Felix stared bewildered into the menu, the first thing he noticed apart from it resembling a game, which he frankly was expecting, was how close it resembled the upgrade menu from his favorite game ' Left Rain', the stats are all the same but they were some things that simply didn't make sense.

"Why the fuck does it say 22 years old?"

An important question alright, the Menu did indeed say 22 years old, after staring at it he decided to simply close the menu and open it again but it definitely still said 22years old.

There were a bit too many things to see so he decided to simply see if he could see the meaning of all these words, thankfully when focusing on the [Age: 22] option he got a new window opened on the side.

[Age: It indicates the Biological age of an individual according to the Rainy Calendar]

'Okay but what is the Rainy Calendar, you idiot'

[Rainy Calendar: The universal Calendar was established based on the translating motion of the world around the home star, it consists of 584 days across a total of 83 weeks divided into 7 days]

' It seems my age of 35 years got transformed into days and then got translated with this world 584 day long years, so it got its 22 years, but I still kinda cheated it's making me seem like a young adult instead of a seasoned adult! '.

Felix grumbled as he skimmed through the next options, he noticed that he could not get information out of stuff unless it was highlighted which was not great, he could not see information on his name, apparently, skills worked differently since it did not matter if they were highlighted.

' Anyways let me see what the fuck is going on here '

[LV (Level): Indicates how mature is one's soul and how much strain it can handle]

[HP (Health Points): Broad representation of one's physical and mental well being, it recovers by a fixed amount on normal conditions]

[MP (Mana Points): Representation of one's mana pool, it recovers by a fixed amount while under normal conditions, causes mental fatigue on low amounts]

[STA (Stamina Points): Representation of one's physical capabilities, it recovers by a fixed amount under normal conditions, recovers slower on low HP, Causes Physical fatigue on low amounts]

[Resources: Resources available for all sentient beings, if one of these resources becomes depleted the user dies]

' Damm it actually isn't the exact same, it's actually harsher than in the game '

The game does not have mechanics which involve [MP] or [STA] being strictly necessary for the survival of one's characters since they were way more expendable than [HP], but it seems that in this world you might as well have 3 different [HP] bars.

Felix could only grit his teeth at the insane difficulty that this posed, and began to sweat a bit, he understood that this wasn't the game exactly, he knew it since one of the titles basically told him that, but he still had hope for maybe a respawn mechanic. But now he just hopes that he will not die in a day.

He continued inspecting the menu on the Stats part

[Stats: Detailed representation of one's attributes, capabilities, and prowess in a multitude of parameters]

[Strenght: Representation of one's ability to apply force on something]

[Dexterity: Representation of one's ability to flex, move and coordinate one's body]

' Somewhat vague, I expected something along the lines of how much damage and what types of weapon I could hold but it's a lot broader than I thought...'

[Luck: Probability of how much one's could crossroads with fate (10 points = 1%), also affects the probability chances of  the system in favor of the user]

[Intelligence: Probability of how much one could manipulate their own fate (10 points = 1%), it also affects any mental process by fastening them or making them less straining]

' Okay, now I have no idea what does this means?'

It was actually terrifying how it was worded, the words fate carry too much meaning depending on the context, something that he definitely was lacking at the moment, and since the words fate was NOT highlighted he could not glimpse into it, at the end of the day and thinking on realistic terms if one drop rates increase one could say it was up to fate.

' it still bone-chilling to have that little luck but so much intelligence '

The part about manipulating Fate being part of Intelligence was also quite interesting, but nothing could be gained from it apart from it being an alternative to Luck.

[Speed: Representation of their maximum speed, it also represents how many STA points one can have (1 point = 10 STA points)]

[Endurance: Representation of how much strain can one handle while moving, it also indicates how much STA is replenished per hour (1 Point = 10 STA points per hour)]

' So this one is like in the game, one it's focused on capacity while the other on regeneration, it should be similar on the other stats then'

[Vitality: Representation of one's capability to continue living while in deadly circumstances, it also represents how much HP one can have (1 point = 10 HP)]

[Regeneration: Representation of one's capability to regenerate from deadly damage, it also indicates how much HP is replenished per hour (1 point = 1 HP per hour)]

[Arcane: Representation of one's capability to efficiently use mana and manipulated it, it also indicates how much MP one can have (1 point = 10 MP )]

[Attunement: Representation of one's to resist Mana Absorption, Mana Extraction, and Mana Exhaustion, it also indicates how much MP is replenished per hour (1 point= 1 MP per hour)]

' Well, this is interesting...

