The Battle For The First Castle (4)

Right at the moment Baston was also sent flying away, the rest of the 'pro' players couldn't hold themselves anymore from excitement and anxiousness as well as nervousness. After all, who could ever truly hold themselves when their leaders are already going all out?

Loyal player was going up against Zeyan, while Hor was going against Mort. However, the rest of the Guerilla Guild's players were quickly facing off and finishing off the team leaders from the Knights of Raoundozia. After all, they had the least amount of 'pros' in their ranks, with the Guerilla Guild almost tripling their numbers on that account.

Long player's Movement Speed was infinitely superior to a turtle tank that was a guardian, and Zeyan knew of it. That's why, though he could make a slight charge in hopes of at least getting close to him, Zeyan remained on the spot and actually opted to make time for the rest of his teammates to take out the rest of the Knights of Raoundozia elite players before coming to his aid.

There was, however, one problem. As he was being shot without a god damn stop by Loyal player, with even some burnt effects growing on his body little by little which were eating away his almost 15k HP, Mort was being dominated by Hor. She was a cleric, and also wore light clothing besides wielding a very light blessed dagger as well as only using her long heavy sword when either; in the air when hacking down at an enemy or on the spot when she was being charged at. So, basically; her Movement Speed was much better than a guardian's, even if not by much.

However, the result of her and Hor's face off resulted in her being overwhelmed by Hor's incredible nimbleness despite his actual slow Movement Speed!

For as, right now, Mort had already been forced to use actual healing skills on herself to bring her HP to full from being less than 50% twice! She not only felt humiliated but also dumb and stupid, mostly for underestimating such an enemy. Mort's previous thoughts were that this seemingly out-of-nowhere unknowns were over their heads as they even lost more than 70% of their main group forces in one single battle that wasn't even half an hour long, against their not even third of their numbers 5,500-man army.

But now, she was sweating with some dried blood on the left side of her face with her front included; all while she did her best to use her dagger to defend the endless incoming attacks from Hor, who was using the best of a guardian's quick capabilities of having low attack power yet relying on that high Attack/Action Speed to keep her useless. Mort wasn't even able to change her weapon to the heavy long sword as she was never let alone in peace for even more than 3 seconds, let alone 5 second!

Meanwhile, the Phetsia vs Delette match had every spectator truly absorbed by both; the intense and hard-fought battle as well as the beauty of each wonder of the New Earth!

While Delette always lead a small charge after every single space out in between their bouts, Phetsia wasn't seemingly phased by the amply difference in weapon weight. She was making each of Delette's attacks move to the side and to upper and lower angles each time, parrying them without a fail!

But, those parries weren't not only perfect- but actually of the lowest level. However, that they were of the lowest quality of parries didn't meant they were useless or that she could only fight to a stalemate as Phetsia actually had the time to attack Delette a couple of time after each parry. With the strangely heavy armor that Delette was wearing, the damage output was low as hell alright; nevertheless, Phetsia's HP continue to remain full while Delette's was already a fourth of her HP once again which forced her to use another round of healing skills on herself.

Finally, a couple of Guerilla Guild's team leaders had the chance to finish off their opponents, but as they were about to make their way towards aiding Zeyan and Delette, Baston made a gesture with his left arm as the previously disappeared shield by a white glow emerged on his left hand once again with his right-handed short sword pointing low at the ground.

Instantly after, those couple of player made their way towards helping Mort instead, as she was about to be truly ruled out from their ranks!

Not only that but, the moment they made their move towards their ally, another Guerilla Guild player got himself free from a Knights of Raoundozia player who was then seen falling onto the ground lifelessly, his eyes shakily gazing at his boss's direction.

Raoundozia, at seeing this, immediately made a scrunch on his face with his nose as the epicenter as he lowered his head in slight show of thanks and respect for that player's buying time as he slowly made his way towards Baston, his long sword appearing at once. Strangely, when he saw it appear, Raoundozia seemingly thought of something as he then gazed at the battle of Delette and Phetsia; his gaze lingering on Delette's long, strange sword that was a combination of a rapier and a claymore.

