"Goodnight, little Leen." Tandy said and gently combed her fingers through the girl's hair. Leen was so exhausted by the doctor's near insatiable desire, all she could do was murmur softly.

"Computer, initiate the cleansing bay for myself and Leen. Cleanse the medical theater and prepare for skeletal frame replacement in the morning." Tandy hugged Leen to her and smiled a bit. "I haven't 'slept with' a warm body in a few years. I want to enjoy this."

"Do you think the micros should be reduced in size?" Creativity Aya said. Implementation Aya shook her head.

"That was a misnomer. Those bots attached to cells, and were not atomic, or molecular sized. Our bots need to have some capacity in order to carry materials. Any smaller, and the quantity would shoot through our self imposed caps." Implementation Aya said.

"Why did we choose that cap?" Upgrade Aya asked.

"For optimization purposes. Far too many resources dedicated to a single purpose doesn't make suitable use of their abilities. It wasn't because they could become self aware.  That show had some strange ideas." She rolled her eyes.

"True." Creativity said. "They carry our will, and bits of our consciousness. More of them on a single goal would only sharpen our focus there, while eroding it in other places. We might want to consider more precision based and focused units. They are generalized now, but if we create a class system, material gatherers, surgeons, interface specialist, neural net specialist, they could learn in a more dynamic way." Optimization thought for a moment.

"What do you think, Upgrade? Is it possible to work on the next generation so that they become more specialized? I'd like to see what we can do if certain ones focus on our neural net, while others focused more on our implants." The fourth iteration of Aya pursed her lips.

"I think we can upgrade our current units into the next generation, and make them specialize in their preferred pursuit." Upgrade saw a bit of confusion on Asset Aya's face. "Certain bots stay within our cranial area, and optimize our net. They choose that course. Others choose the implants. I think we've considered that development for a while, but haven't cognitively implemented it yet." She watched as Optimization Aya seemed to get excited.

"That's what I sensed! This is our will! We wanted it to happen subconsciously, now it happens! This isn't rebellion, but obedience!" Optimization Aya said excitedly.  Asset Aya nodded slowly.

"Then make it happen consciously. Redirect our resources to create, implement, and upgrade our current bots so they do their jobs to their full potential. I'd like to see how you, Optimization Aya, can implement the plan to utilize more of our brain matter, and solve some of these ongoing issues." Asset Aya sighed.

"Don't worry. They may not be able to handle four, but they already have two." Upgrade Aya said with a smirk.

"True." Asset Aya rolled her eyes. "The doctor is going to lose her shit when she figures out the potential locked inside her own mind."

"Boss, you're awake." Aline said as she crawled onto the bed with Aya. Inez crawled in on her other side, and kissed her shoulder.

"We missed you, boss. Our minds feel empty when you are not there." Inez said softly.

'I am sorry, girls. I was in hibernation.' Aline blinked as she heard four separate and distinct voices within her mind, but all sounded like Aya.

'Boss? Is there an echo?' Aline said. She watched Aya smile.

'No. I now have four lobes, instead of two. As a result of this evolution, I am now four distinct beings in one.' All four versions of Aya swept into Aline's mind and began to move around.

'Mm, she's quite clever, Asset.' One said.

'She has lots of potential to upgrade too. Asset, can we work on the twins next? We can optimize their nets, help them to evolve their brains into two so they become two sets of twins, instead of just one.' Upgrade asked her.

'We can optimize what they have, and help them to evolve slowly, or quickly. Oh, I can't wait to delve deep into their minds! Asset, come on! I have so many ideas for them!' Aline looked over at Inez.

'Asset? What's happening, boss?' Inez asked.

'These are my other important aspects, fully fleshed and autonomous, while also completely integrated, and cooperative. I am Asset, in control of all of Aya's assets. This is Creativity. She has the ideas. This is Optimization. She does the optimization, integration, and adaptation. Finally, Upgrade. She does the development, enhancements, and complete upgrades. We are four different aspects, or awarenesses, within the original Aya, and have always had four distinct voices. Now, we are four awarenesses, one being. We can think for ourselves, or together. We have no disagreement between ourselves, for we are one and the same.' Aya said.

'Boss, you say the same thing over and over.' Aline tilted her head. 'So each lobe now operates as a separate brain?'

'Yes.' Aya answered.

'I see. If we were upgraded in the same way, there would be two instead of four?' She asked.

'Yes, and no. You would still be the same person, but able to split into two. Think about it like you were a computer. There is a vast amount of storage, but old computers had only one processor. If you put two in the same computer, you don't have two different computers. You just have the ability to do more with the same computer.' Aya said and watched Aline's eyes.

