and Korcari Wilds!"

Ban and Dennet immediately straighten their back.

"What?"

"Unbelievable."

The trio look at each other in puzzlement. They knew the refugees who camp between Grand Forest Villa and Fort Connor. They even knew about a cult residing there. Dennet and his Haven friends ignore them and even never report them to Redcliffe authority.

"It's true. You can come with me if don't believe."

"Enough, Mabel. Don't mingle with them. It's their life!"

Dennet raises his voice.

Quietly, he is doing calculation. Tevinter family was gone, thus the area in the Korcari Wilds won't be touched by anyone from Federation. It is known fact that Federation don't like to go into forest except the extinct Tevinter family.

"Anyway, don't come near them."