Meanwhile, Mort was feeling both, low and despondent from having the need of another three players to help her up in fending off against one sole guardian who were notoriously known as slow, with low attack and extremely lacking in offensive skills.

This way, there were now three male players and Mort against Hor alone; while Loyal player was already finishing off one of Guerilla Guild's most renown and acknowledged players, Zeyan!

. . .

Peaceful Rain Villa, in the Living Room. On the sofa-bed where many beauties of ages ranging from 14 to mid-20's were adoringly gazing at a single person while also looking back at the extremely large TV screen from time to time.

"...and so, that is how the day ended at that time." Tongqiu finalized his words with a little contained sigh among his last few spoken words, he then felt the many hands of his maids on his chest, rubbing him slightly in both; with the aim to comfort him and to comfort themselves.

"Buwaahaaaaa... Master, sniff so pitiful, waaaah..."

"Yes... indeed, now... now- Master, we will take care of you not only professionally, but- but also with lots of love!"

"Yes! Yes, that's right! We'll make Master feel cared and loved by his little maids!"

"Mn, mn!" Many maids nodded heavily and strongly on those well-spoken words, while some other continued sorrowfully appearing silly yet cute for all to see.

Then, an out-of-nowhere silence-making claim went to each of the people present's ears: "Of course! We will now be more willing to be taken by Master anywhere and as much he'd like to, we're his after all!"

Everyone: "..."

Alright, that was a little strange and definitely absurd. However, it wasn't like that statement was wrong; and it definitely was as if all the maids were having that thought, Tongqiu could tell by 'hearing' their harshly and deeply beating hearts as well as 'feeling' their surging emotions and expectations, as well as bashfulness.

'Holy fuck... Natalia, you've brainwashed this poor, innocent maidens!' While Natalia was being wrongly accused, Tongqiu was being rubbed on his body in more than one ways... which he naturally stopped them before they took out his Big Dragon once all of them had a little grab and test for future 'homework' with their hands, fingers, tips of their fingers and even nails... for their own sake. As not even Tongqiu could control Tongqiu's thirst.

"Oh, look!" A maid who was now calming down from everyone's previous absurd need to show devotion to their very same Master, pointed out at the TV screen which changed from the ever growing tense fight to a rather incoming-of-doom-like scene of two armies about to face each other far away from the bouts of the pros.

"Oh, that's right, I see it too."

"But, it's obvious that the Guerilla dudes have lots of traps, right?"

"I don't know, they seem to obvious but, that doesn't mean..."

As the maids and little maids entered into a light discussion, Tongqiu's eyes calmly went through the south and west angles for a little before going through the Guerilla Guild's territory and its surroundings, on all the digged holes which some were covered while others not even cared for as they were blatantly shown to the incoming Knights of Raoundozia 5,665-player army.

. . .

On the battlefield, the territory of the Guerilla Guild, where their players already stood in formation to face off against the Knights of Raoundozia players with their 3,717-player army. In this case, the amount of light-clothed players was in bigger portions than that of the KR's main group entirely. Yet, the rest of the 2,331-man army, remains of the GG's main group, were now added to their numbers in light-clothed players more than anything. Which was even better than their initial plans. Yet, it was still unknown how and when would the rest of the KR's players would arrive to attack, so, they had to end this battle before commencing the last one. Or so they thought, completely unaware of the Knights of Raoundozia players who in fact, had already in their heads the motion of this battle being the last one to fight...

At this moment, a small amount of melee-players were positioned all the way in the frontlines while light-clothed players were in the rearguard; namely the north, northwest and northeast sides.

Meanwhile, the 'brutish' main group from the Knights of Raoundozia did not even gave half a thought of getting cold feet, with their heads slightly lowered yet their gazes remaining tightly locked onto the enemy.

