Wake Up Call

"Eh, S-Senior...?" Yun Beishang spoke after a little moment of processing the information received from just this one 'little' being's words that were thrown out like candy onto a street, he picked them up and maintained silence before but, he now had to 'deal' with the situation. What could he do? What next? Hence, as Cinders woke up from her stupor and her tears ceased coming out of her lacrimals in a forceful attempt to steel herself, the Carmesí Vermilion Bird looked back down to Yun Beishang as she comforted the two of them; Zyv choose to cross her arms, sit cross-legged on the ground with a fluffy Little Wolfy on her lap while Rosey gazed at the starless night sky in front of her.

"Before you commence, to... allow me to grant my last wish to my apprentice, hers as well... Come here, little one." Still with a clearly tired voice, fatigued or exhausted; it remained completely wasted and out of strength. Which was weird, considering that the simple stomp of its body could already detonate the earth and almost shatter space. Either way, Cinders responded with a light and surprise 'ah!' before getting off her mentor's sickly leg and trotting towards Yun Beishang.

As she arrived before him, she flashed him a cutesy smile before turning around and completely deactivating her mask, she forgot to do so before her mentor as she was quite thrilled to allow the closest person to a direct parent to her to meet him. Then, as soon as she turned around, a red flash went out on her right palm before she then lifted it and prostrated it towards her mentor.

"Ah, I see... mn, I'm glad you've recuperated it. Now, come here and liberate both of your flames... young, new God. Do you mind if you give us another day? Do not worry about her, she is injected with those silly substances of yours so she will be able to take it even if she had to  be in 'our' world for a few weeks." Yun Beishang was looking at Cindy's back as he contemplated the kind of interactivity that one could achieve inside the game; he already knew it was beyond a human's knowledge since he could get his women preggo alright. But he couldn't really tell before that one could just get a... a 'family' in here around just out of the blue; entirely different from what he had been going to, with his horniness that is. However, as he nodded in an 'I know' kind of manner, he realized of the meaning of her extremely specific and intelligent words which, obviously made his jaw want to meet the ground right after.

"What?! How many, for what, eh??"

Seeing him go a bit too crazy, Cinders showed an incredibly refreshing sense of deep care, maturity and great faithful aspirations towards him as she consoled him as quick as she possibly could. "To-ah, B-B-Beishang, ah-ahem. It's alright, have not to worry. Can you please listen to my Mentor? She knows what she is doing and, I trust my Mentor so, please believe in me, please?"

Having his left arm taken by the worried but still so determined Cindy, Yun Beishang stopped blurting out nonsensically, his eyes traveled from her hands to her shoulders, then her neck to her curves... to finally go back up to look at her face. "Ah."

With a single and unnecessary exclamation, Yun Beishang got free of her careful grabbing of his left arm, looked up to the night sky only to also meet the decrepit eyes and expression of the worn out Carmesí Vermilion Bird. With thoughts of 'I just got her back and you already want to cliche the shit out of me, you think I'll just take this while laying down?!', he exasperatedly took in a breath of air with a shaky jaw and contorting upper chest as he then looked down below to the cutesy, alluring and caringly-looking at him Cindy before cupping her face and planting a single, soft kiss on her nose and then her lips; dragging them out of their resting pose thanks to their previous dried out state.

Both of them, feeling the tender meat of their lips connect to one another so carefully and like glue, became self-absorbed as there was no one else but themselves into the deep night and desert, with only the light coming from Cindy's Fire Core Elemental Manipulation flashing here and there around the 5 of them.

After that single kiss, Yun Beishang looked at her azure-lake like green eyes dearly and spoke in his softest of voices, "Mn, alright. I don't know what makes you so adamant towards this, but... I'll allow it, just promise me we will meet each other soon after today, huh?"

Nodding quickly like a rice-pecking chicken and placing most of her lips inside her mouth while giving him the alluring image of her beautiful, finitely shaped nose and her amazingly unique eyes with a tinge of red, Cindy obediently responded to the almost pouting of Yun Beishang. Her visage then turned to that of a girl being favored by their most beloved parent in front of a difficult situation, she then turned around and accidentally bumped her bum to his crotch as well as with her lower back, she was still somewhat silly, ah? She needed the oh so famous training from Yun Beishang, just with what like Diana went through before, mn mn.

"Mentor, may we begin now? Ah, m-ma-ma-make sure to tell him everything that is going to happen, he may already guessed but... just, you know... ayy..." Seeing Cinders become so bashful and embarrassed, Pure nodded off elegantly at the sight, thinking to herself that even at her age she had to deal and see such things from humans again, it was truly comical considering her seniority in front of these 'ants' yet she behaved like a sweet grandma for the sake of her granddaughter ah.

