CHAPTER 17: INTENSE BATTLE AT THE CAFETERIA

“Hello? Hello? Damn it!! Captain Xu!!” The sweet looking girl who was on the other end of the phone call shouted and left the room soon.

A Laser suddenly flashed across as Mo Fan ran away from the direction of exit! 

Boooom~~

The door was blasted apart viciously the instant the laser impacted on it. Mo Fan dodged it again, but now he was away from the exit. He looked at the Colossal Eyed Ape Rat with fear, it was going to shoot another beam at him.

 Its intense roaring was particularly fierce in the air of the Night school campus. 

The huge eye contracted as the red Piercing beam shot forth mercilessly towards his direction. 

_Shit!!_ Mo Fan thought and quickly moved side ways.

“Damn it! How is it able to shoot out lasers so many times without break?” Mo Fan cursed and dodged it but suddenly noticed that the creature went on the move as it suddenly exploded towards him with his sharp and muscular four limbs. 

It was around 40metres away from him, but it didn’t even took it 2 seconds to reach Mo Fan’s place! It was able to accelerate so easily with that huge body.

Mo Fan’s body tensed up as he tried to run away from the spot. Forget about casting magic, he was not even able to connect his stars under the enormous pressure.  

The Colossal Eyed Ape Rat slashed his claws towards Mo Fan’s direction viciously. He was not able to dodge this one in time. 

“AAAARRGHHH!!!!!” He screamed in pain as blood poured out from his back. There were three huge slash marks on his back. The wound was bleeding and every time it touched with the t-shirt he was wearing, he felt an indescribable pain and burning sensation from his back. He writhed in pain on the ground with tears in his eyes, he had not suffered this type of injuries in his whole 16 years of life. He quickly cast a glance to the Monster even in such a situation. He noticed it was deliciously licking it’s claws which were covered in his blood. 

He felt anger boiling inside him as he tried to connect the stars again. The rat beast was taking its time hunting it’s prey, like a cat playing around with the mouse before eating him. 

Normally Mo Fan was able to connect his Stars and cast magic in just a second, but when he was faced against a magic beast in a life and death situation with no one around to help him, he now truly understood that all his efforts from before was nothing but compared to shit. He was not able to connect even the third star properly. Ten seconds had already passed, yet no magic was fired. 

He was constantly crawling away from the magic beast even while being in intense pain. The beast stopped licking it’s paws and cast another glance at the pitifully crawling Mo Fan. It’s pupil contracted, Mo Fan felt terror looming on his back as he cast a glance behind him. 

His body tensed up as he noticed that the Magic Beast was going to fire another laser at him. He quickly stood up forgetting the pain and ran with all his might as a red coloured laser exploded out of the eye of the Magic beast which was looking in his direction.

Mo Fan turned his head back as he saw the red laser approaching him swiftly, he luckily tripped on a chair which was lying down in front of him and fell to the ground as he dodged the laser miraculously!

He covered his head with both his hands as the death beam passed from just over his head! His left hand was bleeding as part of it touched the laser.

“No I can’t win, I have to leave now!” Mo Fan who saw the laser passing by from so close to him could literally feel it’s heat. He now completely lost his will to fight and was only concentrating on getting out of there as soon as possible.

The Rat beast jumped on a table and watched Mo Fan gloatingly as he tried to run in an injured state.

Gugugu~

It was laughing at him. Mo Fan who watched this felt humiliated and angry at the same time. His back was against the glass separating the kitchen and dining area. 

He broke the glass with a chair lying around and entered the kitchen again. The Colossal Eyed Ape Rat was watching the human’s comical actions in front of him. It did not give chase immediately as it knew he was not dangerous at all.

It’s pupil contracted as it was going to fire another laser at him. 

Mo Fan knew that it was going to fire another laser at him. He quickly moved under the cover of the tables. The red beam was fired and it pierced the place where Mo Fan was last at.

_Damn it!! Just how many lasers can it fire? Why isn’t it’s mana running out?_ Mo Fan cursed the beast in his mind.

The Colossal Eyed Ape Rat didn’t go after Mo Fan but it waited. It even looked a little worn out. Mo Fan who was able to see it’s reflection through the blasted mirror’s piece. He noticed this point and started to calm his mind and focus. The Beast was indeed not able to use his beam continuously. It did get tired after using it recklessly so many (5) times. 

He controlled the stars and connected them again.

One... Two... Three... Four.... Btzz~~

“Arrgh!!” The Star Orbit broke at four stars and the repulsive force caused Mo Fan a slight headache.

The Eye of Colossal Eyed Ape Rat contracted again and Mo Fan noticed it and quickly moved away. For some reason the beast was not coming here, even though it probably arrived from here. This was a blessing for Mo Fan though.

The laser flashed and pierced through the spot where Mo Fan was previously on. The a burnt smell was emitted from the place tickled his nostrils.

The rat beast actually looked tired this time, but it suddenly took a step forward. Mo Fan’s heart skipped a beat, he quickly tried to connect his stars again. The rat beast was afraid of something that’s why he was not approaching the kitchen area, but now it was moving towards it, as the presence it felt before was vanishing slowly.

It quickly reached the kitchen area within 4 seconds and noticed the presence was gone completely. It saw Mo Fan’s shoe lying around in the corner, it grinned and went towards it slowly with drool in it’s mouth. 

As it turned the corner to surprise it’s prey and see the scared look on his face, but it didn’t happen as there was only a shoe lying around. It was confused as to where did the owner of the shoe went.

