CHAPTER 63: WHATEVER HAPPENS, HAPPENS!

“((Shit! Don’t tell me, the Primordial Core was the thing keeping the room from shattering!))”
Mo Fan noticed the glowing Azure lines on the walls of the room slowly fading. Because of that the walls were cracking at an astonishing speed.
“((No! Damn it!! Where’s the exit??? Where am I supposed to go from here?!))” Mo Fan panicked as he did not see an exit anywhere.
CRACK!
SHATTTER!!!
A small part of the wall cracked and shattered into oblivion. Mo Fan’s heart sank seeing that sight & cold sweat covered his back.
He enhanced all of his senses to the maximum and searched all over the room, both of the Mo Fans moved almost instantaneously all around the room searching for an exit! There were 10-20 afterimages of them all over the room.
Flicker~
“((Huh? What’s that!?))”
Mo Fan noticed two almost invisible silver flickers on two opposite walls. His enhanced senses immediately saw through the trick and two white portals appeared both on the opposite side of each other as soon as he waved his hand clad in a silver glow!
“((Portals! But wait, why are there two?! Which one is real?))”
CRACK!!
There were two portals opposite to each other. Mo Fan didn’t know which one was the exit out of here!
He extended his wills towards the two portals but they shattered as soon as they touched the portals.
“((Damn It!!))” He cursed.
Suddenly Little Loach vibrated and glowed blindingly and excitedly. It immediately floated to the left portal.
“((Little Loach?! Is that the exit?))” Mo Fan laughed excitedly as he moved towards it without wasting any time.
Just as he was about to leave through the exit, he stopped all of a sudden as he came to a sudden realisation.
“((Why does it seems that you’re a little too happy about something else... Where does this portal lead to, Little Loach? If my wills didn’t worked, I doubt yours did...))” Mo Fan became sceptical of Little Loach’s overly happy emotions.
It was a little too happy and excited, as if it was finally returning home after fighting in the world war!
Vrrr!!
When it heard Mo Fan’s question, it began to vibrate as if it wanted to tell him something!
CRACK!!!
_Its coming... I have to hurry!_ Mo Fan became nervous as he saw the walls were filled with cracks!
“((What are you trying to say?))” Mo Fan asked in a panicking tone to Little Loach.
Vrrr~ VRRRRR!!!!!
It vibrated even more furiously as a glow came out of it in the shape of a soul essence and was absorbed inside him again and then it shined!
“((Huh...? What are...! There is still a Soul Essence in which you’re interested in, even after all those level ups? No that doesn’t sound right... Wait! No Way! There is something related to yourself inside that Portal, isn’t there!))” Mo Fan suddenly realized.
VVVRRRRR!!! VVVVRRRRRR!!!!
It vibrated excitedly as Mo Fan had understood it. There was indeed something related to Little Loach inside the portal as it was constantly calling it!
There was a very high possibility that there was Little Loach’s Astral Soul inside that portal. Just thinking of that probability Little Loach had wanted to jump off of Mo Fan’s chest and go inside the Portal.
“((But... Then what is that portal over there for?))” Mo Fan turned to its direction and wondered.
SWOOOSH~
All of a sudden, Mo Fan felt a faint, very faint presence of elements from the other portal. He did not felt it was weird at first but then his Rainbow Wings reacted to those elements.
“((What the?! Is that...))”
Mo Fan felt the presence of those elements very familiar to his own... No not his own, it was very familiar to the elements of the Phoenix!
CRACK~
“((Damn it! I don’t even have time to think about it... These Portals will be destroyed with the room if I waste anymore time.))” Mo Fan pondered for a moment. He had a very complicated expression.
He wanted to go as well as he didn’t want to go. But since he felt the presence of the Phoenix there was nothing he could do but to go, after all he have to find it before it dies.
“((Ah Shit! Whatever happens, happens!))” Mo Fan said decisively!
The Dragon Fan turned to the left portal while the Elemental Fan went to the portal on the opposite side.
_I have to find out what is there on the other side of that portal! Fortunately the Elemental Me will still be okay inside the death void (I think so at least), but the Dragon Me will definitely be shredded into atoms. So I can’t take that kind of risk with this body..._
The Elemental Rainbow Glow surrounding the Elemental Mo Fan dispersed as a unique new Silver Glow burst out of his body. It surrounded his body as it gently encapsulated him in a Dimensional/Spatial barrier of his own.
_Just in case, if things go south..._ Mo Fan thought as he smiled wryly.
The Mo Fan clad in silver and Dragon Mo Fan both stopped near the entrance of their respective portals as they looked back at each other one last time.
“((Okay! Let’s go!!))” Both of them nodded.
They turned towards the portal and stepped inside it at the same time.
BLIP! BLIP!!
......
After stepping inside the portals, the room started to crumble as the Night started to seep inside.
It was completely shattered and shredded into dust which also disappeared soon.
The dark black space now dominated the place where the room was at previously...
