*3rd Pov Timeskip*

"After you both collapsed, I was worried and ran straight to the hospital. Meanwhile, at the back of the car, a black-haired boy has his eyebrows raised as if he didn't believe her.

"Mom, there's no way that's true. I mean, I remember feeling hot and passing out, but surely me just awakening my quirk would cause all that damage, "said Dante, looking out of the window as they were driving through the city.

From the front seat, a blue-eyed man turned around and dejectedly explained to his son his greatest shame.

"It's true, son. Even though it was 2 years ago, I still haven't recovered from the damage. Look, my precious manly, dashing looks are gone. I should be at the end of my youth, at the precious age of 37, but your collapse worried me so much that I now look like some perverted old man who looks like he's 43. " said Daisuke.

Laughing while driving, Asuka looked through her side view and smiled at her family. She decided to humor her husband, she said.

After hearing that, Dausike had a faked downcast expression. Hearing what Asuka said.

"It's ok dad, your quirk doesn't need to be useful, because when I grow up, I'll protect you, mom, and everyone. I'll become a hero so great that the symbol of my flames will light up everyone, even in their darkest hour. " Dante said, doing a dramatic pose and slightly yelling.

"Ok, my little hero, but we're here at the office, so tone it down, will you." said Dad, while crouching down to Dante's level to speak to him.

Walking into the office, the Tanaka family was seated next to each other on some chairs, looking at a man in his mid 40's in a lab coat typing on a computer. After a few seconds, he turned his attention to the family.

Hello, I'm Matsuoka Haru, and from my clipboard, we are here for Dante Tanaka."

"Yes, we are here for a quirk registration and quirk checking test."

As the family and the doctors walked back into the room, the doctor started relaying the information he discovered during this period.

"Your son's quirk seems to be a mutation between your Eagle Shifter and your husband's Therapeutic Flame." said the doctor, looking at his clipboard.

" Can you explain further?" Asuka said, looking happy that her quirk wasn't left out.

"His quirk allows him to at least partially transform into some kind of bird, plus he seems to be able to produce and control blue flames that have the property of him being able to manually change the temperature and heal himself. I would assume the drawbacks are the same as any flame and transformation quirk, heating up and stamina strain."

"As noted here, his body is extremely well adapted to the current limit of his flames. He only had some minor burns when reaching his limit. If he wants to increase his heat, i would recommend subtly increasing the temperature and the time he is exposed to it."

Crouching down to Dante's height, the doctor looked at him and said…

"We'll bud it's time for the most exciting part. What do you want your quirk's name to be?"

After 1 minute, Dante still hadn't responded and looked in deep thought.

"Dante, what do you want your quirk to be called," Asuka asked while still holding Dante's hand.

Dante Pov

I want the quirk's name to be cool and also be swift while seeming to be fancy and classy. Deciding on a name, Dante snapped out of his mind and looked up towards Asuka.

"How about Phoenix's Ember because the bird is like a phoenix and the ember is so that even with my last will of fire I will still be burning brightly."

Seemingly satisfied with that answer, all the adults in the room nodded their heads, and even Matsuoka looked impressed.

"Well, I'll log that in. Here's a lollipop to the boy for creating a quirk with a cool name while also having deep meaning, I don't give these out all the time." Matsuoka said while handing me the lollipop.

*Timeskip 30 minutes*

As we walk into the house, I see the time and remember that I don't have a lot of time before meeting with my friends.

Turning around, I look at my parents and say, "Can I go to the park and play with my friends?"

Observing their faces, Mom looks like she might say no, so I pull out the big guns. Trying to look as dashing as possible, I say, "Please, if I don't go, I'll be a gentleman who breaks his promises."

The moment dad heard this, he immediately said "Sure" and whisked me away, telling me not to come back till 6, which is when the sun starts to come down.

I then started to walk around the corner where the playground is. I can't wait to play with my friends. However, when I see it in my mind, I see Bakugo and his friends beating up Izuku.

Running towards them, I stand in front of him, making a T pose, and say, "Hey, pick on somebody like you. That's not a hero-like action. "

Bakugo, who heard me, got angry and said, "Shut up flame brain. We were fighting because he refused to be the villain who gets beaten up. But since he's quirkless trash, that's all he could ever be. "

'How could they? They are so mean, for what? Even though I got my quirk, I was constantly bullied for being a quirkless kid. '

Bakugo put his arm near me when we were close, but knowing his quirk, I dogged to the left and coated my hand in a small amount of flames, afraid of hurting him. I tried to punch his gut.

But instead of dogging, he just put his hand on my shoulder and we both took a hit. After that, for the next couple of minutes, we just kept trading blows.

He would end up burning me with his explosions while I left some marks on him with my flames.

'This can't go on. Mom said that I can't burn someone and use the full power of my flames unless it is necessary. '

Dashing to Bakugo for a final confrontation, when we were close, I saw him place his hand up and prepare to dodge, but instead, he placed them near Izuku's direction. Even though Izuku was far away, he would still be affected by the blast.

I somehow decided that jumping into his hand to take the explosion would be a good thing, but before I could receive this attack, Bakugo grinned as if he was waiting for me. He placed one of his hands on my chest.

He then placed one of his hands on top, holding the other on the back, and finally, he released the explosion. However, this was different from the others. It was bigger, louder, and better.

It was so strong that I was blasted back and slammed into a tree. Since the blow was so strong, I started to lose consciousness. But before I passed out, I heard, "Hmph, stupid flame brain. Even with a quirk, you protect this useless loser.

As Bakugo walked near the tree where Izuku was shaking, he was saying, "I'll beat him up so badly he won't ever come outside. That way, we can have a real fight…So you useless bastard, how do you want to be to beat you up."

At this point, I was stable enough to the point that I could hear Izuku's quivering noises.

'I'm going to fail?' I repeated the question in my head. I can't just pass out and let Izu get injured. 'Get up…GEt Up…GET UP!'

Willing my body to get up, I ran towards the tree next to Bakugo. However, he turned around and had an excited expression on his face, as if he was enjoying this fight. He put his hands up, preparing to blast at me, expecting my fist to attack him first.

However, unexpectedly, I jumped on the tree and used it as a platform to turn around.

'Mom said not to kill anyone and use my quirk to its full power, so I'll be nice and lower the temperature of my flames, even if I can barely control them.

Partiality transforming my right leg into a talon. I swing at Bakugo, and before Bakugo can react, I nick him in the face and send him flying towards his minions.

Ending the transformation, I'm gasping for breath, but I still say, "RUN, and don't come back, or you'll all be begging for your mother."

Standing up with a struggle Bakugo let out some painful breaths, then he said, "This isn't over. I'll be back and I'll beat you and that nerd."

Seeing that they all ran off, 'Good," I thought before falling down. Timidly, Izu walks over and speaks.

"t-thanks for s-saving m-m-me."

"No problem, that's what friends do."

"F-friends? You still want to be f-friends with me, a quirkless nobody, even when you have such an awesome quirk? "

"Of course, I would, especially since you have a good brain. I heard you mumbling last week about Bakugo's quirk, and even though we haven't known each other for long, you are nice, and even before I got my quirk, you never bullied me. "
