Grace was currently free flying to an unknown area, after checking that she still had everything with her and still had the same outfit, she fixed up her mask and let out a sigh of relief. Before Grace could decide anything Jack interrupted.

 

{I think we are in Honkai Impact, probably in the era of how the creatures in the manga or game came to be. Though I’m not sure.}

 

“I’M SORRY WHAAAT?!?!?!?!” Grace was more surprised, so she made pure black angelic wings on her back. So that she wouldn’t be attacked anytime soon and can survey her surroundings.

 

{Sorry, wrong wording. What I meant is that this world feels like all the resets we’ve been through but each world is separated from one another, so most likely we have to complete or fix each reset one by one.}

 

“Ok, but that doesn’t explain WHERE exactly we are and which world we are currently in now does it.” Grace was still slowly descending down, but she still couldn’t tell where exactly she was at.

 

{Hmmmmm, the world we are currently in is complicated in more ways than one, there are portals which help get to different dimension such as the demon world, the yokai world, along with other portals that lead to a specific fantasy race, while this area currently has a diversity of many various race from fantasy to normal. Has modern technology in all of the countries and futuristic technology in some countries, has adventure guilds and with that it has monsters too. }

 

“Alright, that means I don’t need to change my outfit, yesss. Though it would be just a pain in the ass if I had to.” Grace was happy by this statement.

 

{Well at least you have short silvery black hair, or else with long hair I can only see you just using some sort of magic or item to clean your hair, meaning you wouldn’t enjoy any showers.}

 

“Well you’re not wrong about that.” Grace couldn’t imagine herself not taking any showers and just using magic to clean herself.

 

{…………………………… I’ve been wondering for a while now. Are you a D or an F size, I could get ‘that’ other you to come play with you, though it would be a sight to watch. Now I can only see you struggling to carry that much weight on you.}

 

“Fuck off.” Grace could only sigh at Jack's comment.

 

{I mean technically you would be doing that to your succubus part of you, cause I mean you can materialize us if you want.}

 

“.......... Just shut up.” Grace was just getting more infuriated with Jack.

 

{You’re probably an F size or more depending, though you do look more curvy.}

 

“Stop, you’re going to make me sick, from just imagining what type of expression you have right now.” Grace was trying to not imagine what sort of expression Jack had.

 

{You do know that I’m expressionless right? I mean I can’t really show any face cause I’m just a voice in your head unless you materialize me.}

 

“I think that’s enough joking, as we should stop talking and see what this world is like and find my ‘different past self?’ to see if I can help him/her out.” Grace flys downward much faster now. 

 

{Alright but be on guard for anything}

 

After a few hours of flying downward she starts seeing the land but it is only the landscape that she can see. A couple of minutes later shes lands on the ground, and retracts her wings back, and asks Jack, “Are you sure of what you said about this world is true cause I don’t see anything besides this beautiful land.”

 

{Hmmmmm, I’m not sure now, although I had a feeling this would happen and I wanted you to try something but there’s a risk of you going to some place where we might end up in a manga or light novel/web novel world although that possibility is 25% but there is still a chance and another reason is that we may have restriction on us although that depends on your choice, I’ll explain later if we do end up in one of those worlds. Soooo try changing the timeline to a different time period.}

 

“Alright, I can try but I’m guessing there’s something else you’re not saying though I don’t mind as long as I don’t go insane.” Grace then takes out a metal staff that has at the top of it a rainbow color jewel that has a diamond shape to it, she slams the staff into the ground and the landscape changes once again to that of an overgrown forest where everything is flourishing.

 

{Ummm… Hey I think I jinxed us.}

 

“Haaaahhh, you know you could’ve not told me right? Well in truth if only you didn’t say anything about Honkai Impact then probably we wouldn’t be in this world. First we’ll be going to a different world and timeline so that I won’t be rushed in decision making, ok.” After a few seconds Grace slams the staff once again into the ground the scenario changes once again but this time into a desert that spams on forever. After Grace got her bearings together she sees something in the far distance but doesn’t know what it is, so she walks closer to said object until Jack interrupts her train of thought.