"Yes, yes, I will... Now come here at once, my nap time was interrupted, silly girl." Blushing at her mentor's words, Cindy wordlessly ignored the strange huge, but familiar, object poking her back as she moved towards her mentor. Meanwhile, right at this moment, the Carmesí Vermilion Bird found out that the strange calling of the rest of her existence was coming not just from the man that came as her apprentice's husband but also from that person's... pet?

But, Pure ignored it and simply began to flap her barely feathered red-dark and murky wings with her peak wide opened; seeing this, Cindy proceeded to enshroud her entire body with both of her innately 'given' -?- flames and began to actually float without the use of any skill nor item or even that of a mount. With her body floating up towards the center in front of the Carmesí Vermilion Bird's chest, her eyes ever so slowly closed, as if in the manner of doing so pixel by pixel. Her Fire Core Elemental Manipulation disappearing from the rest of the other's bodies.

Zzzz-cra-a-crack~!

Swish! Swish! Zzzz~!

But, before the effect of the desert they were obviously still in could begin to once again start damaging them for just standing there; and even more powerful presence overwhelmed Yun Beishang and the rest as the previously -100 and so on, became -0 instead.

"Thank you, Pure." Said Yun Beishang, as he could easily tell that this was the doing of Cindy's mentor, at the same time however, the Carmesí Vermilion Bird indicated for them as she spoke her worries and her comforts towards them but specifically towards Yun Beishang himself.

"Is... that girl, who I think she is? After all, only someone like 'you' would be able to not only rescue her from there, but also to bring her with yourself out from'there'. Did you do it? Or did you somehow just happened to encoun-" Yun Beishang didn't waited for the Carmesí Vermilion Bird to end her words, as he waved his left hand at his level waist and stopped her from continuing and said right away. "No, I did it. And I'm also bringing her to take revenge. You need not to worry about it, just leave it to me."

"...Hmm... very well." Talking about Rosey, Yun Beishang wasn't uncomfortable nor offended. Sure, he failed to actually protect her, she received thumping damages and reverted and lost so much of her strength that he would indeed feel pained about it as long as he just slightly thought about it. But it was not necessary to put in on his face, right? In any case, the Carmesí Vermilion Bird didn't mind him calling her Pure, let alone 'making it clear' to her in this manner. She then, nodded slightly, Cindy's body began to be engulfed by ordinary but bright and resplendent red flames starting from the shoulders. She said to him while speaking, her voice neutral but her eyes dangerously narrowed. "This path of yours is not truly yours, but you can take it. Even then, why take it? Are you really willing, or do you just not even know what to do for yourself? Oh, see that wooden house? Take it, stop making me lose concentration or she might lose this immense opportunity. As for the matter of achieving your current goal on trying to meet me... talk about it later, hmph! You're so weak still. Tch..."

It could not be more than obvious that the Carmesí Vermilion Bird's words were simply against him and that, her words were even then still somewhat understanding. Not believing much of her childish retorts, as Yun Beishang saw that Cindy's body which was already half-engulfed in those 'ordinary' red flames moved even a tiny wee since they started 'conversing' like this. Still, he understood what she meant and was simply asking him to wait on the shabby wooden house behind her as she worked her magic to aid Cinders on... well, whatever she was doing and for whatever Cinders was aspiring for it to do. But, was he really that weak? Well, he believed it, 500,000,000 HP weren't little. He already had trouble with the Azure Dragon who had much less than that, if it wasn't for Rosey, he might've gone weak himself before barely defeating it. At that point, who knew if he would've been able to do the same as he did to the Azure Dragon Main City or not.

But, thinking back to her inquiring words, Yun Beishang didn't took it badly as he instead responded with calm towards the immense being before them. "I do have my own things ongoing, I just need time for them-"

But Yun Beishang wasn't able to finished her words when the majestic voice echoed once again thorough the surroundings few kilometers, but directed only at him. "Relying on time is foolish, if you keep relying on time, time will kill for you. And not at all be on your side, time... has showed me that, too."

Yun Beishang fell silent for as he thought himself good enough to speak of 'plans' towards such an ancient creature whose experience outshines that of his for at least a few couple millions of times, he bowed ever so slightly in a manner of saying 'I'm sorry' and then changed his stance to that of a junior, responding politely. "Then, let me rephrase it please. Though I do have my own things already set on motion, I am not that capable. Even if I fail, I do not want to put even one strand of the hair of any of my people in peril for myself. It's okay if I die, trying, but I'm not bringing anyone with me, not even... her."

"Hmm..." Pure responded, signaling for Yun Beishang to just continue.

