CHAPTER 54: THE FUTURISTIC OLD ROOM!

ORIGINAL Author: Chaos

SPINOFF Author: Vester

“Ugh…” Mo Fan woke up from his unconscious state.

His whole body was aching from muscle pain, as if he had been working out for a long time without break. He got up from the ground while still feeling a little dizzy.

“Oh Shit! What did those symbols did to my body?” He suddenly came to his senses and removed his clothes to check if he was okay.

He glanced at his body parts and noticed that everything was alright except for the fact that he had beautiful and intricate tattoo of the Azure Dragon right in the middle of his upper chest.

“What is this? It looks cool indeed, but I would rather not have this on my body. I don’t want to look like a delinquent and make Mum… Aunty Qing and Dad worried about my future. Besides, Dad never liked tattoos, if he finds this on me, I’m pretty sure he will scold the heck out of me.”

The Azure Dragon had finally acknowledged Mo Fan as his master. The Symbols which had turned into the beautiful tattoo were proof of the ownership of the Sacred Totem Beasts. Normally, it should’ve been a proud and honourable thing, but Mo Fan was rather put off by the tattoo.

“Oh! Little Loach had finished absorbing it.” Mo Fan’s attention turned towards Little Loach as he noticed its glow was scattered into the surrounding like dust.

The Runes on the dragon pendant which were not lit up previously were now glowing and looked a lot more alive than before.

……

Mo Fan put on his clothes back and extracted Little Loach from the empty Stone Tablet.

Tuck!

His little pendent was a lot fancier than before, not only that but the energy it contained inside was astronomically huge.

Crack! CRACK!!

“What’s that soun…. Holy SHIIIIT?! The Stone Tablet?!! If that thing crumbles then I’ll be freaking buried here!” Mo Fan Exclaimed as his soul almost left his body seeing the huge stone tablet cracking.

SHATTER!!!

TIIIIIIISS!!!!

As soon as Mo Fan removed Little Loach from the Stone Tablet, it started to crack all over and then shattered suddenly, but the moment it shattered it turned into fine particle dust!

Mo Fan had run away from the stone tablet with all his might to at least have a chance of living, he had long been accustomed to a life-threatening type of situation in this place, so he who was on alert ran away. He was running a lot faster actually, even though he had become all skin and bones because of the lack of food.

“Huh? Why is there no debris falling yet?” Mo Fan who was running had already seen huge stones falling from the sky, so there should’ve been a huge sound of impact by now. But there was no sound at all.

He turned around and noticed that the huge stone tablet had already turned into fine dust! He immediately halted in his tracks!

“Phew~ Thank God, it would’ve really sucked if I died after defeating the boss of the dungeon.” Mo Fan sighed in relief.

The Heavens had not abandoned him yet, there was still hope for him.

After confirming 2-3 times that the stone tablet had disintegrated into dust, he finally returned to the place he was before.

“Huh? Is that another freaking door?! Damn it!! Just how many do I have to cross before getting back!” Mo Fan exclaimed in anger as he noticed another door which was inside the stone tablet.

But this was a normal door with zero talismans on it. It was a door which could be found at anyone’s house’s entrance.

“Damn it! There better be some food inside there.” Mo Fan said as he looked nervously at the door.

To be honest, he was kinda scared to open it. He just wanted to go home now! He had been stuck in this nightmare for almost fifteen days. He tremblingly put his hand on the doorknob.

_Fuh… Let’s Go! _

He exhaled & closed his eyes and opened the door. He slowly opened his eyes and just got disappointed as it was another room.

“Of course… What was I expecting from this stupid dungeon…” Mo Fan said while tearing up a little.

……

The room this time was not big instead it was similar in size to a teenager’s room. It had a desk, a chair and two large bookshelves which was full of books! Not only that but there was also a single bed which had a lot of dust on it.

The room lit up as soon as Mo Fan entered inside.

“Old man Ying said that Little Loach was at least five thousand years old antique, right? Then this whole place or dungeon should also be five thousand years old or more. But then, why is it that all the furniture’s design here which is supposed to be five thousand years old looks so modern and new?” Mo Fan was kind of shocked.

This furniture’s design looked just like the one you have in market today. It did not look like an old vintage furniture at all, aside from looking very old.

“Heck, There’s even a mechanical computer chair here! And this desk is obviously designed for studying but there is even a laptop placing space here. Holy shit! Is that an AC power socket? What the hell is that thing doing here?!” This didn’t make even more sense to Mo Fan as he discovered more and more things which were not supposed to exist five thousand years ago.

The things here were obviously way too old, since the amount of dust on them was not something which can be accumulated in just a year or two on its own. It 100% was thousands of years old. But it didn’t make any sense for it to simply exist at that time.

The world had advanced a lot in these 100-200 years. New technologies were constantly emerging and upgrading at an astronomical speed. A lot of things had made human’s lives comfortably relaxed. The emergence of electricity or maybe lightning element in this world had made it progress a lot more into the future.

Because technologies were made based on electricity itself! The invention of an Ac Power Socket was patented in 1904! It was simply not possible to exist five thousand years ago. In fact, the one in front of him was a lot more futuristic than the ones which exists currently.

“Just what the fuck is this place” Mo Fan said as he stared at the place, he was a little frightened now.
