"Mother, why are there so many powerful people around Master?" Salia asked as the carriage stopped and they stepped out of the carriage. At the gate were the two known as the Black One, and the Seer.

"Because Master made us strong." The Seer said with a soft smile. "Your death element is strong, so the younger weaker ones will need to stay away. I hope you do not mind, Sol." Sol nodded.

"Sensible. What about Symi?" She asked, albeit she was a bit unsure now that she was here and could feel the immense strength of her Master, even though she now slumbered.

"When she was brought here, Master was on the verge of hibernation. She had not had a chance to strengthen her properly. When you see her, you must hold yourself back, or your death element will overwhelm her inherent life energy. She won't have time to develop her own element to protect herself." Alara said, at which her sister nodded.

"My sister is correct, Sol. How far have you gotten in your reinforcement?" Ivadra gestured for the pale, but attractive woman to precede them inside.

"My arm." Sol sighed a bit.

"Master only recently told us about body reinforcement being the first real stage. Once you fully saturate your body, you'll transform, and move to the next proper realm." Alara said with a grin. "I am almost there, as are the others. Only Ellie, the one Master entrusted Symi to, and Ava, are not as far along." Alara stopped suddenly.

"What's wrong?" Sol asked. Alara turned.

"Be cautious. You have the death element, and the one nearest to Master right now is Nuri, a life element user. She's quite protective of Master, and at the transformation point. She has so much life element that she could overwhelm your death element." She looked at Salia. "Your daughter is well behaved, but doesn't have your devotion to Master. Don't let her insult her accidentally." Sol nodded slowly.

"I see what you mean. Life and death are at odds." The ladies then rolled their eyes as they felt the temple shift a bit.

'Untrue, Sol.'

"Master?" Sol asked, and turned towards Salia. She noted the fear in her daughter's eyes.

'Death is a part of Life, just on the opposite side. Life begins from where death left off, and death begins where life leaves off. Both are necessary. You are my Queen of Death, while Nuri is the Queen of Life. Do you understand?' She asked, and once again, the temple seemed to move a bit.

"I understand, Master. Um, Master, why did the temple seem to move just now?"

A pair of eyes appeared within all their minds, even all of her daughters. The intense scrutiny felt like someone had picked them up, and looked them over. Not only that, it also felt like someone took a good look through their minds.

'My elemental affinity is stronger. I am still adjusting. Come, Sol. Bring your daughter to me. I must take a good look at her.' Aila said, which made a wind gust lift Salia a few inches off her feet.

'That wasn't supposed to happen. Hurry, Sol. I am tired.'

"Salia, come close to the bed. I will take your mother to see her other daughter, Symi. Do not fret. She will be fine, as will you. Master is not cruel." Salia lowered her eyes.

"Mother said she may not like how we feed." She said softly, and was once again lifted off her feet by a wind gust. She was carried right over to the bed and set down on her feet, which made the girl quite startled.

'Nuri, rein in your element. Don't let it leak. Her death element can not harm me.' Nuri sighed and brought her life element under control.

"Salia, Master said that life and death need each other. I find it difficult to rein myself in as I've seen death as an enemy in the past. Please forgive me." Salia was a bit surprised, but nearly fell when she felt a force press inward on her mind.

'Hm, quite a lovely mind you have, little one.' Salia was more then surprised when she felt the intrusion. 'I see. I was right to trust my Sol. She would never love girls who were cruel. Yes, I know your little sister has to eat fresh, so I do not blame her.' Salia felt a bit humbled by the experience.

'M-Master? Are you sure you don't blame her?' Salia asked.

'Death is a part of life. Her meals would not live beyond that moment, and have died long ago.' Salia blinked as she felt a mental tap on the nose. 'Just help her to understand that humans do not feel the pleasure I gave you.'

'You gave us this?'

'A gift for my Sol. Death isolates, but pleasure brings intimacy. Intimacy can help her to endure the centuries that her element allows her. Now, let me set this up properly. Ah, good. Sol taught you well. Pure death elements, with no waste residues. Excellent.' Salia swooned as an altar formed inside her space.

'I don't wish to isolate you, your sisters, or Sol. Until everyone advances passed the initial transformation, and you learn to seal your element firmly inside your bodies, you'll need to stay away from the temple. Can you handle that, Salia?' The gentle voice brought tears to her eyes.

'Yes, Master. I will teach my sisters well.'

"Mom!" Symi yelled excitedly. Sol smiled sadly as she saw her daughter, and how she now looked a bit healthier. It was obvious that her Master had brought Symi forward in time to where she could be cared for properly.

"Baby, I still leak death elements. I just wanted to see your face, and know you were okay." Symi sniffed.

"Are you leaving?" Symi asked.

"No, baby. Master brought me here. She said that once I learn, I can spend some time with you. Who is this with you, baby?" Sol asked, as she noticed how the girl wasn't as strong as the others around her Master.

"Ellie!" She grinned. "She's nice to me, mom. Also, I have lots of people to play with. Ava, and Alara, and Ivadra as well. They treat me really good, and feed me lots of food! I get to sleep in a big bed, and they hug me good night!" Symi said, but her face turned somber. "When can we hug, mom?"

'Sol, hug her. I'll suppress your death element for a short period, but any longer, and it will put too much pressure on your space. Once you transform, you can seal your element for short periods on your own.' Sol let a tear roll down her cheek.

"Master said she sealed my death element, but only for a few minutes, baby. Come here. Let me hug you while I can." Symi ran over, and was hugged tightly.

"Mom, why do you feel so cold?" Symi asked.

"Death element, baby. It makes me cold. Later, when I get stronger, I'll be able to hug you more often." She grimaced. "Time is up, baby. Go back to Ellie." Symi sighed, and lightly kissed her cheek before she ran back across the room.

"Take care of my baby, Ellie." Sol said softly.

"I will. Master would be upset if Symi was injured, or sad." Ellie looked at Sol carefully. "There are people in the nearby kingdom. Bad people who hurt Ava, poisoned her from a young age. Stole her from her parents, and passed her off as a princess so they could steal power. There are a lot of traitors there." Sol's eyes flashed briefly.

"Thank you, Ellie. My daughters and I will go on a little bit of a hunt." Sol turned and left, and felt a small murmur inside her mind.

'I hadn't intended on telling you. The king is a fool, while the grandfather is crafty. Surrounded by enemies, and still wanted to see if his son had the stones to be a good king. Instead, Ava paid the price of the queen's ambition.' She felt Aila's anger flare.

'There are only the queens that I set! Show her what the Queen of Death can do!' Sol smiled and shivered. Her Master was asleep, in hibernation, yet her mind wielded so much power, she sent waves of elemental energy in all directions.

Pure energy composed of all the elements. Once thought to be only a fairy tale of boys who longed for strength to fight their enemies, this energy had one name that made all practitioners hunger for its strength. All that wanted to wield this strength also feared others might wield it as well.

The one element that encompassed all. The power of the Void.

There are four more chapters to be released before the new updated version is released.  While these older chapters may seem like spoilers, they only give the general outline now, and don't tell the full story.  I hope everyone will continue to read the updated version.
