Memories In Dreams

"Brr~!!" As if trying to tell Tongqiu to 'look at me, look at me go!', Rosey began sending cute little noises his way all while still making a carnage out of these disorganized and not that intelligent players. Tongqiu gave her side a glance and sure enough, she saw a 'graceful' Rosey move around in the battlefield, her every move resembling a little of the gorgeous huge beauty he dueled with before as well as the human-sized one he had a 'final stand' with before ending their duel.

Naturally, every single one of the hits she landed on the players was enough to pulverize them without even using Bloodline as these groups, little raids of unremarkable players were all but a laughing stock, probably made from random selection at those who were more or less 'good' at the game while also not being from another group.

-8,700, -8,700, -8,700, -8,700, -8,700, -8,700, -8,700, -8,700...

*PING*...your pet 'Rosey' has successfully killed a player, 'Fat Thighs Are Okay'.

*PING*...your pet 'Rosey has successfully killed a player, 'Chicken Thighs Are Also Okay'.

*PING*...your pet 'Rosey has successfully killed a player...

*PING*...your pet 'Rosey has successfully killed a player...

Rosey almost had double of what Tongqiu's Attack/Action Speed was, so she could easily make more attacks than he could without battering an eye but, she chose to grant Tongqiu a nice show with her little body moving around everywhere, equally killing as many players as he could and with such 'art' to it that even her face was performing for this act, occasionally glancing at Tongqiu to see if he would still look at her.

'Whoever got these idiots to work for them, has to be really rich, and very stupid I suppose.' With all of this happening, Tongqiu could easily take his time to let his mind wander a little bit on this kind of nonsense, he even envisioned a future where he would be receiving tons and tons of money, truly, it was a good vision for Tongqiu!

*PING*...you have successfully killed a player, 'Onomatopoeia'.

'Hmm...' Glancing at the endless current of notifications from the system and battle log every now and then, Tongqiu then thought for a little bit as some arrows went his way.

-87, -17.

"Brr?" Not understanding why would her big bro allow himself to be touched by anything in this kind of lousy battle, Rosey went right away at his side to made little circles around him, protecting him from even any particle from reaching more than 1 meter from where his body stood.

After a little while, Tongqiu 'woke up' as he glanced at the wondering Rosey that was effortlessly dealing with this nuance, he gave her a pampering and affectionate smile before lightly nodding. Rosey stopped once she arrived in front of him, her head looking upwards towards him as if waiting some kind of pat or rewarding from Tongqiu while Tongqiu himself looked all around. Players stopped fighting altogether, or rather, coming at them. They were now taking a fully blank of an expression as they watched the last battle spirited players die at last.

Their thoughts could easily be taken in by just anyone, things like 'just why are we even here?', 'there wasn't a mention of his pet, right?' and even 'I just wanna go, dying like this is boring. This is obviously above us, what the fuck.'.

Seeing their expressions, Tongqiu nodded satisfyingly before crouching down and petting little Rosey before lifting her up in his embrace, letting her look at the players once last time before whispering in her now trembling little pointy ear: "Okay Rosey, see these thugs? They have a lot of things that could help me right now, so we gotta kill them, okay?"

Nodding while closing her eyes in cute obedience, Rosey muttered: "Brr, brr."

"Mn." Nodding in return to her understanding, Tongqiu then added: "So, now we kill them all and all those who have yet to come, take their stuff and then wait for them to come back! They may think we can't get them all so they would obviously come back a couple of times to see if they're lucky, after all, there aren't many other players here. Do you understand?"

"Brr, brr. Ptrr!" Rosey was nodding once again before rapidly changing her cute little appearance to her terrifying, scary appearance, prompting the nearby players to erase their heartfelt feelings for this little pet of Tongqiu into a rather uncomfortable and understanding glances as they all exchanged looks with one another.

Their eyes were as if saying 'we're... we're gonna die now, aren't we?' and also 'yup, should've known it was shady business... too shady!'.