 

{WHY THE FUCK ARE WE IN THIS DEPRESSING WORLD!?!?!?!?!?!?!}

 

“You Jackass, you know that only I can hear you right and you knew that I was focusing on something entirely different, and what do you mean by depressing world?” The mere thought of the phrase ‘Depressing World’ sent shivers down Grace’s spine, but she knew that she couldn’t continue running away from a world that she didn’t like.

 

{Oh I do apologizes for my misdemeanor of making you los-}

 

“Ok you sarcastic bastard, you can stop talking and tell me where I am.”

 

{Hmmm it’s no fun if I tell you but I’ll give you a hint, ok I’ll say it now ‘the beauty of cracks that have a pattern on a steel color greatsword can not be said by words but for the user of the sword only pity comes to mind’ welp that’s your hint.}

 

Grace was only angry because it only confused her more when she tried to understand the meaning of Jake’s words. “Fuck it, I have no clue what your words mean so, I’m gonna continue walking done this path hopefully finding something that might piqued my interest.”

 

A few hours after walking, there was a slight tremble in the ground. Grace grabbed the katanas that were at her sides in each hand and pulled them out of there sheath in an attack stance, in a few seconds a large mass came erupting from the ground. Grace simultaneously slams both of the katanas towards the ground which made two blades form from wind, which instantly cut the monster in three sections. While the dust settles, Grace puts both of the katanas back into their sheath.

 

Grace asks Jack, “Hey Jack, do you sense any other enemy around my vicinity?”

 

{Well there’s some a few kilometers away and the rest are a couple of miles away, while—–}

 

Before Jack could finish his sentence, Grace was on her guard immediately once she sensed a presence behind her, but what she saw was a shadowy figure that looked like a human. Although once she saw this only rage filled her mind not because of the shadowy but because this was unexpected.

 

Grace raised her voice demanding an answer from Jack, “WHAT THE FUCK, EVERY FUCKING THING IS GOING TOO FAST, haaaaaaaaaa for peep sake Jack do you know anything about this thing.” 

 

{Don’t get touch by it}

 

Once Grace heard Jake’s voice that was full of hatred, in both of her hands she creates sharp jagged edges whips that were as long as 5 meters long.

 

The shadow figure chuckles and says, “Ha ha ha, oh my, one is a clueless fool knowing nothing, the other knows far too much than it leads on to. I truly wish to ask how but atlas what you… no what the other you did in the past can never be forgiven. Although, I do must say why has everything reverted back to its original time, it’s like you were never there to begin with and I doubt that you know the answ––”

 

Before the shadowy figure could finish his sentence, Grace leashes both whips towards the shadowy figure making the sand become a large dust cloud, immediately after Grace conjures up hardened sand spikes and sent them flying to the shadowy figure. Grace stays on guard, after the dust settles the shadowy figure was still there, it snaps its fingers and immediately darkness slowly raises from the ground forming a 100 meter circle. The shadowy figure says with malice, anger, and excitement, “Lets go down a road of forgotten memories, for it’s fun to see what expression you’ll have when you try to save the people you have already lost.”

 

{Well shit. I would advise you to actually use your abilities more efficiently.}

 

(Well, my imagination is difficult to control and you know it, but I could get some lights to light up this place a bit more.)

 

Grace transform one of the whips into a scythe which glows a brilliant light, she slams the scythe towards the ground, as the scythe slammed into the ground creating a large crack to appear in the ground, pure blue flames could be seen coming out of the ground as well as from the crack, the crack in the ground was slowly becoming larger as more blue flames came out of the ground, many ethereal chains seem to slowly appear in the blue flames and going into the direction of where the shadowy figure was. The shadowy figure reaction was quite odd though, it just snaps its fingers then 30 shadow like spikes rush towards Grace.