The stats themselves don't look too out of place, actually, they are the exact same if we exclude the first lines, I have no idea what the first lines of any of these actually mean since they are vague enough to make me guess, but they sound reasonable '.

[Skills: The repertoire of abilities, passive and active, that are available to the user through the use of the system and that reside in the soul]

' Again with not really useful descriptions '

[Mental Fortitude: Makes the user able to tolerate mental anguish of any kind]

[Meditation: Reduces mental strain and fatigue while relaxed or focused, it also increases the replenishing rate of MP by 10%]

[Pain Resistance: Reduces the effect of pain on the body, it does not reduce the feeling of pain]

Felix was very sure that these skills, including [Pain Resistance] were actually earned through his agonizing torture after opening the Stats menu, so he correctly guessed that skills like these can be earned through either being hurt or doing a certain activity, it probably also makes the level raise with repetition.

Felix grinned a little, he was a master at simple grinding stuff, he made a living from it so him getting some nice rewards from it would be cool, but this, of course, excludes the absurd situation he finds himself in.

On equipment, he could not see anything, at first was thinking that he was restricted from seeing the information about the object, but he soon realized that the system simply told him what he was wearing, that's it. If he wanted to learn what the hell were the objects that he had he needed something else.

' In the game, all the objects could be inspected for some juicy lore, there are some crazy restrictions in here '

Next eh decided to go with titles.

[Titles: a denomination for those who achieved something, all titles will give passive benefits but having an active title will give a special effect depending on how great the achievement was]

' These were in the game in the form of achievements, but here they seem a bit more personalized, but most importantly all of them have an effect even if not equipped, which is a plus '

[Otherworlder: The user walked through reality and arrived here unscathed! what a lucky guy!

Passive:  +500% on EXP bonuses towards language-related skills.

+1 to all Stats per LV.

Adjusted the Luck and Intelligence Stats to their adequate levels (+66 Intelligence, -8 Luck)

Gain 'Guest Items' adjusted to the user's future proportions.

Gain a weapon of the user's preference.

Active: +100% gained EXP from all sources.

            - For those who are stranded on the edges of reality and looked down by luck~ Administrador Daniela]

' I feel like it's mocking me '

The effects were actually pretty decent, he, of course, had no idea of what 'good' meant in this world but 500 of something generally was a decent amount in his book, so this is was a decent title even as a passive, the flavor text and the description of the achievement do mock him like what he did was actually intentional, but he could complain later.

[Arcane Survivor: The user survived metamorphosis after coming into contact with mana, how did he live without it? a miracle physical means! will you manipulate your fate even further?.

Passive:  -5 Attunement

                 -5 Regeneration.

                 +12 Dexterity

                 +7 Strength

Active:    +1 Luck for every 1% of missing HP below 50%.

+1 Intelligence for every 1% of HP above 50%.

           - For those who defied fate by their own will, and will continue to do so.]

' What the fuck? This sounds even better than the otherworldly thing, although I guess the luck and intelligence stats are not that cool since fate is so ambiguous that I don't even like it in any shape or capacity, whatever, I wonder what does having intelligence over 100 feels like'

Felix continued wondering why this title was so juicy and remembered the agonizing pain that he felt and proceeded to shut up.

[Forcibly Summoned Individual: The user was summoned by another individual without any consent! what a jerk.

Passive: +1 to all stats.

Gain a permanent +25 Strength upon killing your summoner.

Active:   +10 to all stats.

           - A boost for those who believe in their own freedom.]

' Actually, trash, is this how not amazing titles are? I guess the +1 is okay but is not what I expected, and most importantly who summoned me? '

Felix finished reading everything and he gazed upon the sky and wondered... who the fuck decided to summon specifically him out of everyone so that he can put a fucking target on their backs since he hated being transported in the literal middle of nowhere without even a hint of a hello, his gaze landed on the sun, and soon he realized something important.

' I'm going to get hungry aren't I? my luck is literally the worst '

At least he knew that his luck was fucked up, even the system confirmed it. Everything about it would be relatively normal if you take out... you know... the obvious impossibility of some weird title giving or reducing your capabilities as a person.

Also, he noticed a weird problem with this system, he knew that these titles did exist in the game but they were simply not collectible, you could only hold one at a time, so the negative effects will be noticeable if he gets too many bad titles that gave stats down. As for the flavor text of these titles, it gave him a very ' not good vibe '.

' It's smug aura... it mocks me'
