Nature's Endearment
[Harlofk, the Hopeful]: Type: Human, Grade: Legendary, Level: 86, HP: 95,000,000. Harlofk was the young child of the acting chief commander of the Main Kingdom's Regional Forces, this organization at the planetary-level whose genuine chief-commander had disappeared a few years ago since the moment of the arrival of the 'Journeyers' to Main Kingdom. The promising lad whose power exceeded that of even the person recognized as the most powerful human in Main Kingdom at the age of 10, becoming the first Heavenly being born from the human race since time immemorial.
-With your Mental Power, you're able to look further and farther than anyone else. Or so they, and he thought. For as, the moment the acting chief commander, his father, was moving towards the Bright Sunset Division to embark in an investigation that had to do with the strange responses coming from all but one of the sacred beast protectors. Yet, in the middle of their marching onwards to the Azure Dragon Sub-Division, they were ambushed by the numeral forces of unknown 'bandits' and 'thieves' from all angles, effectively creating a great commotion; a distraction. When the acting chief commander wasn't looking and was instead fighting for his own life, alone in the middle of an entire sea of enemies, his son was being targeted by the astronomically powerful enemies that were hiding their appearances as much as they could with extra-developed advanced clothing. Being affected in some way by the schemes of these enemies, the young son who was then 20 years old, could only run as he felt his mind be torn apart continuously and without stop; as he continued to open his eyes to look for possible comebacks, he kept on seeing the images of countless hands wriggling around to hurt him right on his eyeballs. By the time the son woke up from his trance and from his movement that were almost robotic in the sense that he never stopped to even breathe in a different manner even once, he had already gone dozens of thousands of kilometers away. Fearing the unknown of his whereabouts, the unknown of the outcome of the battle where he saw his father -that wasn't nowhere near as powerful in terms of the Human Race as the elites of the Human Race- fight for his life ever so difficulty and unknown on what 'those' people wanted to do with him and for what reason; the young son moved to discover a place that was full of snow and where he found a large amount of stairs that lead to seemingly nowhere. Yet, for the sake of at least having found 'something' from nowhere, the young son went forwards as he was then met with the strange gate encrusted to the mountain.-
-After living in the wild for a while, the young son didn't stop growing ever more powerful as, at some point; he detected traces of life close to him that weren't those of the normal monsters and beasts that he usually encounters. When he sprung to his feet to find this life form, he found her to be a red skinned human-like beautiful, totally naked young woman. Lost in his spirits but still aware of his manner, the young man took his clothes off to offer them to the young female Demon, which she graciously accepted. The rest is history. Over time, the young son would travel from one Region to another to meet the countless hidden Demons on the face of the Main Kingdom, his experience from the real world and not from what his father wanted him to grow up to made him unwilling to go back 'home' as he had already found his own. Lastly, the pair of young couple of husband and wife traveled towards two destinations that brought hope and despair at the same time, to the two of them. The Somber Tree region and the last hope of the Demon Race, the Wish Forging Headquarters. When arriving there, the pair of husband and wife had already been bringing around a little Demon girl with them to which the entire Demon Race finally accepted the young man with their hearts wide open. But, at the moment that they arrived at the Somber Tree region, they left shortly after meeting the overlord of the region; the Somber Tree. Seeing its lifespan already ran out, extinguished and it only being able to remain as a living being thanks to the union of those Demons who chose to remain and die in battle for the imminent, unknown source of danger; the married couple and daughter went away with their faces hung low and their hearts quivering slightly. When arriving at the Wish Forging HQ of the Demon Race, they found out that the rest of their bases all around -the planet- Main Kingdom had been 'sighted' in an unknown way by unknown beings, except for that of the Wish Forging HQ. The news that the Wish Forging HQ was going to be the Demon's last stand in this universe made the married couple lost in grief while the daughter was confused and intrigued at the same time.-
