Reina, Mirai and Myla had been planning this heist for weeks. They had studied the blueprints of the Margrave Etienne de Chevin's castle and had identified the best way to infiltrate it. Myla could not participate due to her severe wound. She waited at home and the two girls followed her plan. Meanwhile, Elen, who worked as a maid in the castle, had agreed to help them in exchange for giving her new place to work at. She had provided them with a map of the castle and had shown them a secret entrance near the kitchen that only the staff knew about.

As they made their way towards the castle, Reina and Mirai could feel their hearts pounding with excitement. They were both adrenaline junkies who lived for the thrill of the heist. Reina had been a thief since she was thirteen and had honed her skills over the years. She could unlock almost any door or safety box with ease. Mirai, on the other hand, was a teenage ninja who had been trained in the art of intrusion and reconnaissance. She could move silently and quickly, and could blend into the shadows without being noticed.

When they reached the secret entrance, Elen was waiting for them. She handed them a map of the castle and wished them luck. "Be careful," she whispered. "The guards are on high alert tonight."

Reina and Mirai nodded and slipped through the entrance. They found themselves in a dimly lit corridor that led towards the castle. They could hear the sounds of the guards patrolling the halls, their swords clanging against their armor. Reina motioned for Mirai to stay close and they crept towards the castle, their footsteps as quiet as a mouse. Their aim was the secret document stored in Etienne de Chevin's room. The document stated his plan to start a civil war in Orlais state. They must steal it and find a way to escape.

Reina and Mirai moved cautiously through the corridors, their eyes scanning every nook and cranny for any sign of danger. The castle was vast, and it would take them a while to reach their destination. As they made their way towards the stairs that led to the second floor, they heard a noise behind them. They turned around to see a guard, his sword drawn, approaching them.

Reina quickly reached for her lockpicks and started to pick the lock on the door nearby. Mirai stood in front of her, ready to fend off the guard if he came too close. As the lock clicked open, Reina pushed the door open and the two girls darted inside, closing the door quietly behind them.

They found themselves in a small room, filled with dusty old furniture and cobwebs. Reina pulled out the map that Elen had given them and studied it carefully. "We need to head straight down this corridor, take a left at the end, and then it should be the third door on our right," she whispered to Mirai.

They made their way through the castle, avoiding the guards as best they could. It wasn't long before they found themselves outside Etienne de Chevin's room. They listened at the door, but could hear no sounds from inside. Reina slowly turned the doorknob and pushed the door open.

The room was dark, but they could make out the shape of a desk in the center of the room. They crept towards it, their eyes scanning the surface for the document. And then they saw it - a small, leather-bound book lying on top of a stack of papers.

Reina and Mirai exchanged a quick look of triumph before making a move towards the desk. However, just as they reached the table, they heard footsteps approaching. They quickly turned around, and to their horror, they saw a group of guards standing at the doorway.

Without wasting any time, Mirai took out her kodachi short swords in both her hands, ready to fight. Reina, on the other hand, grabbed the document and ran towards the window. She opened it and jumped out, hoping to find a way to escape. Mirai fought off the guards, trying to buy Reina some time to get away.

Reina landed heavily on the ground outside the window, feeling a sharp pain shoot up her ankle. She tried to stand up, but stumbled, wincing in pain. She glanced around, looking for a way out, but there seemed to be no escape. The castle was surrounded by high walls, and the guards were closing in on her.

Just as she was about to give up, she heard a familiar voice calling out to her. "Miss Reina! Over here!" It was Elen. Reina looked up and saw the maid waving at her from the rooftop of a nearby building.

Reina's heart leaped with joy. She knew that if anyone could help her escape, it was Elen, the maid who worked in the castle. They promised to take Elen out of here. She hobbled towards the building as fast as she could, ignoring the pain in her ankle.

When she reached the building, Elen helped her up onto the rooftop. "Are you okay?" she asked, looking concerned.

"We must wait for Mirai. She fought with the guards to buy time for me to escape." Reina said worryingly.

Elen nodded in understanding. "I saw her fighting off the guards. She's a skilled warrior, she'll be okay," she said reassuringly. "But we need to get out of here before they catch us."