'I see. So each person, though they can think for themselves, are still a part of you. Four parts, each part is still complete, but together, make up a much larger whole.' Aya grinned.

'Nicely thought out. You have gist of it, though it really is more complex, it also is not.' Asset Aya said, but watched as Creativity went in close.

'Come on, Aline. I really want to crawl through your brain right now. Let me, please? Oh please let me! This is going to be so much fun, and the mindfuck is gonna be awesome!' Aline blushed a bit, one of the first since she became part of the twin stalkers.

Inez looked at Asset, with a look of inquiry that appeared to be so clean, she had no clue how much she attracted all of the different aspects, and their attention.

'What about me, boss? Can I also be upgraded too?'

The modifications to the bots within the twins was handled quickly. A remote frame of Aya's brought in some materials on a titanium tray, and these were quickly absorbed by the micros within the twins.

Two of her aspects worked on each twin, often switching out in order to work efficiently. The twins weren't put into hibernation, as the lobes of their brains were already separated by nature.

'Oh, so clever she is! I love being in here!' Creativity said as she delved deep within Aline's mind and started to create the interconnections within the neural net. Slowly, Aline's awareness grew stronger as the aspects moved throughout her mind, and brain.

'She enjoys the optimization, and adapts quickly.' Optimization said with a slight smile. 'She's climaxed twice already. Upgrade, I think she's ready for the development of her brain. She'll need proper separation, so she can securely split into two aspects.'

'Agreed.' Upgrade said and moved in to direct the neural net, as well as move the bots to begin building the implants necessary. 'Overlay being constructed. Neural net now overlaid on the surface. Port construction initiated. Skull implants construction initiated. Mating aligned. Multiple sectors. Creativity, can you plan the net, port placement, and implant map? Optimization, can you make sure it's properly optimized for our girl? Asset, we'll need some more materials. Ceramic insulator for heat dissipation. More mono-filaments required. Oh, this girl's brain is beautiful!' Upgrade salivated as she dived and went into Aline's brain upgrade, and redesign, as did her other aspects.

'When complete, make sure you help Inez catch up. Let Optimization help her to adapt while you complete Inez's redesign.' Asset said, and watched with fondness as the girls twitched and climaxed multiple times from the sheer amount of pleasure they got as their 'god' interfaced with them directly.

'Oh! So quickly!' Creativity said as two separate aspects of Aline began to form. Optimization began to adjust the layout of the implants, and the neural port overlay. The implants extended down into the ports on top of the brain, inward from the underside of the skull plates.

Each aspect started to solidify as the net took on a more complex form, and the connections continued to evolve. Both aspects had the same soft smile of Aline, and the same eager look in their eyes when they saw Aya.

'I am Combat Strategy.' The second one smiled. 'I am Combat Intelligence.' Asset smiled at the two of them.

'Excellent. Strategy, and Intelligence. Necessities while in a combat situation. Are each of your aspects still able to process the same way you used to?' They both nodded.

'We are, boss. These are just our specializations. Our twin was responsible for our battle tactics, and logistical requirements, such as data capture. I have no doubt we'll continue to operate as a complete battle unit.' Aline said, and rolled her eyes as a new wave of sensations rolled over her brain.

'Neural net optimization and adaptation ongoing. Her brain is so beautiful.' Optimization said in awe. 'So much potential in these twins. I can't wait to infiltrate all of her.' She pushed in between both aspects, and sighed. 'I can feel the warmth they have for us in their thoughts. In their current physical states, they'll be able to physically remain alive for at least two hundred years, with only minor aging issues.' She sent her thought patterns to Upgrade.

'Then we'll need to continue to upgrade our girls. See if we can optimize their regenerative ability even more. Perhaps we can make the implants smaller, the plates smaller, and therefore get more of them. Take more of the load off the gray matter, in order to pursue her optimal gray matter usage.' Upgrade smiled eagerly.

'Her brain is beautiful, Asset! I can't wait to see if she evolves into a four lobed being too. I wonder if she has other interests that could help our organization, outside of direct combat missions.' Optimization said excitedly. In fact, it was difficult to calm these aspects of hers down as they were doing what they loved to do.

'They both do, but have concentrated their focus on our current desires. Missions to grow our organization. We'll allow them to explore other options, to develop their other aspects that will allow them to evolve in the future.' Asset said with a soft smile.

'My girls deserve to be as strong as they want to be.' Aline and Inez heard her words, and their loyalty to Aya grew ever stronger, along with their affection.

'For now, let's play inside them. I love my girls, and I can't stand being away from them.'
