The Last Battle (3—Last Part)

Yun Beishang took this chance to take a real look at the structure behind the huge Demon who was easily between 80 to 100 meters tall, and as he did, the thing's information popped up in his retinas. The name alone created huge waves in his brain, while its description gave him a reckoning of sorts, as if total destruction was about to arrive, descend and engulf all of Main Kingdom.

[Defense Against the Gods Tower]: Type: Tower Structure, Grade: ???, Durability: 1T, Properties: With your vast Mental Power and status as the Evil God, you are able to see through the fog enshrouding this structure, as well as receive information directly from it in the form of cries for help. Made by one of the last almost a being of the Myriad Races that were witness to the destruction of the Universe, pain and torment are abundant in, within and all around this tower as it holds the deepest of sorrows and hatred. It can grow to become a life saver for an entire Kingdom that it’s in its ruins to rejuvenate to impossible levels, but only if used in the right hands.

“Okay everyone, get ready! We’re taking this one and then get the break we damnly deserve!” Bason spoke out while giving the tired Bellar an assault rifle, his voice resonating through everywhere as he turned to look at an eyes widened Yun Beishang. “Tongqiu? What’s the… matter?”

“Umm, nothing.” Answered Yun Beishang, before then turning to look at Baston and added in a casual and even deadpan tone, “I won’t be fighting, I will help whenever a skill of hers is being used. That being said, I can’t interrupt all of her skills, so the heartstopping one, you should just know tons of us will die. Take care of it quickly, go.”

“Oh…” Baston became surprised, never expecting him to ‘quit’ as of right now but, when remembering every time that he or anyone else was met with a way too young Demon and how an arrow came its way to be the evildoer instead, Baston nor anyone else said nothing at all and merely acknowledged Yun Beishang, “Mn. We’ll count on you, so you can trust us.”

After saying so, Baston left with a team consisting of all the remaining incredible players and those pro or elite players that didn’t die in the skill of the first Curse of the Myriad Races. Among them, Selina sent him a flirtatious glance before groping her own breasts and licking her own lips at him.

‘...oh boy.’ Feeling hungry, Yun Beishang thought that even at these times, he could still be ‘in the mood’ to do anything, eh. He really wondered if he was some kind of sex monster, if his body was like an incubus of sorts and so on, it wasn’t normal that he had such… ‘affinity’ with the act of coituous.

At the same time that Journeyers began to charge towards the Sacrificial Demon Puppet that is now fully in control of Adorevia, the shadowy entities took advantage of the current success of events to take control of it and began to start forcefully changing altogether the Defense Against the Gods Tower’s nature into a Life Essence leech that would implode, making certain, but many, places abounding with life to transform into a plage that although only lasts for a few dozens of seconds and is incapable of harming sentient, self-conscious or intelligent beings, it drains all surrounding ecosystems across all of Main Kingdom.

When seeing, ‘hearing’ and understanding these procedures; Yun Beishang, instead of doing something about it, took a deep breath in soundlessly and held it for as long as he could and started to move his head up and down while slowly and then continuously breathing in and out.

Before long, as he was feeling his head and shoulders start trembling from the pressure, Yun Beishang then tranquilized himself while still being mostly affected by these things and some others at the same time, for long, long periods of time.

Yun Beishang closed his eyes and rested them, his nose made fluctuations with is nostrils and skin of its bridge every now and then, here and there as well as he slowly walked from left to right and vice versa.

At the same time, the Journeyers up ahead had already taken the first few blows coming from the Demon Adorevia, more specifically, her fists. As she sent a couple of them right downwards, instantly killing 20 players but failing to take out Baston, who instead remained composed with his shield high up and a couple dozens of players shooting at her from behind himself.

Yun Beishang, not really wanting to do so very much, opened his ‘eyes’ to sense the Demon that Adorevia now was, he took his information into his brain directly as well; also without really wanting it to happen though.

