Recap

The boy craved effect and tried all sorts of ways to use and prove his usefulness, so he could be sought after, but this only further proved to the person he wanted acknowledgment from that he was a failure.

So, the boy embarked on the path of no return, and I see the boy in you. You fight not just because of what you say but also because you're angry. You want revenge, and so you fight. The difference between you and a villain is that you have your morals.

I see it in your eyes. Even though you have thoughts of hatred, and revenge against this world in your mind, you still don't give in to your hatred. Instead, you form a new goal. Eradicate all scum and villains, and protect the people.

I find you interesting, so I'm going to assist you with your gain of strength, and hopefully, you can provide a brand-new story. I hope with all my strength that you can resist and not be swept up in the embers of revenge like that boy.

Listening to his reason, I can't help but think 'that's really it? He first tried to kill me and cripple me, but just because I am similar to someone he knows, he changes his attitude towards me so quickly. '

Looking at Dabi, who was a few feet away from me and had just finished telling me that story, I couldn't help but become doubtful.

'Is that really it? There has to be more, right? Why did he coincidentally appear now at this moment.'

All sorts of questions appeared in my head at this moment, and just when I opened my mouth to ask, Dabi used this chance to say something.

"We'll kid, that's all I have. The next time we meet, we'll probably be enemies. I hope you can truly surpass me. "

I was stunned that he ended the fight so abruptly. We had only been fighting for 50 minutes, but to me, the time had gone by much faster.

When I recovered, all I saw was a tall back disappearing into the shadows. After checking and making sure that he wasn't there, I reviewed my battle and my actions. When thinking of what I said and how he taught me, I couldn't stop myself from having momentary doubts.

'Was this really the right choice.' I couldn't help but ponder.

Recalling my past experiences in the past few months, I looked at the group of villains in front of me. And their previous boss, whose blood-drenched face was lying at the bottom of my feet.

The cannon fodder villains were terrified when they saw their boss, who was the strongest, lying in a pool of blood.

"What do we do?"

"We can't beat that monster."

Azure thought that with the defeat of their leader, this base should have lost their morale and that he would have an easy victory,

But a brave villain came to the front of the group and spoke.

"Don't fall for the enemy's schemes. Sure, he's strong, but we have numbers, and most importantly, even though the boss has lost, don't forget headquarters predicted this and sent "that" person over personally."

The cannon fodder who had seemed dejected a moment ago suddenly regained a trace of hope. They then shouted.

"Of course, with "that" person, this wannabe will definitely feel the might of our villain group. "

"There was no way he could defeat one of the six court guards from headquarters."

"Of course!"

Azure looked at this group of cheating villains and had a cold smirk. 'That one who raised the morale of the group is not so simple. He's able to incite the morale of the group while targeting my will to fight by mentioning reinforcements. He's trying to stall for time. '

Azure snorted when he realized this but still dashed towards the group, not intending to allow that person's plan to succeed.

The villains suddenly became quiet as they saw Azure charging at them. It was as if they were paralyzed and a scythe was swinging down towards their necks, and an imperial danger that was unavoidable was heading towards them.

Azure's eyes also gleamed as he was ready to kill them, but when he was 5 feet apart, he suddenly had a sense that great danger was approaching.

He had always been paying attention to the mysterious villain who was causing the others' morals to increase, so he looked down and saw a wisp of blue fire, inside a transparent yellow sphere.

As Azure hurriedly changed course and tried to jump away, he also looked at the villain's face. But when he looked in the villains' direction, he saw a maniacal grin. With a shit-eating grin, the villain mouthed one word. 'Tick·Tock!!' Instantly all the hairs on Azure's body were raised, but the sphere had already started to break down, then in the next moment.

*BOOOOOM*

The ground darkened immediately, and the villain's view was covered in smoke and dust for a minute.

"Hahahaha, see your trash. There's no way you could break through our 4-man combination-"

But the villain couldn't laugh for long because as the smoke cleared up, a figure was a few feet away with barely any injuries except for his tattered hood, which was in pieces.

The villain, who had been just laughing, was instantly shocked. He looked at number 2 and demanded.

"Hey, number 2, tell me how he's still alive, especially after combining so many flames together."

Number 2 shrank and said in a weak tone, "I'm sorry, number 3, the timing was off by a minute and because of the bubble, the time was delayed, giving him time to dodge."

Number 3 was still furious that they didn't kill Azure and was about to go on another rant, but at this time, number 1 spoke up, "rather than be angry at number 2, we should be astonished that this guy could make a split-second decision and get away scot-free with just a messed-up hoodie."

However, on the other hand, the numbers weren't the only ones astonishing at this moment.

Azure was also evaluating his recent information. 'That was close. If not for me sensing the rapidly expanding and increasing heat from behind me, I might have been even more injured.

From their words earlier, there were 4 of them, so, does that mean that this is their only move and requires the 4 of them to cooperate, or are there more moves.'

Azure was on edge against these people. He was wary of them and had his guard up even more.

But right at this moment, when both parties were wary of the other, large footsteps could be heard vibrating through the hall.

The villains all had a relived expression with some cheering, while Azure had a grim expression.

Suddenly, a burly figure, covered in hair stepped into the hall. His vibrant outfit of red and green pants combined with the "Kong" tattoo on his back shone brightly against the white walls around them.

When he surveyed the situation, the burly figure nodded despite the number of bodies lying around and shouted "DID YOU MISS ME!!!!"

Instantly, the hall was filled with cheerful, and excited expressions and sounds. While there was one person who seemed out of place and had a dark expression on his face.