-Yet, the young man was tired of this world, shortly after; his wife fell ill. Leaving the Wish Forging HQ was not out of fear nor cowardice, but because of one sole, little reason, that little Demon girl; his daughter. The day that the young man's wife felled, her essence floated to the source of Main Kingdom to be embraced by the universe, and while he was tearing up in sorrow, the little girl became aware of danger, powerlessness and hatred; escaping from the sight of his father. Like her mother, she had special abilities which allowed her to be hidden even from the prying 'unknown' that had ruined the Demon Race's plans before, which was the only reason of why that little daughter of his disappeared wholly at once. With his heart steeling in sorrow, the young man chose to believe in his daughter that had no longer the need to be taken care of by her parents, and choose his own way of dying. Since there was no way that a gruesome battle could ever be avoided, the Demon Race's situation became one where it seemed to be provoked by racism yet was not the real purpose of the war, not even conquering; it was just sad. As such, the young man whose heart was steeled to accompany his wife in the universe beyond the knowledge of mortal beings, went back to his old hideout to break the promise of not becoming an overlord for the sake of both; humanity and Demon. Returning to the 'Core Elemental Throne' to begin in his journey of dictatorship for the greater good, only to be half-way stopped by two unknown 'Journeyers' that did nothing but be puppeteer-ed around like the best pedigree of dogs!-
Skills: Myriad Involvement in the Universe, Materialization of Particles, All-Out Implosion, Monstrous Potential, Legend of the Human Race, Protector of the Human Race.
[Myriad Involvement in the Universe]: Attacks can deal Elemental damage instead of Physical and Magical Damage whenever Harlofk does a quick and powerful attack with any part of his body. Normal attacks, of any kind, only cause 50% of the highest amount of Defense from the enemy; for an example: higher Physical Defense would incur a damage of Physical Power whose damage would be reduced by 50% before even hitting the enemy. Allowing the raw Physical Defense of the enemy to lower Harlofk's attack even more. Use Rate: Common. Cannot be stopped.
[Materialization of Particles]: Harlofk can make use of the nearby particles from all elements and materials (cannot do so with living beings from the lack of knowledge and practice), granting him the ability to create anything that he wants from the Element that he so desires. He can only form one such creation at once whose quality varies depend on the amount of particles of that same Element are taken in. Use Rate: Slightly Common. Cannot be stopped.
[All-Out Implosion]: Able to make any weapon and equipment's durability to break apart and to be torn by the use of this skill, if the enemy wielding said weapon or equipment is still wielding them while they break completely beyond the possibility of repairing, special effects will be triggered depending on the enemy and its equipment's connection. Use Rate: Rare. Cannot be stopped, cannot be blocked, cannot be parried and cannot be mitigated.
[Monstrous Potential]: Born as an ordinary Human being, Harlofk's potential genius was unearthed when he first killed a monster that had eaten a little girl, at the age of 7. Total HP+200%, total MP+500%, total Stamina+1,000%, Physical Power is capable enough of allowing him in destroying hills with just a few of his punches while his Physical Defense and Magical Defense are enhanced in 7,500 and by an additional total of 15%.
[Legend of the Human Race]: As the carrier of the heavy weight of an entire Race on his shoulders, Harlofk deals 80% Physical Power, Magical Power and Elemental damage to all enemies that aren't a complete Human form, excluding half-Humans. Receives 20% less damage from all enemies that aren't a complete Human form, excluding half-Humans as well as granting him Physical Defense+80% and Magical Defense+80% when against them. This no longer applies to the Demon Race.
[Protector of the Human Race]: Due to the absent of the sacred beast protectors all over Main Kingdom disappearing and no longer engaging in contact with Main Kingdom's inhabitants, Harlofk has had become the last hope for humanity, as such; when confronting another Human being, Harlofk's Physical Defense and Magical Defense are null against them, while also dealing only 50% of his total damage against them. This also applies to the Demon Race.
'Oh well. That was unexpected.' Passing over this information to Yunalesca at once only to proceed to massage his temples in the meanwhile, to which she became totally absorbed into confusion, revealing and shock.
'Ah, so you were clueless, hah.' Looking at her with a side glance, Tongqiu then remembered that he hadn't had checked his Intent hidden stat as before. As such, he closed his eye to wait for the now-typical system prompt to show up and tell him his secrets...