It was all night, the vision proportioned by the Guerilla Guild's camp was now dimmed so that it would merely support their own troops' sight, instead of clearing out the darkness overall. Yet, at this moment...

BOOM! Pak-

BOOM! Pak-

Two sounds that were akin to a great clap of an explosion resounded from the east and the west where a contrail of smoke along with some shiny yellow sparks followed the object that was protected from vision thanks to the dreaded night. Then, it opened up with a shabby sound of a defective device not having the expected thunderous result of an explosion, as a lot of smoke came to be in where that seemingly impossible to discern of an object exploded in mid-air.

This was not only seen by the two sides of the armies on the Guerilla Guild territory, but also by the almost battle royal from the team leaders and higher ups from both sides far away from the Guerilla Guild's territory.

-"Now! Move, move!"

-"F-f-fuck, everyone! P-prepare! Receive the enemy!!"

Two cries resounded a few seconds right after the smoky explosion came to everyone's sight; one of them came from the Knights of Raoundozia's side, whose leader was actually the same guy who spoke to Raoundozia after 'winning' that small skirmish from before. After giving the order after seeing the signal, he valiantly moved as the vanguard without a single ounce of hesitation nor fear of blood and massacre.

The second cry was, in fact, a shaky voice from a player who felt the need to do so only because of momentary fear and unknown from those previous and obvious signal. The player who shouted that was obviously from the Guerilla Guild, and it was almost only after 15 seconds that their remaining forces finally started the charge themselves.

However, it was too late, as by the time the first few hundred entered in the proper speed of leading a charge; the remaining few people behind weren't even able to properly start running with the large amount of delay between their ranks and as such, from the forces between the two sides, the first side to lose hundreds of players like they were trampled by beasts was that of the Guerilla Guild.

Not only were the Guerilla Guild's first line of defense obliterated by the hardened and no longer totally inexperienced, but even the following two lines of defenses were quickly disposed of after just 10 minutes of fighting on solid footing!

The light-clothed players from the House of Knights of Raoundozia didn't even had to do much except to heal their brave vanguard. While the Guerilla Guild forces became slightly panicky.

Nevertheless, after the initial 15 minutes or so from being sloppy and no one taking charge in the Guerilla Guild's forces, a team leader finally took the wheel after definitely confirming that their previous leader pretty much failed to survive the unstoppable onslaught. So, the player who was now their leader began to give orders like crazy yet in a calm manner, which after another 5 minutes of employing different tactics and countermeasures, finally gave the GG's side a room for properly fending off their assailants.

Passed time in a battlefield was both arduously long and inevitably fast; 30 minutes went by from the initial assault and, right now; there were 4,455-players from the Knights of Raoundozia side, while the Guerilla Guild was diminished to a 3,157-players. With only a little tiny bit more than 600 remaining melee players to tank the incessant amount of damage, 500 light-clothed players went towards the frontline to make a last support before initiating their cleaning up!

Hundreds of apprentice elementalists made their way to the frontlines and, before the Knights of Raoundozia players could start massacring them, they found out that those apprentice elementalists were mainly driving away the damage from their melee players to themselves and also trying to mitigate it by forming instantaneous barricades of water currents, thin earth walls and even strong gushes of wind.

Seeing that there was finally a good and nice blockade, the team leader from the Guerilla Guild finally made the motion they've been waiting for!

Swish!- BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG- Swish~, swish~, swish~, swish~...

At the fling of their team leader's left arm, the ranged classes stopped targeting a player in particular each, as the archers made a heavy rainfall of arrows directed at the Knights of Raoundozia, while the gun-user were taking out a small magazine or simply reloading the very few bullets at their disposal into their weapons before elevating their own aim a little and shooting all at the same time.

While the arrows flowed downwards towards the 'rest' of the Knights of Raoundozia; and the heavy-looking brown bullets made a slight arch from their ranged-classes positioned line towards the KR players; those light-clothed KR's player at the further back whose weapons were that of a long-distance reach, suddenly threw those weapons away and started to form a type of dance and to make gestures, in practiced synchronization, as water and earth made a huge dome above their player's heads.

