"Sit down, Lucas" Magera said as she sat on the chair next to him

"What is going on? I just requested to be able to join Starrock" Lucas said as he felt the atmosphere was strange

"I think it's time I told you about your parents" she said

Lucas nodded and sat silently as he watched Magera struggle to tell the story of Gladius and Aurora

She didn't know their names, and could only tell him the stories she gathered about them

She did admit that Gladius was very handsome, and Aurora was the prettiest woman she has ever seen

"Prettier than you?" Lucas asked, somehow feeling proud of his mother, yet conflicted as he regarded Magera as his mother too

"Maybe...about equal" Magera said, somehow still being too proud of her own beauty

Lucas laughed at her response

She continued telling what she has heard, about his father being a famous gladiator, and his mother being the woman of the powerful Mage Sevalle. 

She told him about the invasion by the vampire forces, and somehow about the simultaneous attack by the orcs. It must have been a coordinated attack by both evil races as the city of Evermourn was conquered in a night

"So.. my mother was the woman of a mage, yet got pregnant by my father?" Lucas asked

"I... suspect they were both enslaved. I don't think they willingly served the mage" she said

She told him about them fleeing to the dark forest where Lucas and Magera currently stayed, his mother being heavily pregnant

Suddenly Magera burst out crying and knelt to the ground in front of Lucas

"Magera.. what..." Lucas was shocked, but she continued telling the story 

"I had just returned from Winterose, after helping the forces of Rendovir as their joint forces fought against the demon army! I returned and suddenly an Incubus... your father came out of the cabin. 

He was... magnificent, the most powerful Incubus I've ever seen, full of muscles and bulging with power" she said

"He attacked you?" Lucas asked in surprise

"I... I didn't give him a chance to. I attacked him with a surprise attack, not giving him a chance to react, plunging my sword Selsior into his heart!" Magera said, her head drooping in shame

"Wha...what?" Lucas was shocked. Magera killed his father? Did he even attack?

"Suddenly, your mother... an elf screamed as she ran towards me..towards your father.." Magera said

"And you..killed her too?" Lucas was too shocked to know what to expect

"No... NO! I was shocked to see a pregnant elf, but as she ran towards us, she... her body crumbled under the sunlight! She was a vampire!" Magera said

"What? How is that possible?" Lucas asked, as the story seemed too implausible

"I don't know. Perhaps she was attacked by the vampire invaders when they escaped Evermourn. She.. she was a pile of ashes by the time she even got near

And.... her baby emerged in the ashes, you. I realized that I made a mistake and I took you and raised you" she said

"And that makes it alright?" Lucas asked angrily with tears in his eyes

"No.. I.. here" she said, hending him her sword Selsior to him

"What.. " Lucas asked, confused as she handed her sword to him

"Take my life as compensation for taking your family! Strike me down and don't look back Lucas" Magera said, her teary eyes looking at him with a steely look

Lucas took the sword in his arm and looked at her with a grim look on his face

He suddenly threw aside the sword and pulled Magera up from the ground

"Magera.... all these happened, but I cannot get angry at you since you raised me and loved me" he said

"But... " Magera said

"But I am no longer your son. You are no longer my mother..." Lucas said

"Lucas..." Magera cried, her heart broken by his statement, but he continued

"You are now... my lover. Only my lover" he said as he hugged her in his arms

She didn't know how to respond and cried in his arms as he suddenly kissed her and brought her to their bed

Lucas was especially vigorous and rough with her in their lovemaking, and she let him take out his anger and frustration on her body

She lay in bed, a full 2 days later, after they made love and cried together

Lucas consolidated the story in his mind, realizing why he has the abilities that he had. He was a hybrid incubus, elf and vampire, which explained many things, such as his looks, his abilities and his nature. He had gained all the benefits, without all the setbacks. Now that he knew, he would seek out and learn the many abilities of each race in deeper depth to gain more power. 

He stood in front of the bed, getting ready his clothes that looked dashing on him. 

"I will be going now, Magera. Don't do anything foolish, because I will come back. And I want to see you here, as always, for me" Lucas said

"I will be here for you, always" Magera said as she got up and cleaned his dick one last time before she dressed him and packed a few belongings to bring on his trip

She walked him outside, still only covered in her bedsheets as Lucas climbed onto a pegacorn, which was a hybrid between a unicorn and pegasus, and took off, waving goodbye to Magera

He could fly to Winterose by his own power, but as he didn't want to reveal his incubus, vampire or elf abilities, he chose to hide his abilities. 

Even his pointed ears were fully hidden by his long flowing black locks. He was simply an incredibly good looking human male!

He flew with the pagacorn into the air, providing favorable and comfortable weather to fly to Winterose and to the Starrock Academy, the very journey his mother undertook, all those years ago!

Unlike his mother and the elves, he completely bypassed all the orcs and other creatures his mother faced, and found the journey easy and enjoyable, seeing the many wondrous sites from the air that most could not see from the ground

He even encountered a few gryphons and giant eagles along the way. But as he could talk to animals and had a natural animal charm about him, instead of fighting, they acted like escorts, bringing him and his pegacorn safely through the territory they lived in, chasing away all other creatures or monsters that could have been a hindrance

His thoughts many times on the journey was about his parents and Magera. He couldn't hate Magera, as he has loved her since he could remember. So in essence, he forgave her. But he could not forget what was done. It would always be a part of him now, and he knew Magera had lived with this self loathing his whole lifetime.

Choosing to set it aside, since he couldn't change the past anyway, he decided to leave things as it is. He left Magera on a good note, and perhaps because of what she did to his parents, he always had the upper hand with her in any disagreements

That wasn't such a bad thing, right? Not that he wanted to hold it over her, but somehow he suspected their relationship will always have this tension between them, not that he knew about the past. 

He looked at the distance and smiled. It was the country of Winterose, and within it, the Starrock Academy!