[Sacrificial Demon Puppet, Adorevia the Last Tree Elf]: Type: Puppet(Half-Demon and Half-Tree Elf), Grade: Mythical, LV: 150, HP: 68,000,000,000…

“! Ugh…” Twisting his neck, Yun Beishang felt hurt as he read through her ‘information’ at a single ‘gance’, his head was leaned over to his back and his right with his eyes closed tightly, his left hand place before his stomach as if to stop something from continuing on to himself; directly inside his head.

Feeling really hurt, and not capable of withstanding it, feeling disgusted and insulted at seeing her information like this and so inhumanely. Which was utterly different to when he looks at whatever he could of Tonkia and his other womens’ statuses and information as Inhabitants of Main Kingdom. Because instead of feeling warmer and a bit silly in ‘reading through’ them like this, he felt the deepest of humiliations for Adorevia to be seen like this.

And he was sure that everyone else that got attacked or attacked her in a party were also able to see this side of hers, ignorantly and unaware. Meanwhile, even more of such people were coming from behind him and headed towards the Demon Adorevia as she took more and more players out and as many more healers were about to be crushed by another Curse of the Myriad Races.

At this moment, Demon Adorevia had her hooves and goat-like legs shine a bright blue before turning devilish red; demonic. Seeing this, Yun Beishang gulped twice, the second gulp being soundless as he took out his Half-Divine Mind-Sensory Pseudo-Artifact already transformed into a Short Bow.

Creak~.

Whistle!

Pulling the bowstring halfway and then letting it go, 3 arrows encompassed by a shining silver-platinum color went out as Omnipresent Cosmo Epsilon Shot was effectuated along with his own ordinary basic attacks.

-256,410, -256,410, -256,410.

Violet numbers appeared once more, signaling none other than Yun Beishang’s intervention as they then directly heard his voice ring out at the same time that those arrows hit 3 meters above each knee of the Demon Adorevia and at 1.2 meters below her navel.

“Hit there! Hurry up, those melee players better choose the higher spot, it is weaker of Physical Damage there but also has strong resistance to ranged attacks, the knees are whatever, but they should be targeted by magical and ranged classes more.” Their eyes shone as most melee players, be it from originally melee classes or from other classes that the players themselves turned into melee chose to attack the spot below the navel.

On the other hand, those who didn’t found themselves endlessly hit by their own allies’ attacks as they were not harmed but also not only stopped certain projectiles and bullets or even rockets from hitting the spots, but also had no chance to attack on their own from the extreme motions of their bodies at being hit for hundreds of player at the same time.

“Idiots, do as Tongqiu says! Even if it shouldn’t be a problem, that would be because of his own skills, not yours!”

“Yeah! Do you think you can compare to him, hm?!”

Many players directly lashed out at some of the melee players that fucked up just now, especially to those who learned nothing and tried to do the same, and hence, the same thing happened once more. They never stopped shooting or firing their magic spells at it thought, making sure that whatever was incoming wouldn’t be successful on the BOSS’s part.

After a bit more of berating and yelling, things got smoother but before long, the already incoming Curse of the Myriad Races came to be, and instantly annihilated still almost a whole thousand players at once.

“Aaahhh, damnit!”

“So unlucky, aaah.” Before fully dying, some Journeyers lamented the loot, experience and SP as well as Fame as they fell to the AOE op as fuck skill of the Demon Adorevia. And even though they were like this, it could only be because they didn’t know how immensely strong the skill actually was.

‘If they knew that it can target even already very strong willed people overall and make them fall to this ‘curse’, to the point that maybe even a veteran of an expedition on New Earth would also easily be vanquished.. I wonder if that’ll make them feel better?’

Nevertheless, Yun Beishang didn’t opt to give them this bit of comfort as it wasn’t needed, be it so because of the current situation that was just not fair for one side while the other still fought without worrying for their lives and even still had the heart and mindset to think of the benefits more than the lore itself; so as to say.