Reina nodded in agreement, clutching the document tightly to her chest. "Let's go," she said, following Elen towards the edge of the rooftop.

Elen led the way, showing Reina a series of ropes and ladders that would allow them to climb down the building safely. As they made their descent, Reina could hear the sounds of shouting and clashing swords from the direction of the castle.

"We need to hurry," Elen urged, gesturing towards a narrow alleyway that led towards the outskirts of the castle.

The two women climbed down the ropes and ran as fast as they could towards the edge of the city. They passed through the narrow streets, dodging people and animals, and trying to blend in with the crowd as much as possible. Reina's ankle throbbed with pain, but she refused to let it slow her down.

As they reached the outskirts of the city, they slowed down to catch their breath. Reina leaned against a wall, panting heavily, while Elen looked around nervously. "We need to keep moving," she said, her eyes scanning the area for any signs of danger.

Reina nodded in agreement. "Where do we go from here?" she asked, looking at Elen expectantly.

Elen thought for a moment before replying. "We need to leave this city. The Margrave's men will be looking for us, and it won't be safe to stay here," she said firmly.

Reina looked at the castle and said, "We must wait for Mirai. She fought the enemies for us."

The two girls descended down the ropes, their hearts racing with excitement and fear. Reina's ankle was throbbing with pain, but she gritted her teeth and held on tightly to the document. When they reached the ground, they ran as fast as they could towards the outskirts of the city, trying to put as much distance between themselves and the castle as possible.

After a while, they slowed down to catch their breath. Reina collapsed onto the ground, her ankle aching. Elen knelt beside her, checking her wound. "It's not too bad," she said, ripping a piece of cloth from her dress and using it to bandage Reina's ankle. "You'll be fine."

Reina smiled weakly at her. "Thank you," she said. "We couldn't have done it without you."

Elen shrugged. "It's nothing," she said. "I was happy to help. Besides, I needed to get out of that castle. It was too stifling for me."

Reina chuckled. "I know what you mean," she said. "I've spent most of my life trying to escape from places like that."

They sat there for a while, catching their breath and enjoying the cool night air.

Reina and Elen descended down from the rooftop using the ropes. They landed on the ground safely and start running towards their hideout. Along the way, they came across a group of guards who were searching for them. Elen told Reina to keep running and distracts the guards by pretending to be lost. She managed to draw them away from Reina and eventually lost them in the labyrinthine streets of the city.

Reina finally reached their hideout, where Mirai was already waiting for her. Reina embraced her. "Are you okay?" she asked, checking Reina's ankle. Reina winced in pain, but nodded. "I'll be fine," she said, holding up the leather-bound document. "We got what we came for."

Mirai's eyes light up with excitement. "Let's see it," she said eagerly. Reina handed her the document, and Mirai flipped through the pages, scanning the information. "This is it," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "This is the evidence we need to prove that Etienne de Chevin is planning to start a civil war."

Reina nodded, looking serious. "We have to get this to His Majesty. But first, we need to make sure we're safe," she says, looking around the room. "We can't let anyone know that we have this."

Mirai agreed, and the three of them started discussing their next move. They decided that the best course of action was to split up and travelled separately, so as to avoid suspicion. Mirai would take the document and travel to the capital to present it to the Hiro. Reina and Elen would stay behind and keep a low profile, in case anyone came looking for them.

The next morning, Mirai set off on her journey, disguised as a traveling merchant. She carried the document with her, hidden in the lining of her cloak. Reina and Elen watched her go, feeling a mixture of pride and anxiety. They know that the teenage girl was the best person for the job, but they also knew that there were many dangers ahead.

As Mirai disappeared from view, Reina turned to Elen. "We did it," she said, smiling. "We pulled off the heist of the century."

Elen smiled back at her, looking relieved. "I'm just glad you're safe," she said. "I was so worried about you."

Reina nodded, feeling grateful for Elen's help. "I couldn't have done it without you," she said, taking Elen's hand. "You're a true friend."

Elen blushed, looking pleased. "I'm just happy to have been a part of this," she said. "It was exciting, wasn't it?"

Reina nodded, grinning. "It was the best adventure of my life," she said. "And I wouldn't have wanted to do it with anyone else."

They chuckled.