"Oh right, if they run away, which they would probably do. Just chase and kill! It'll be fun, real fun, you'll see! Now... go!" Right after speaking, Tongqiu raised both his arms as the cutely nodding yet terrifying Rosey sent out her claws first before brazing her fangs at her front.

"Ptrrrrr~!!"

Another killing spree began, loot fell and they even came back at least once for each player that died, with the hopes that Tongqiu could obviously not take all those items by himself and that some of the other players on their side wouldn't 'safeguard' it ever so friendly.

At some point, players of this 'group' realized that Tongqiu had more than just a bow, and more than an extremely OP pet. Whatever the means he had, he could easily store at least a couple thousands items by himself which was so much more than even an upgraded bag could have. To all this, which Tongqiu didn't know because he barely speaks with any NPC, let alone players. As such, he has had the same novice bag all this time with only 200 space.

In any case, players chose to run away at some point, very very soon after from the moment the desolate hunting grounds became a battlefield. Rosey didn't even need to activate Bloodline as she unknowingly chased them to death, literally. A few seconds later, she would be  back to Tongqiu with an innumerable amount of items in her arms as they strangely didn't fell on their way at all, even with the speed and turns she was making, which also accentuated how adorable and cute this little Rosey is and can get. Which also made Tongqiu involuntarily snort peacefully every time he saw this scene, little antics of her. She would also come back with a few tears of sweat on the sides of her forehead while breathing out heavily, so cute.

At first, she was only curious and not into it at all. But after doing so for the second out of 4 small armies of players, she became excited every time she had to hop once or twice before killing almost a dozen of them for each hop!

There wasn't some kind of thrill or the feeling of their flesh, bones and blood becoming distorted in her little claws, nope, it was instead the fact that such chaotic state of the battlefield has been reached that allowed her to bask on the fearful and adverse feelings and emotions of the players who were previously emitting only perversion, greed and even lust. The contrast of having turned these -indeed- 'annoying ants' into this little fun of a game made her enjoy the process a lot.

It looked that she has now become totally into being the terror of these 'Journeyers'. Good, because she has never had a good impression of these greedy and lustful for power neanderthals that have come to their Kingdom!

Tongqiu looked from the distance as Rosey lost herself in the fun of making them all go brainless, there was not a big source of fear when it came to them dying, but by going with the news from other teams, their loot was at danger from the moment they stepped into the battlefield.

It was a pity, should they have had been warned earlier, this wouldn't happened. They would've run away from the very first moment, sigh, it was troublesome to not be in an association in order to perform these kinds of 'operations'.

Or so they foolishly thought, with Tongqiu's, let alone Rosey's; Mental Power, they both could just track them down however and whenever they wanted. Easily at that, and without the use of Bloodline or Tongqiu's archery mastery at that!

After what seemed to be around half an hour, Rosey and Tongqiu finished picking up all of the loot as well as having finished all of the mobs in this desolate hunting ground which would probably take around three days or four, for players to reach this area in acceptable conditions.

He was still LV31 while Rosey reached LV24 which unlocked the rest of the three locked skills.

Author's Note: This and Tongqiu's stats will be shown shortly after a few chaps, don't worry~.

'Hmm, I really gotta visit these private dungeons. I wonder if those open dungeons are any good, though? Mmm.' As Tongqiu kept his mind busy, the familiar scene of a little Rosey hardworking for her big bro's collecting of items came back with a tower of items that was tumbling left, right, back and forwards without stop. Threatening to fall out at any moment, yet never being able to do so.

On her way towards Tongqiu, Rosey's head was suddenly brightened by a gain of enlightenment as she 'disastrously', 'tragically' and 'heartwrenchingly' tripped! As all the items were falling to the ground, little Rosey had a blank and innocent expression across her eyes before they went wrinkly as they closed tightly, as she then began to sob in a heartpiercing manner.

"Brwrwrwruuuuuuu~~ Brwuuu! Brwrwrwruuuu!"