Starting from 15 meters above the Knights of Raoundozia's players, a temporary roof in the form of a sphere was formed with the aid of using the Summon of Element: Water and Summon of Element: Earth, making it almost durable and good enough for resisting those incoming projectiles. But that wasn't enough.

Not only did the apprentice elementalists from the Knights of Raoundozia added wind, then fire and finally once again wind to create it durable enough; but there were more and more batches of apprentice elementalists creating even more of such domes/roofs to protect their own heads from the heavy downfall of projectiles of all kinds.

One layer above another, one after the other, the Knights of Raoundozia were successfully protected from the 'sudden' outburst of an attack from the Guerilla Guild's players.

As the spectators saw the team leader from GG say 'no no' with a still face, they then saw him shake a little before being supported by a few assistants of his, who were long-ranged type class players.

After being 'cheered' up with some words and remaining that spectators could not hear, the team leader then finally turned serious once again as he gave those in the rear a great, last glance before gesturing with his left arm to 'follow me!'-like.

. . .

Back on the team battle royale.

Clank-Thrwack!

Baston used his left-handed shield to tank a furiously strong and heavy attack from Raoundozia, but even after he successfully blocked Baston remained in that position, a shadow consisting of Raoundozia's arms and weapon came to be as it furiously imitated Raoundozia's previous action right after his initial attack on Baston.

With the heavy weight of taking upon two attacks with no spacing between them, and with the second one being even more powerful, Baston lost balance for a couple steps. But before he could regain it, a kick sent him tumbling backwards as Raoundozia was already raising his long sword to his right shoulder to cleave Baston in two.

Making a slight cry, Baston twisted his legs, knees and even his waist a little to roll forwards instead of backwards towards Raoundozia. At the end of his roll, he hit Raoundozia on the lower chest squarely with his shield, before making a quick and mild follow with his short sword.

Raoundozia did the same as Baston and, utilizing the force from the shield striking his body, he rolled backwards with his long sword passing to be left-handed by him before sweeping it in a windmill motion towards Baston's head.

Bvreee-Vwlsht~.

With his neck being grazed upon instead of having his head chopped in two disproportionate pieces, Baston evaded that critical attack to an almost fatal attack instead, his HP then flowed down rapidly for a few seconds as both of them took their sweet time to recuperate from that bout.

Before, as he had his short sword already about to finish his powerful thrust, he couldn't turn it back for a parry, let alone to block it. He could only 'fall' with his right feet impulsing him upwards and backwards a little, allowing only part of his neck to take the burden of being hit instead of his entire head.

Meanwhile, Raoundozia was about to make a charge; Baston spiraled with his shield and sword to a stand up. His sun-like shield glowed a strong yellow color as it seemingly gained a layer for protection, Raoundozia arrived at this moment.

Swish~...-Thud!

After being completely blocked from using his skill, Raoundozia proceeded to make a quick attack with his long sword, surprising Baston instead of using his unique skill.

Clank! Clank, clank, Clink!

Only managing to block the first attack, Baston then proceeded to barely parry the following ones; yet, Raoundozia's eyes turned scarily tranquil and composed at that moment.

Tshin~.

From a quick bout of swish and slashes of their swords, Raoundozia's sword and left chest suddenly glowed bright of a rocky-brown color, equal to that of his sword when suddenly...

Bvreee-Vwlsht!

...Baston felt his right, unprotected side be furiously slashed open by a long sword's blade.

With his eyes growing stupendously big, Baston realized that Raoundozia had hidden such an obviously ultra quick and powerful skill just for this moment and that his shield was useless against such almost-ephemeral-like attack. Yet, before he could move away from the next attack, Raoundozia's unique shadow mimicking skill came to be, as it instantly moved into an impossible to evade attack.
