"Is it really you, Vin?" Mia asked the mysterious boy, who turned out to look just like Vin. She couldn't believe what she was seeing.

The boy made a very strange expression, and instead tried to avoid her question. "Mia, I've been trying to reach you for so long," He said with a smile.

Mia teared up again after what the boy said. She jumped up on him and cried out, "I thought I would never see you again. Thank you for coming to visit in my dream!" She hugged him tightly. "I was so lonely by myself!" It seemed like Mia undoubtedly believed that the mysterious boy was Vin.

They continued to hug for a while as Mia was crying.

"Have you calmed down?" He asked.

"Mhm..." Mia nodded.

"Then, let's get out of here," Said Vin as he pat Mia's head.

"Wha...?"

Vin drew his hand across right in front of them, and then their surroundings started to change. Suddenly, Mia found herself standing on a dock atop of a sparklingly clear sea. The space that used to be lonely and empty was now filled with soft sand and sea that was illuminated by the bright lights of the stars shining from the beautiful night sky up above.

Mia was speechless. Every corner that her eyes gazed at, were magically beautiful. “Vin… this is beautiful!” She just stood there with tears streaming down her face. In her head, a question surfaced, was she finally freed from the nightmares? From that space that she’d been every time she slept for the last few years?

Vin smiled at her and squeezed her hand tightly, “I've been waiting to show you this for so long.”

Mia smiled back, feeling the warmth from the other’s hand. She knew this was real, that she’s finally freed, “...you’ve saved me again.”

Mia could feel everything as though it was in real life. She was having so much fun, but she couldn't help but notice that the 'Vin' she was seeing had white shiny hair and eyes as blue as the ocean. She also saw that he was walking and running on his legs, even though they were supposed to be broken, but she just dismissed it no mind, thinking that maybe it's because she was in a dream.

The two rode on a boat together, floating atop of the sparkling blue sea. Mia took the opportunity to talk to Vin. "Vin, I have been missing you everyday. Ever since that day you left, I've always been thinking of you. It was hard and lonely, I wish you were there with me..." Mia teared up once again but she tried to hold them back. "Sorry, it's always like this, I am such a crybaby."

"Did you see the letters I've been writing to you? Is that why you came to visit me?" Asked Mia.

Vin went quiet upon hearing her question. Unable to answer her question, he just avoided eye contact and made a very bitter expression.

Mia was left confused by his sudden silence. "Vin...?"

"Ah, I'm sorry, What was it?" Vin turned back with a smile. "Oh, that's right, I miss you too!"

Mia noticed that he avoided her question but didn't pay much mind.

As they rode on the boat, Mia couldn't help but stare at Vin. "Umm... Mia, is something wrong? You've been staring at me for quite some time now."

"Not really," Mia shook her head. "I'm just curious about your hair and eye color, they look different."

"Ah... these?" Vin scratched his head. "Actually, I don't know either. Umm... do I look weird with them?"

"No, I just think you look good. You looked like an angel the moment I saw you."

Vin blushed. "Ahaha, you're saying embarrassing things."

As Mia was looking at Vin talking and laughing with her, reality hit her. The realization that she was in a dream and that she may not see Vin again after she woke up started to eat onto her. She felt uneasy.

"Vin, I don't want to wake up," Said Mia, with a sad expression. "I wish you were there with me, just like we used to be. I'm lonely by myself."

Vin grabbed Mia's hand. "Mia, from now on I will always be here, in your dream. I won't leave your side, I swear upon my name." He said with a determined look on his face. "Let's stay together from now on, at least in your dreams."

Vin's words helped Mia relax from her thoughts. She laughed and hugged him. "Haha, what are you saying?"

Vin blushed a little and hugged Mia back. "Hey, let's forget about the sad things! There's actually something I've always wanted to show you. Look here. Ready?" He pointed at the sea.

Suddenly, a gigantic blue whale jumped out of the water and swam around in the air on top of them.

Mia was astonished, her jaw dropped and her eyes were wide open, it was so beautiful, she couldn't let out a word.

"Woah!" Mia looked at Vin. "It's so beautiful, this is the first time I've ever seen a whale this close!"

"Yeah, it truly is beautiful," Vin smiled. "We can stay like this forever, Mia." He held her hand tightly.

------

Morning came, and for the first time in forever, Mia overslept. She could still vividly remember the dream, how she wished to stay there forever, afraid she would never have such a dream again. However, she was overjoyed by the fact that the dream had happened at all.

On that day, Mia walked to school with a wide smile on her face. The people who had known Mia were surprised because it was the first time they had ever seen her smiling. Everyone was whispering and staring as she walked down the hallway. Mia, still thinking about the dream, wasn't aware of her surroundings and just kept walking all the way to her class.

Everyone took their seats and class started.

BANG-

Vivi rushed through the classroom's door. "I'm sorry teacher, I'm late again-!!" She frantically apologized for being late. Vivi was always late every single day, but the teachers favored her and had never punished her for it, and so was this time.

As Vivi was walking to her seat, a classmate pulled her arm and whispered something into her ear. Vivi then suddenly had a big grin on her face and her eyes shifted to Mia.

Mia felt the gaze and tried to ignore it but Vivi kept staring at her with her silly grin for almost an hour.

At this point, Mia couldn't help it anymore so she gathered some courage and talked to her. "Uhmm... could you please stop staring at me? I can't focus on class, if you keep staring at me like that..."

Vivi's eyes gleamed and her grin became ten times as big upon hearing Mia speak. 'Oh my gosh! What a cute and nice voice!' She thought.

"Then... Can you please smile for me? If you do that, I will stop, hehe."