Almost, her cries, though perfectly honest in a sense; were still really cute instead of tragic. Even then, they fulfilled their purpose of drawing Tongqiu, though not in the same manner that she imagined it'll be.

With soft, quick steps, Tongqiu quickly arrived before her with his shoulders somewhat up in worry. Arriving before her, he stopped for two seconds as his body relaxed, he didn't thought something happened to her. He was just worried of any strong abnormality happening, now, THAT would be worrying.

Having already known he was right besides her, the pitifully sitting and sobbing Rosey with her hands spurting out crystal-clear tears from her lacrimals suddenly stopped, softly before lifting her arms in a way that Tongqiu would surely understand her meaning.

Sure enough, Tongqiu picked her by her little arms before making a an embrace that one would do to hold a baby. Then, with a clear gaze on her little body, which made her giggle unconsciously as she herself knew it was impossible to fool this damn fool even with good intentions. He took out a beautiful, dark green leaf from the White Space before giving it to her as if he was giving her a feeding bottle.

"Brr, brr!!" Behaving like a baby, unbeknownst to even her, Rosey became all excited on finally having a toy to play with!

She excitedly grabbed it, carefully, with her left little hand before bringing it to her face. Nuzzling against it, she looked to rather like it, as she should. Tongqiu had that little toy from one of the many things that Irllytia bought for him. It was mainly bought as an ornamental item but it was now being used by this little monster who just took the 'lives' out of many players with utter excitement.

"I gotta buy some toys for her.' That was his first and lasting thought as he watched her be so focused on that dark little leaf as if it was a treasure that she could not part with.

After a little while, as Tongqiu chose to calmly walk back to the city, Rosey kept on playing with it until she grew a little 'tired' and stored it in who knows where. It wasn't on his White Space and the pet space was only to contain a pet, which Rosey had never been in. Oh well, it didn't really matter, as long as she didn't lost it.

Tongqiu didn't realized how thunderously tremendous it was for him to care about someone else to not lose something he's given to them... For as he was too self-absorbed on the joy Rosey has dived deep in.

. . .

After two hours or so from their slow walk, or rather, Tongqiu's as Rosey was lazily dozed in his arms.

Tongqiu arrived once again at the blacksmith's shop and after talking a little bit with the curious owner, courtesy of his constant in and outs as well as the little doll on his arms, Tongqiu brushed him off 'gently' as he didn't wanted to wake the little devil up as he then entered his mid-small forging room.

After placing delicately her on the worktable, far away from the anvil and forge, Tongqiu went towards them to begin his sub-class grinding Experience.

"Sigh, so many, so much. In only one day, argh... Too much interaction, I still don't like it, Miriam." At the mention of his complaint from merely having to look at other people, Tongqiu inadvertently spoke at no one as if he was ranting on habitually after a normal, peaceful day...

He shook his head a few minutes after losing himself as he picked up his hammer without a reason, as there were no items so to speak of to start forging onto something. With the hammer up and his hands 'holding' nothing, Tongqiu remained in that silly state for about three minutes before a notification hammered up his mind at once.

*PING*...you have received a message from your friend, 'Zyv'.

'Oh boy, another little devil.' A little helpless, Tongqiu opened up Zyv's message box as he read through her message. It was the first time after having not contacted each other for quite the while pass of time.

Zyv: "Big Brother Wolfy~~."

'Really now.' Not knowing why so casual that she was finally messaging him, Tongqiu responded politely.

Tongqiu: "Mn, Zyv."

Right after, he received a scolding from the little girl.

Zyv: "Wah! If you're gonna only mention my name, do it with your voice! How rude :c."

As time went on, they kept on this conversation, both cute and awkward.

Tongqiu: "Ah, sorry sorry. My precious little cub, what is it you need? Hm?"

Zyv: "Hmph!"

Zyv: "You of course!"

Tongqiu: "Be more specific, that's easily misunderstood, don't you know?"

Zyv: "Aaaaaaah! How dare you defile me with words~!? I, of course, know!"