Because they weren’t worthy, and because of the fact that it wouldn’t matter anyway as only he could read through them like this thanks to his incredibly vast Mental Power. Because, even as he could read them thanks to his Evil Saint, Immortal and now God—though ‘sealed’—class, only those with a high Mental Power for the current state of the game would be able to truly read through the important mentions and the like.

Whistle, whistle, whistle~!!

Suddenly, every Journeyer felt their ears tickle as they flinched ever so slightly and naturally in instinct. The familiar sound of hundreds of objects in movement sounded out as players looked at one another with big eyes and deformed mouths wide open. One to another, they were all thinking to themselves, ‘we’re about to be blown away, again!!’; as they then did blow away by the incoming Tongqiu’s Rain Destruction without Cosmo Shot.

SHCK-BBPAM SHCK-BBPAM SHCK-BBPAM SHCK-BBPAM SHCK-BBPAM SHCK-BBPAM SHCK-BBPAM SHCK-BBPAM SHCK-BBPAM…

While they were flying away ‘gently’ by the out-of-this-world explosions that weren’t harming nor afflicting any status to themselves; Journeyers saw the direction in which they were flying and then exploding towards to mainly. The Demon Adorevia was holding her claw-fang hands to the front of her lower sternum as immense bright light green began to emanate from between her 3 cone-like fingers and her upper tummy.

Soon, they saw her heal up 5% of her HP, though not many could catch on that as they were too astounded to see a green number appear on top of her head high above in the sky. However, as the arrows flew in her direction and hit her on the lower stomach, as strange current went from her navel to her lungs, sternum and shoulders like a lightning bolt under her skin with a dull blue color to which she reacted strongly in painful grimaces.

Her HP lost 2.5% in total as the players felt like not everything was lost!, of course, the damage that they had done to her in a bit of 10 minutes wasn’t even that of 1%, but they still saw those huge numbers appear, so they could more or less gain hope from the moral that this action brought them. Besides, now she had 97.5% HP instead of 99% HP!

+3,400,000,000.

-1,700,000,000.

Because, even as the BOSS was a Mythical grade, something that not even Yun Beishang dared to take head on, and was even LV150 and it should be totally impossible to hit it with the 40 levels in difference even more so since these players weren’t like Tongqiu who even before gaining his Hawkeye Essence could still manage to land quite a few hits.

There seemed to be something holding back the BOSS that is Demon Adorevia, to which she was definitely entangled with either mentally or… spiritually, because even though Yun Beishang could fucking know what was going on since he was nowhere near the level to face a Mythical BOSS—or being—without Rosey and his revival skills.

That, along with the previous buffs given to the Journeyers from the Guiding Voices’ part, allowed them to not only be successful in most of their hits, but to at least also have some damage dealt to Demon Andorevia.

Through the entire ordeal, Demon Adorevia was mostly expressionless, but whenever she was to deal a blow that was a ‘main basic attack’ she would turn extremely fierce wearing the face of her beloved with pain, before then blasting into gore the many Journeyers around her that just wouldn’t stop flocking to her and keep on trying to damage her.

In at an all times during the fight, Demon Andorevia seemed distracted too, but not because of the same reason that Yun Beishang knew of, but because she didn’t even seemed willing to fight the players and was instead constantly advancing.

Whenever her hands would be raised back up again in front of her sternum with her forearms and wrists to the sides of her ribs, Yun Beishang would attack her mercilessly and cutting in half the HP recovered.

Which, at some point, was worthy since the Journeyers attacking her had already reduced up to 11% HP; at the same time though, many more uses of the skill Curse of the Myriad Races was effectuated and killed already almost ten thousand lot of Journeyers alone without counting those she took out herself with her ordinary blows or some skills.

At times, she would start glowing, and only magical classes would be unafraid to attack her as any attack she received that had Physical Damage would be returned to the attacker and all those around the attacker in a radius of 1,000 meters back a hundredth fold.