*PING*...host's Mental Power is of 1,098, Intention is of 498 (awaken late) and stolen Essence is of 10.
'Mn, I still don't know much of the hidden stat 'Intention'. I guess... it has something to do with the communication of other beings...?' Like Tongqiu, Harlofk was clearly astounded and frowning at the sight of the distracted by something Yunalesca and the casually rubbing his temples Tongqiu. He was about to speak a line that he thought was okay when his mouth closed again in bewilderment.
"Just who are you people? What have you come to this place, do you even know what you have done in interrupting my doing here?!" His voice was grave, solitary and hurt alright. Even slightly heavy to even hear. Tongqiu ignored the tremble of his White Space as he checked out the young widower closely, which he then made an open of his mouth to casually ask Harlofk carelessly: "Hey, you tell, how old are you now?"
"...29, why." When men meet, well... they don't always talk, but when they talk, they talk!
"Mm." Nodding upwards quite obviously, Tongqiu sounded an 'understood' meaning before falling silent. After a little while, when he sensed Yunalesca's fingers touch his hands of finishing understanding the little story and reading through Harlofk's skills, he opened his mouth to speak again: "So, tell me. Are we against one another-"
But before Tongqiu could finish his words, the young 'legendary' lost Human from Main Kingdom berated in a thunderous reaction: "ENOUGH! If you've come here then it is for a reason! On with it, or do you cowardice even after bathing in the blood of many Demons?!"
'Oh, the philosophical and pitiful type of commentator BOSS, eh? Okay, alright.'
"Cough-ah-ahe-ahem." Clearing his throat, slowly and casually, Tongqiu then sniffed once before taking one step forwards and intended to talk some more: "Can't we just not fight and tal-"
VVFFFMMM!!!
When a sound that ignited deep terror in his heart suddenly emanated from Harlofk's hands which were motioned to clasp and had their fingers against each other.
Yunalesca's eyes opened widely and totally in unexpected alarm, for as she recognized what this was!
"No, Beishang, take this! Ah... promise me to complete this quest." Launching a long dagger over to Tongqiu, Yunalesca opened her little mouth to utter a few words in a pleading tone to which she then ignored without a care and immediately after, positioned herself right in front of Tongqiu as her left hand had already 'pushed' Tongqiu to a side; suggestively.
Frwooo~... BAAAMG!!!
The charging of whatever Harlofk was doing seemingly became complete, and as Tongqiu moved his own body to the side, instinctively and thanks to Yunalesca's left hand, the deafening sound of a huge and utterly decimating laser beam sounded out as a colorful actual laser of 7 different colors manifested from between Harlofk's hands right from where Tongqiu was just at one second before!
'Hng- Miriam!' Tongqiu's eyes further opened up more at the realization of the happenings right now, he extended his arms towards Miriam who was in front of him, but it was already too late.

"Ughk-cough-"
The moment Tongqiu sent both his arms towards Yunalesca, was the same moment that the laser beam of 7 different colors arrived at last at her body, knocking directly against below her ribs in the middle of her torso. The light, mild sound of Yunalesca's body being hit by that laser followed by the sound of her mouth opening to the shock, pain and unbelievable number up her little head was the only thing Tongqiu could see besides his own arms failing to reach her out in time.
"...kah-"
Then another little sound came out from her lips, this time, it was much more painful yet also incapable of even expelling blood from her mouth, as Tongqiu's ears trickled to the sound behind him. For as the next mere instant, Yunalesca's body was flung backwards like a kite whose string was cut off and flew openly to the sky, her head hung slightly as her back was hunched from the impact. Tongqiu's eyeballs rolled as quickly as possible yet his body could move in this seemingly paused image, image that Yunalesca's suffering was too notorious and sudden that his heart felt twinged even with the train of thought of this being just a virtual body.
At that moment, Tongqiu's left hand flashed with an auspicious brown glow, his ring finger being the guilty part for this.