Zyv: "I only have Big Brother Wolfy as my contact as well as my sis! Even then, I only like to talk to one male, you!"

Tongqiu: "So?"

Zyv: "..."

Zyv: "Silly, stinky, smelly, ugly Tongqiu!"

Tongqiu: "You are kinda cute though."

It took some time for Zyv to answer after Tongqiu delivered such a message that he could've easily stopped from sending it away as even though he unconsciously wrote that, he wouldn't so dumbly send a message without thinking. His head would always be on guard, no matter what, truly no matter what.

Only after some time has passed did Zyv sent a message again.

Zyv: "I like you, big bro..."

Zyv: "I only talk like this with big bro because I only like big bro, besides my sis that is >:P."

Zyv: "I only wanted to spend time with big brother, I know this LV60 place where we can have a lot of fun! There is also these few private dungeons I've been to where it was also really fun! I couldn't do anything though, only observe. But since big bro is so strong, I thought you may carry me all the way? Please~? As well as in the game ;)."

'Sigh, my bad.'

Tongqiu: "Okay, I'm sorry. When do you want to go?"

Zyv: "Hehehe. Not even asking where, hm? Am I that effective, big bro?"

Zyv: "Ah! Before you say anything, can I call you... my big bro?"

Even if it was communicating without a call and by being who-knows-how-much distanced from each other, Tongqiu could easily tell that she was somewhat nervous about it as he actually began pondering on her request.

'She has already called me her big brother before, what changed? Ah...' It was better not to overthink it, even as he already knew some possibilities, it was not that important to think about it. There was simply no point in delving into it.

Tongqiu: "Mn, it's okay if it's you."

Zyv: "Hehe~. Well, I'll contact my big brother then. I was sent to the Uncontrollable Affection Sub-Division so I may take a some time to travel between Regions but don't worry, I'm pretty fast! We can then take some time to spend time with each other, having dates and kissing!"

Tongqiu: "I thought you wanted me to carry you? Also, it's that what a little sister does with her big brother?"

Zyv: "Waaah! No, but I really want to?"

Tongqiu: "Hm, are you sure? This is no matter for a little girl. Let alone a little girl and a big, fat and ugly bastard like me to be with you like this."

Zyv: "If my big brother is as nice to me as silly as he is, then I don't care!"

Tongqiu: "Okay, I'll wait for you, yes? Just tell me with previous notice so that I don't have much stuff left to do."

Zyv: "Mn! Like half a month's time I hope. Don't worry! I can send you back to your Region very easily, we just need to have intimate points at max! Hehe, thanks for not asking too much big bro, mwah~ ♥‿♥."

With that, the last of their chatting ended. As always, Zyv made him become someone that could talk and speak, or message, a lot out of nowhere. She was just sweet and comforting sometimes, that he would momentarily forget she was only 15 years or so.

'What kind of identity does this chick has? She's just so... ah, interesting.' Noticing at last how fished he has been and become, Tongqiu shook his head as he spent another 2 to 3 hours in making more and more batch of arrows as well as concocting some little more, without forgetting to work on his repair abilities of course.

Deep in the night, Peaceful Rain Villa, Tongqiu's bedroom.

"Hm, grh--" Tongqiu's body made some light movements, his throat producing some kind of muffled well spoken words, giving the entire scene a superb feeling of realism.

His mind, however, was occupied by images on his head. These weren't the typical images and events where one could call them dreams; as images, voices; every person and every living moment were being portrayed exactly as they were, unlike a fuzzy dream would with some echo on their voices and blurriness between each and any kind of image, appearance and colors.

Just like how he managed to 'go back' to the images of his past actions from when Yao Yao was falling down the stairs, successfully waking up to his previous lost in thoughts state once again, and saving her little body from an unthinkable outcome. In that exact manner was he unconsciously repeating it without noticing, he has had wanted to try it out again but he didn't do it for whatever reason, so he dreamt.
