Reina, the orange haired girl was happy go lucky and was extremely good in unlocking doors. Not much known about her upbringing except she joined several bandit groups before being caught and forced to serve me. I heard a rumour that Reina was a daughter of low aristocrat in Orlais and ran way to escape an arranged marriage.

Now, we were just outside Rus town in Orlais. We just routed the enemies that surrounded the town and chased them away. Then Baron Jimi rode a horse with a middle aged man riding a horse beside him. They came to us. Behind me were soldiers under Doucy family.

The middle aged man with moustache was Baronet Hesse called Reina name and Reina called him "Father". Was Baronet Hesse Reina's father? Come to think about it, Reina always introduced herself as Reina Hesse. Very rare for a bandit to have family name.

The man walked to Reina with teary eyes while Reina seemed awkward and instinctively distanced herself from the emotional man.

As Baronet Hesse approached Reina, the soldiers under Doucy family became suspicious and raised their weapons. I quickly signaled for them to lower their weapons and stepped forward to intervene.

"Baronet Hesse, what brings you here? And why do you call this young lady your daughter?" I asked, demanding an explanation.

Baronet Hesse took a deep breath and spoke, "I am here to reclaim my daughter, Reina. She is the daughter of my late wife and me, but she ran away from home many years ago to escape an arranged marriage. I have been searching for her ever since."

Reina looked up, surprised, and her eyes met mine. Her expression was unreadable, but I could tell that she was still to figure out her feelings.

"Is this true, Reina? Are you really Baronet Hesse's daughter?" I asked gently, trying not to agitate her.

Reina hesitated for a moment before turning her face away from Hesse.

Baronet Hesse reached out to touch Reina's shoulder, but she stepped back again. "It's true that he's my father, but I don't want to go back with him. I have my own life now, and I don't want to be tied down by a noble family's expectations."

Baronet Hesse looked crestfallen, but he nodded. "I understand, Reina. But please, at least come back and visit your family. We miss you terribly, and your mother would have wanted to see you before she passed away."

Reina's eyes widened, and she looked up at Hesse in shock. "My mother... she's dead?"

Hesse nodded solemnly. "She passed away two years ago. We held a funeral for her, but we couldn't find you to let you know."

Reina still retained her composure . I put a comforting arm around her shoulders, and she leaned into me. "I had no idea... I see."

"It has nothing to do with me." Reina turned her face away.

I touched her shoulder and persuaded her,

"Please, Reina. They are your family. Your family is my family."

I could see the conflict in Reina's eyes as she weighed her options. She had been living a life of freedom and adventure, but now she was being confronted with the reality of her past and the family she had left behind.

Reina took a deep breath and looked at me, her eyes full of uncertainty. "I don't know, I need some time to think about it."

Baronet Hesse nodded, "Of course, take all the time you need. But please know that your family will always be here for you, no matter what."

Reina nodded in response before turning to leave.

"Baronet Hesse. Don't worry. I will make sure she visit your place." I told her father.

I followed her, leaving the soldiers and Baronet Hesse behind.

We walked in silence for a while, Reina lost in thought. I didn't want to push her to make a decision, so I waited patiently for her to speak.

"I never thought I would see my father again," Reina finally spoke up, her voice laced with emotion. "I always assumed he didn't care about me, that's why he never came looking for me."

I put a hand on her shoulder, "It's not too late, Reina. You can still make things right with your family."

Reina looked at me, a small smile forming on her lips. "Thank you for being here for me, for always supporting me, your majesty."

I smiled at Reina, "Of course, Reina. You're now my family as well. And family sticks together, no matter what."

"Yes. I am one of your mistresses."

Her teasing made me speechless. She giggled.

we continued walking in silence for a while. Eventually, we reached our campsite, and I noticed that Reina seemed lost in thought. I decided to give her some space and went to check on our troops.

As I was walking around the campsite, I noticed that something was off. Our guards were on high alert, and they seemed to be searching for something or someone.

Mirai, my ninja girl appeared beside me.

"Hiro-sama. We have reason to believe that there are spies in our midst," she informed me. "We found footprints leading to our campsite from the direction of Rus town, and we suspect that the enemy has infiltrated our ranks."

I frowned at the news. It was a serious matter, and we couldn't afford to let our guard down. I ordered the guards to double their efforts and keep a close eye on everyone in the campsite.

As I was returning to my tent, I noticed Reina sitting by the fire, lost in thought. I decided to join her and sat down beside her.

"Is everything okay, Reina?" I asked, concerned.

Reina looked up at me, and I could see that her eyes were filled with tears. "I don't know, your Majesty. I'm just feeling overwhelmed."

I put a comforting arm around her, "You don't have to go through this alone, Reina. We're here for you, and we'll get through this together."

Reina nodded, and we sat by the fire in silence for a while, lost in our own thoughts.