*PING*...host's Relic for the Moon ring's effect has been activated, 50% of taken damage reduced from any source until both host and the Relic of the Light ring's wearer get to safety.
His eyes flashed horrendously fiercely as a single thought emerged in his mind, his muscles tightening and strengthening, even growing slightly in size by a couple of centimeters.
Transient Divine Burst!

Tongqiu's back was engulfed by the same brown, auspicious glow before engulfing him entirely, all the same while the entire world seemed to have come to a momentous halt.
Once Tongqiu's body was engulfed by that brown glow, his body disappeared from the spot as his rib immediately started to feel heated, then hurting, then agonizing! All while a number appeared above his head.

Whoosh!
At the same time, Yunalesca's body appeared where Tongqiu was but, because of the inertia from the unbelievable crash of the colorful laser beam against her front body; she kept on being flung backwards nonstop while Tongqiu remained in the spot without being draw backwards at all!
Then, the number above Tongqiu's head changed once again as the initial collision of the laser was taken by Yunalesca.

Only to change once more as Harlofk's Protector of the Human Race wasn't the only damage reduction that Tongqiu could enjoy!

The astronomical damage of 60,000 went down towards 30,000 when hitting Yunalesca's body; then, it was downed once again by Tongqiu's effect on having his Relic for the Moon ring activated to 15,000 to which Yunalesca survived with barely any HP. And while she was in the midst of being sent back to the still opened gate, Tongqiu's number above his head once again changed in an instant to that 7,500 from his 50% damage reduction upon any type of damage taken.
Tik, tok.
There could be a clock, but there wasn't. And as Tongqiu felt like hearing one right now, Harlofk's face was still serious and stern towards the imminent sight of at least taking out one of the two intruders at once! Yet, Tongqiu could perfectly perceive the ignorance and unneeded bliss from his face while he and Yunalesca were about to suffer even more.
Pu-tong.
It was like the mere sound of a speck of dust falling down onto the ground was heard, and was also taken as the commence of the flow of time on going back to normal.

As Tongqiu was about to take in the still ongoing laser beam head on, Rosey's little body flung to action at this moment, her body diving straight into the colorful laser beam as her HP downed from 45,000 to 60,000 after only 1 second of taking various of such hits at once. Naturally, having only 45,000 total HP and only 3,600 Physical Defense and 3,600 Magical Defense, Rosey couldn't take in the astronomical, absurd amount of continuous damage for Tongqiu as she died right away.
Meanwhile, Yunalesca's body flew backwards terribly fast with the sorry image of her body and her clothes entering into a 'Fix Needed' state already, yet still could wear them out of their insane and unbelievable durability and material. She flew all the way back that she went through the gate as black blood oozed down from the left corner of her mouth, Tongqiu even heard a powerful and striking 'BOOM!!' in the distance. There was no further notification and her icon appeared still not fully grey, so she was fine.
PAM!!
The gate that had just been used once again to cross from one side to another then closed for no reason, making Tongqiu grow even more anxious but, he could only believe in her and trust her own capabilities for her own immediate survival.
Tongqiu then turned around as he noticed that the sound of the laser beam was no longer there, that it had died out while the sound of something very little and fragile fell down to the ground.
As Tongqiu saw Rosey take more damage than she should've been able to, Tongqiu felt his heart stung once more with the sight of her little body falling down back sorrowfully, while Harlofk was only frustrated and taking his hair out directly with his hands from his head.
"FUCK, FUCK, FUCKKK!"
"FU-ugh? Ah, what is..."
But then, as a matter of a miracle and a celestial going down to the mortal realms, Rosey's body was encompassed by the most beautiful of glows from all possible colors, even transparent and those that had other colors but uniqueness to themselves. Like a mob, as a fog or an ethereal cloud, they converged all around Rosey extensively as, not even a full 3 seconds after her HP fell to 0, she stood back up to her feet with a little jump.
"Brr! Ptr~!" Turning her little head to look at the astounded and slightly pale-faced Tongqiu, Rosey mumbled little nothings to him before signaling him to come with her to deal with that bad man.
