We traveled four days almost round the clock. As I also gave torchlights to Minerva Blare and Fleuret Valois, their carriages even tore the miles at night. They only held off for lunch or sleep. That's why we were able to reach Fort Connor on the third day. 

According to Minerva's investigation, Fort Connor was completed twenty years ago by young Eamon Guerrin just after they defeat the Olga invasion. 

Despite no longer invaded by Federation, they stationed soldiers there as it is borders Dioral Kingdom.

Six years ago, it was renamed into Fort Connor when he had his youngest son, Connor Guerrin.

Last year Redcliffe force vacated the fort. 

Upon our arrival, we performed funeral ceremony for Granny Whitney and buried her there. 

Lyla didn't weep or said anything. She just remained silent with that sorrowful expression. In fact, she didn't mutter a single word since we left Abram. 

When we slept in the building beside the grave, she just sat at her nanny's grave. 

When I woke up the next morning, she was already sleeping soundly among us. 

We spent the night at Fort Connor although the distance between there and actual destination, Winterwatch Tower is merely an hour by carriage. 

Minerva said staying, resting and cleaning ourselves there is a preparation before meeting people at Winterwatch Tower. Unlike Fort Connor, there are a lot people at Winterwatch Tower.

She told us about refugees from various parts of Olga Federation that live there and we could relate that as my first experience in this universe is participating in Negara invasion.

During the three days, she also told story about religion in this continent and about the Three God Church. 

She said we need to prepare for meeting with One God Cult, a cast off from Three Gods Church, who has been residing there.

Before we depart to Winterwatch Tower, Selene and Hanabi pull me away from others.

"Hiro-sama, Selene, Minerva-sama, Fleuret-sama, Viola-sama, Ivanna-san and me were in the same carrier. We saw what happened with Lyla. We say Lyla stabbed Brita in her chest. That's all we saw as magic tool seemed to be destroyed by then." Hanabi said before looking at Selene.

"How on earth is Brita is still alive without wound. Healing such wound is impossible even with portions." Selene asks, her hands grab my arms.

I close my eyes. I can't tell them the real story as they won't understand.

Ivanna and Sylvia have been suspicious since months ago. Hanabi seems reluctant to ask about it. Hanabi, Kurotsuchi and Mirai might have heard about my peculiarity from their clan leadership. The only reason Hanabi is here because Selene is insisting. In that case, the three noble girls from Abram might be suspecting me as well. 

"I also don't know what happened. I need your help to understand it. Suddenly, her body shines brightly and we open my eyes, Brita had fully recovered."

That's the safest answer for now.

I am not lying. Selene just look at ground. What is she thinking, I wonder.