I keep the girls near me, namely Mirai the ninja girl, Sekrit the acrobatic sword woman, Irijina the spear woman, Gheyna the archer, Reina the thief and Suzy who was also an archer.

Suddenly, there was a commotion in the campsite, and we could hear shouts and screams. The six girls stood up, ready for whatever was coming our way.

As the guards continued to search for the enemy spies, I gathered the girls  to discuss our plan of action. We needed to act fast before the enemy could strike.

"Mirai, do you have any idea who could have sent the spies?" I asked.

"It's hard to say, Hiro-sama," Mirai replied. "But given that we just routed the enemy from Rus town, it's possible that they are trying to gather intel on our movements."

Reina nodded in agreement. "Mirai is right, Your majesty. We need to take extra precautions to ensure that our plans are not leaked to the enemy. Double the guard at our camp and send out scouts to patrol the area."

"Hiro, I suggest that we also set up decoys and traps to catch the spies," Sekrit the acrobatic sword woman suggested. "We could stage a false meeting and see who shows up." Good idea from the smartest mind among the girls.

"That's a good idea, Sekrit," I replied, impressed with her strategic thinking. "Let's set that up and see if we can catch the enemy off-guard."

As we continued to discuss our plan, a messenger arrived with urgent news.

"Your Majesty, we have received word from Master Leonhardt Strauch that the enemy has regrouped and is planning to launch a surprise attack on our camp tonight," the messenger reported.

Reina voiced up, "I have an idea. What if we use me as bait? I can pretend to have information about our plans and lead the spies into a trap."

All eyes turned to her.

"And how are you going to do that? Using your lewd body to seduce them?" The smart Sekrit asked Reina sarcastically.

Reina seemed annoyed by her but still retorted, "Lady Sekrit, you are indeed beautiful but I am more attractive than you."

Sekrit grabbed Reina's shoulders, "You, thief."

"Enough, girls." Suzy separated the two women.

I sighed and told Reina, "Reina and Mirai, you lure the spy."

"Understood, your majesty!" Reina said .

"Your wish is my wish, Hiro-sama!" Mirai said.

With the plan in place, we quickly sprang into action. Mirai and Reina left the campsite, pretending to be going on a secret mission. They made sure to leave a trail of footprints leading away from the campsite, hoping to lure the enemy spies to follow them.

Meanwhile, the rest of us worked on setting up traps and decoys around the campsite. We stationed guards at strategic points, and we had Suzy and Gheyna perched high up in the trees, ready to take out any intruders with their bows and arrows.

As night fell, tension filled the air. We waited with bated breath for any signs of the enemy. Suddenly, we heard rustling in the bushes, and our guards sprang into action, ready to attack.

We led a small team of soldiers headed towards the river. As we approached, we heard voices whispering in the dark.

Mirai signaled to Reina to hide behind a nearby tree, while she silently crept towards the source of the whispering. She could make out the voices of two men who were discussing the camp's layout and defenses.

"I can see the archers up in the trees, and there are traps all around the campsite. How are we supposed to get past them?" one of the men whispered.

"Leave that to me," the other man replied. "I've got a few tricks up my sleeve. We just need to get past the guards and into the camp, and then we can do whatever we want."

Mirai listened intently, trying to gather as much information as she could. She signaled to Reina and me to come closer, and the two of them quickly devised a plan.

I ordered the guards to prepare for an ambush, and Mirai and Reina continued to eavesdrop on the spies' conversation.

After a few minutes, Mirai signaled to me that the spies were getting ready to make their move. I nodded and gave the order to attack. The soldiers sprang into action, launching a surprise attack on the unsuspecting spies.

The spies were caught off guard, and they were quickly subdued and captured. We interrogated them and found out that they were working for the enemy's leader, who had managed to regroup his troops and was planning a surprise attack on our campsite.

We wasted no time and made preparations to defend ourselves against the enemy's attack. We reinforced our defenses, set up more traps, and stationed our soldiers at strategic points around the campsite.

As the night wore on, we waited anxiously for the enemy's attack. And just as we expected, the enemy launched their attack at the darkest hour of the night. The sound of horns and drums filled the air, and the clash of swords and shields echoed through the forest.

Our soldiers fought bravely, with Sekrit and Irijina leading the charge, cutting down the enemy soldiers with their swords and spears. Gheyna and Suzy took down the enemy archers with their accurate shots, while Mirai and Reina used their agility and stealth to take out the enemy spies and leaders.

The battle raged on for an hour, but in the end, we emerged victorious. The enemy's general was killed, and their troops were scattered and defeated.

As we stood victorious on the battlefield, I couldn't help but feel proud of my girls. They had fought bravely and with honor, and their skills and courage had saved our camp from certain destruction.

We returned to our campsite, exhausted but triumphant.