"As for matters in this... 'world', I'm doing it as fast as I can! I can't move as fast as I would like to, and I can only move on foot in case some NP-citizens of this world find me as an enemy and report me to the 'city lords' of the Sub-Divisions; of the Bright Sunset Region at least. For I at least know that I haven't been a bad boy to any other Region, heh." Pure changed her visage as she looked sternly at Yun Beishang, she thought of the foolishness of his words and ignorance, but also felt that he wasn't being serious on the matter. If anything, he didn't place his 'virtual' life, as she has heard of it from her apprentice, on any one of those city lords but he also didn't wanted to try and take them all out. What was the way one could call a person like him? Pseudo-ignorant? Half-foolish and half-dumb?

In any case, Pure gave him the very same kind of stern glance at Yun Beishang before sending out her majestic voice onto their surroundings. "Do you really think that this world is normal, or that it would be fine as long as you don't meddle in someone else's territory? You must not. I have to die, and you have to help my apprentice, only knowing that you're capable would I then die to help you as well. Or do you really think that you are THE Evil God already? No, little ant. You are but one miserable fuck whose luck couldn't be better. As for the indeed fake 'city lord' that you just killed? Did you saw my apprentice care about it? That bastard sacrificed most of his naked guards to sent them down towards my destroyed chambers and took my most precious last speck of dust of life that I am now giving to her with my heart wide opened. Look at me, waited for time; I saw my family slowly degrade from majestic Vermilion Birds into pure ashes with not even their Essences dispersing on the thin fabric of existence. I was weak, I was disadvantaged; and for it, I almost failed to survive as myself and not as THEIR puppet."

"I brought myself up, and decided to live my last few thousands of years in this little piece of land. And, when the day came to face my death, the world would have had faced my wrath, I would've had everything in this Sub-Division burnt to the crisp of the void in honor to my ancestors, and to the universe. But it then happened, all these 'strange' occurrences and then the world was... digitized. But I also then... found her." Pure looked back down at Cindy, and her gaze radiated the same way in which a mother gazed at their children, she ten continued in an unmistakably forlorn, hopeless tone. "And now, as the rest of Main Kingdom suffers under the rule of their so-called city lords, the world is being besieged and slowly cracked open. They are ready, but you aren't, don't you think is so late?"

Turning her enormous, gigantic head to look once again at Yun Beishang, Pure's eyes flashed, a fervent, incandescent and out-of-this-world-like flamy glint passed over them as she continued in an imperious voice. "Show me what you can do, young God. Show me where have you reached up to for now. Once I have finished giving her my all, I want you to use your Executor, and place my Essence and strength onto you. If you can't even do that, then forget it, just treat it as a shame and go away to look for the rest of the Sacred Beast Protectors, knowing that you will never accomplish her wish for you to become what she couldn't. To let down everyone else... Go now, don't bother me anymore."

As soon as her words fell, her body began to powerlessly fall down onto the ground, without a care for what was under her as she created massive rumbling sounds and awful trembles for a long while.

THUD-THUDTHUDTHUD-THUD-THUDTHUD!!

RUMBLE RUMBLE RUMBLE~~~~!!

WHOOSH WHOOSH WHOOSH~!

Yun Beishang only saw the Carmesí Vermilion Bird's body plummeting onto the ground, her sickly legs were the first to fall down powerlessly, followed by her stomach and then her wings. At the end of her tantrum, she layed with her wings covering the entirety of her back as she layed flat on her stomach on the ground whose cracks were so immense that it would make anyone believe that quite a few buildings made of gold fell down there consecutively should the Carmesí Vermilion Bird no longer be there. Pure's head was being supported by the chin on her wings as her stomach somewhat caved in on the ground; her head was positioned good enough to look at Cindy who was now fully covered by those ordinary but bright red flames, her gaze was affectionate but also sad. However, there was a small discrepancy of colors as an incredible small oval-shaped object of stronger and blinding red and orange flames was positioned on the right side of Cindy's chest.

Noticing these changes and how there wasn't a single error in the process, Pure rested her eyelids for once while completely not giving one fuck about the existence of Yun Beishang and the others.

With a bitter smile, Yun Beishang lead his party onto the shabby wooden house. One day was it? One day it is then, even if it sounded illogical and absurd, for Yun Beishang who was already experienced so much in Rising Essence; this was normal. Eh, yeah, this was okay.

As Yun Beishang was the last to enter the shabby wooden house, just as his back was about to disappear from the sight of anyone's naked eye into the house, Pure's eyelids opened as her head moved to look back at the house and more specifically, at the door who was now being crossed over by him. Her eyes illuminated brightly, an ordinary red color but with brightness and a purifying added to it that made it immensely beautiful; a plethora of small globes of any colors and even any mix of colors, appeared on her pupils, iris and sclera from both her eyes all the same as worship emerged from them as well.
