Recap:

He watched as the cat visibly strengthened, and after taking more drugs, it outsped the rescue bus and drove ahead.

"MAKOTO!" Koichi and his mother Shouted.

‘Damnit.’ 

The rescue car eventually came to a stop, as did the life threatening danger for those present. The adults conversed amongst themselves or with the police as Dante sat off to the side.

‘Ugh…Makoto’s in danger! If only I had an All Might hoodie-Oh wait! The souvenir I bought.’ 

----

"Don’t thank me, just please help Koichi and Makoto. My quirk isn’t suited for moving long distances, so I'm unfortunately not much help."

"It’s fine, I’ll watch and see if they need help."

Dante put on the jacket and pants over his current outfit and a mask. He looked at the manhole and seared it open with his heated up finger.

He had Kazuho's help opening it before he jumped down. 

As he did, he thought he heard her say,

"Don’t forget to take care of yourself."

"RECEPRO BURST!"

Ingenium jumped in the sky, and while forcing himself to twist down, he sent a kick onto the roof of the bus.

The bus tilted, but quickly got a hold of itself before pushing its speed.

"Crud, It’s going even faster." Koichi said from behind while he adjusted his speed to match Ingeniums, who was going at a slightly slower pace now.

Koichi had caught up to Ingenium and given him the tank of gas a few minutes ago.

"Crawler, I’m going to unfortunately need to ask you to be bait."

The cats Tail kept swinging at them from behind the bus, and the mirrors changed depending on where they were, This messed up Ingenium, as he was more suited for straight movement at these high speeds.

"Alright."

Koichi sped up, zig-zagging around the cat, distracting it while Ingenum thought,

‘With that kick, my engines are close to overheating.’

He looked ahead at the bus and Koichi, who were getting farther from his sight. 

“No time…do I have to use that? If I fail though…I’ll be totally finished!’

While this was happening, underground, Dante wasn’t having such a hot time either. Bees. Tens, hundreds, and thousands of bees were chasing him.

He was trying to fly in this sewer, but it became increasingly difficult. The place stank to the point that it was giving him a headache.

The farther along he got, the narrower the space became, and he dreaded the possibility of having to run while being chased.

Which brought us to his most annoying problem, the bees. They were affected and could be killed with his fire, however, he and whoever controlled them both knew that.

They were separated and dispersed in intricate formations so that if he made a half-hearted effort to kill some, the others would take advantage of the opportunity to get close to him.

The worst part was that they were all carrying vials. A green liquid was within it and Dante didn’t have to be a genius to figure out what it was.

He tried his best to get away, but he’s still been pricked once or twice, though since nothing happened, he figured there's some duds along with the real thing mixed between.

All in all, he was regretting his choice to take this route.

‘Should I have taken the sky? No there were too many eyes that could have found me. Then should I take a stand and burn them all? No, if I miss one and they happen to have the liquid, I'll lose my mind and go on a rampage.'

'Not to mention that I can't maintain full power in a 360-degree range for long, and the one behind them doesn't appear dumb either, so I'm sure they're goals are to keep wasting my strength right now.'

Dante increased the heat on his right shoulder, killing one bee that was very close to injecting him again.

‘Damn it.’

Above on the surface Koichi's provocative antics had sapped some of the cat's energy, making it slow down.

But he himself wasn’t used to such high intensity use of his quirk, his chest was heaving as he fell back into pace.

"Ingenium, *Huff* I’m going to try and save the passenger."

Looking at Koichi’s current state, Inegnnium shouted.

"Crawler-"

Unfortunately for him, Koichi didn’t listen.

"HIYAHHHHH!"

"[End of the road, 200 meters ahead! Ingenium hit the brakes!]"

‘Damnit-’

"I've got to will myself to run faster," Koichi was saying to pep himself up.

It worked, though, because he gained enough speed to grab the door and pull himself inside the bus.

"I am….Here!" 

He shouted to Makoto, who had been watching the whole ordeal through the back windows.

"Eh, Cruller…Wait…Koichi?!"

Koichi, who heard his name, brought his hand up to his head, only to feel his hair.

"Aw crap, I forgot to put on my hoodie."

*Bump*

That wasn’t the worst of their problems, however, since the bus was currently in free fall. Not wasting time, Koichi grabbed Makoto, ran up to the back window, broke it, and jumped out.

Looking at the falling bus Ingenium thought,

"I can’t give up!"

Ingenium gave it his all and used everything he had left in his tank.

"Engine Mode Hyper Acceleration: ROCKET CHARGE!"

He boosted himself and also jumped off the bridge while reaching out his hand. Koichi, however, was a few feet too short to properly make the hand connection.

*Shoko and Knuckleduster*

"My boy actually used to crawl on air. He was get all around the house and sneak out when the windows were open." With a distant look, she said.

"I was so worried about what would happen, that I gave him smacks each time in hopes of stopping him. I knew there’d be a day the moment I heard of his dream that a little smack wouldn’t keep him down anymore."

Iwao Oguro or Knucleduster took his cigar out of his mouth for a moment.

"There comes a day when a parent's worrying isn’t enough. Every kid has to fly eventually. All we can do is teach them to fly, right?"

*Koichi*

‘Were going to fall! Theres not enough, I gotta crawl, come on.’

His legs failed him, and gravity was starting to set in.

‘Come on for once, you quirk, just CRAWL.’

Koichi and Makoto were boosted into the air as a ring of blue energy stuck around Koichi’s legs and right hand.

Makoto was caught in Ingenium's hands as Koichi was knocked in the general direction.
