I bought an IC card at the machine Hana pointed.

Not surprisingly there was an English language translation option there, including other languages.

"How much is it?"

Hana peeped beside me and stared at the screen.

"500 yen"

"oh"

"You don't know that?"

I asked suspiciously.

"My mom bought mine for me"

"I see...well.."

"what?"

"Can you move a bit? All I can see is your head."

"Ah sorry"

I tapped the screen a few times, then a white card came out, there was a bit of color green on it also and a little penguin on the side.

"Wait"

When I turned around to leave, Hana stayed put and called out to me.

"hm?"

"What about your change? it hadn't come out"

"Ah no, I don't have any change left"

"You...put 20,500 yen there earlier...ah.."

She looked at me as if she realized.

"Let's go"

We walked to the automatic ticket gates.

"You deposited a lot"

Hana murmured.

"Uhuh. The maximum amount was 20,000 yen...so yeah, that way I don't have to re-charge for a while..."

"I don't think it'd only be "for a while"."

"Yeah, you're right"

I chuckled, maybe I'd only get to use the card a few times, considering Uncle Chen drives the car, the motorcycle is also there.

I placed the card on my phone case.

Hana who was looking at me asked.

"Why not just put it on your wallet, you have one right? I saw it."

"Yeah, I do, but I can't"

"Why?"

"My wallet has RFID protection"

"hmm"

Hana nodded her head in understanding.

"You can go first"

"Okay"

Hana passed the ticket gate first, after touching the card on top of the card reader for a second.

After her, I followed, copying what Hana did earlier.

The train doors were opened and we went inside.

As expected, there was a lot of people, probably going home, after all, it's already 8:00 pm when I glanced at my watch.

"Over there"

I pointed my chin at a vacant seat.

Fortunately there was one, although a bit cramped.

When she looked over, she said,

"No it's fine"

"Just sit"

"What about you..."

"I can stand, hurry, or it'll get occupied"

"Yes..."

I grabbed a handgrip as I faced the sitting Hana.

The two shopping bags on my right hand slid all the way to my forearm.

"Give it to me"

Hana reached out.

I gave the two paper bags and placed it on her lap, while I continued to hold the other bags left.