“SURPRISE MOTHERFU*KER!! LIGHTNING STRIKE: PYTHON SCAR!!!!!!” Mo Fan suddenly appeared from the area where the rat beast entered the kitchen from. He was able to complete his Star Orbit this time.

As he invoked the spell, A huge Lightning Arc exploded from Mo Fan’s body and travelled through his extended right arm, as it furiously and mercilessly rammed against the Colossal Eyed Ape Rat. 

Mo Fan was extremely furious, the lightning exploded on the body of the Rat beast. The lightning in the shape of a lightning Python bit into it’s body as it drilled frantically inside it’s muscles. 

GROWWWLLLLLL!!!!!!!!

The Colossal Eyed Ape Rat screeched in pain, as it was viciously electrocuted. It glared at Mo Fan who had caught him by surprise and turn the tables on it.

The Lightning was famous for its penetrative and paralysis effects! Once Lightning spell was cast it would pierce inside the target’s body and start dancing madly all around, not only did it hurt a lot it also had a burning effect and a paralysis effect to it.

The Magic Beast was groaning in pain and was not able to move it’s body even a little because of the paralysis effect.

“haha... Hahahaha!!! HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!” Mo Fan was laughing like he had won the fight already. He was also laughing because he was able to cast a spell properly in 5 seconds in the face of death.

Now that he was able to cast it once, he was not afraid of the Magic Beast anymore. He suffered a lot tonight, he will definitely vent his frustration on this Monster in front of him.

The scariest in this world was not the Magic Beast who can hunt it’s target, but the Mages who were able to overcome their fear and cast their spells in the face of death! Since he was able to cast a spell once in such a situation, he was confident he can cast his spells again in a similar situation.

“What’s wrong huh? Weren’t you laughing at me just a while ago? C’mon try and laugh again why don’t you?” Mo Fan said he casted another Lightning spell.

He body was covered in Lightning arcs as he blasted the monster again. A loud bang echoed and the monster flew 10metres away. 

“So it can withstand two of my level 1 spells huh, let’s see how many it can withstand!” Mo Fan said as he carefully observed.

He grabbed a knife lying around and boldly went near the monster lying down looking furiously at him. 

“This eye of yours has given me a lot of trouble tonight. Let’s Cut it all up shall we~” Mo Fan said with demonic grin.

He raised the knife and stabbed mercilessly into the eye of the Colossal Eyed Ape Rat. 

KIIIIIIEEEEEEEEKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The beast screamed as it was squirming around in pain. It’s eye was bleeding and he was not able to see anything now. 

“Huh?! The paralysis effect wore off?” Mo Fan noticed.

“Oh Well! LIGHTNING STRIKE!” Mo Fan casted another spell within a second and blasted the rat with it. 

It slowly stopped moving, but it was not dead it was still breathing. Mo Fan went towards it and stabbed it’s eye again and he kept doing it multiple times. The beast was screaming and but Mo Fan simply didn’t care, he literally messed it’s eye up.

He was covered in blue blood now. After finally being satisfied with the stabbing, he plunged his hand inside the eye and grinned wildly!

He activated the Lightning directly inside his body! 

The impact immediately tore his eye apart and it blasted the monsters grey matter from the back of its head. 

The Colossal Eyed Ape Rat’s body stiffened as it slumped on to the floor motionlessly. 

Mo Fan removed his hand and saw that his own lightning spell had scorched his hand as well. 

“No Inserting and casting spells, Got it!” As he said this, he finally slumped down on his butt. His adrenaline rush was slowly going away as his pain was returning to him. He was not able to stand on his feet properly as he had lost a lot of blood. 

The pain on his back was unbearable. He have get his wounds treated or they will get infected. He somehow stood up and was about to leave, but glanced back. 

_If one can come here then more can as well_ a thought flashed across his mind. He decisively went back towards the kitchen area. He still could not see a hole anywhere. 

He grabbed the Fire magic stones from under stoves.

In this world, Humans were not able to explore fuels, and the natural fossil fuels were mainly in demon creature’s territories, even the cars run on Lightning magic stones. They were all eco friendly unlike his science world.

The fist sized fire magic stones were highly flammable objects, that’s why they’re stored inside a box of magic formation, so as to not explode.

Mo Fan placed them near the Corpse of the magic beast. When he went near the magic beast he did not notice a firefly like small ball of light going inside Little Loach. 

After placing them, he went near the exit and started to connect his stars again. He quickly connected them even while he was bleeding a lot and was about to lose consciousness and casted his spell. 

The aura of Lightning erupted from his body and quickly and circled him like a python. When he lifted and pointed his finger towards the corpse of the rat beast, the lightning went forward and exploded on the corpse.

He ran out of the building frantically as soon as he casted the spell. 

BOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

A loud explosion erupted from the stones and the blasted the whole cafeteria building. The building soon collapsed on the cafeteria and buried it and corpse of his fist kill.

The explosion’s shockwave soon blasted Mo Fan right out of the school gate viciously. He was landed on the ground and groaned in pain.

He felt his bones becoming loose from the impact.

“With this even the plan of Black Vatican will be buried under rubble of the cafeteria. Hehehe~” Even in this situation Mo Fan laughed and soon got up.

“Now before I lose my consciousness I have to go back to Aunt’s place, Kgh.. I should've listened to them and stayed night!” He said while feeling helpless. 

He was vomiting blood as he was leaning on the wall and walking towards the direction of Mo Qing’s home.