Indeed, such skill was utterly up when activated. There was even another one where in which she would fly up 30 meters above the ground level for a few minutes with her arms in a semi T-pose and her head thrown back, her back arched out and her mountainous—now with the size of medium-sized hills of New Earth—breasts pointing either west and east or north and west; derivatives as too.

Nevertheless, only the magical classes and some—most—awkward melee classes would enjoy the sight as they either touched their own in wonderment or simply gazed in momentary worship while the rest had to attack her, as that skill allowed her to block 90% of the incoming damage but from which did the same as before with the Physical Damage but with Magical Damage instead.

It was just a bit less of damage dealt to Demon Aderovia though, as the basic attacks and some skills of most ranged classes could be used at the sametime or in quick succession without needing to wait for each cast or channeling of each skill in-between.

Naturally, there were also some melee classes that could take a hop into the air or use a skill to reach up above, or even just by being sent over by the few magical classes, some even used a Soul Pet Immortal’s flying huge Pets to be ‘escorted’ up there after a lot of effort from them as they obviously couldn’t fly with other people on their backs nor by carrying them.

But at the same time, Demon Adorevia wasn’t idle as she would being using terrifying winds to bash at those below her armpits on the ground and in midair, only those extremely close to her that were walking and crawling on her body were capable of not being hit by them. While at teh same time though, those male players who went over to the breasts or other parts were instantly incinerated by a more than angered, thunderous and mightiest heavenly punishing lightning that they’ve never seen before so overwhelming and powerful before.

And even as those male players were caught by the largest and thickest and scariest heavenly lightning of punishment, the Demon Adorevia’s body was fully intact and was even smirking whenever that happened, as her eyes flashed an electrifying and pure white that resembled the lightning form the heavens but from another source entirely.

In Yun Beishang’s point of view, it was not only comparable to the Celestial White Tiger, but even stronger to unbelievable degrees and much more older, ancient; well developed and evolved to, once again, levels of comprehension he was fully helpless to understand to.

Nevertheless, whenever this was happening, as well as some other skills, they were all witnessed by Yun Beishang as he calmly looked at her go and as the players destroyed her body little and little by even less and less. With wounds appearing all over her skin, they healed mostly and only left a superficial wound that still bled slightly.

In this manner, she appeared to do her best to survive and achieve her dreams, but seemed to rather be utterly interrupted, blocked from the path of freedom and ostracized from keeping on walking forward towards an unknown direction.

Direction which even Yun Beishang had no idea where it was, because sometime she seemed to walk away from the Defense Against the Gods Tower, and sometimes seemed to try going back at it, only to turn around several more times in completely different directions.

Almost as if she was playing with fate, them, and the up above Guiding Voices, shadowy entities… the Gods!

There were even times that made Yun Beishang’s eyes widen fully, and each time it happened, it caught him by surprise. Foras the devilishly and ravishingly beautiful Demon Aderovia was to walk in his direction and smiled at him in such a beyond one’s sight-kind-of-way that only he could notice with his very own eyes without needing the use of is own HIdden Stats.

Also, whenever she used her self-restorating skill, she would face Yun Beishang no matter if it was better for her or not, to either safeguard herself against Yun Beishang or the Journeyers. No matter what, she would face Yun Beishang. And at some point, the Journeyers, without Yun Beishang’s commands nor even by asking him; took advantage of very schemingly.

Slowly, oh so slowly, the rest of the few, very few tens of thousands of Journeyers descended to a number of just 7; without counting Yun Beishang himself.

And oh so very slowly in the exact same manner, Adorevia, the one and only; last Tree Elf and also as the last physical form of the unknown female Demon as the Sacrificial Demon Puppet… has her HP lower to the Critical state.

Let It Rain's Note: A thing of beauty - I know~...

I felt like Adorevia should remain as humane as possible, without digitizing every single bit of her...
