"What nonsense!? A devil in this era?"

One of the nobles, with an irritating face, tried to make me look like an idiot with his irritating shout. His face is like any common idiot that you can find elsewhere. A useless pebble among thousand. No, calling him a pebble will be an insult to a literal pebble

"You can see from the photo handed by the adventure guild, or does your greed for power and money finally blinded you both literally and figuratively" [Yuna]

I can simply brush him off, but knowing that barking noble, a good smack will usually bring them down in this situation. They are too comfortable throwing insults and yet, fail to handle one when it comes to their turn

Clicking his tongue, he tried to make a good comeback, trying his best to save his irritating face for the sake of winning the audience (as there are spectators from the commoners watching this meeting, curious regarding the rumoured devil controlling an amok elephant)

"Now then, I believe that's all there is to it for our report. If all that is left in this meeting is to bark at each other, then my companions and I will take our leave" [Yuna]

I have come to make my report. I know, being an S-rank adventure means more than just recounting what happened. We need to be more proactive, giving full analysis and talking about any room for improvement if a similar event happens in near future. Such is the weight of opinion and power held by S-rank adventure, but alas, the invitation was written simply to task me with reporting what had transpired in the underground dungeon, thus, I had fulfilled the purpose of my invitation

The longer I stay, the harder they will press Charlotte for more "information", something that neither one of us would like to see.

"Get back to your seat, our meeting is far from over"

I simply let that statement fly over my head, as I tell Mira, Rean, Elise, Farhah and Charlotte that we are done for today. They simply nod and do as I told

"Yuna, sit down now and let us talk further regarding..." [Crow]

"Regarding the devil, or about any one of us marrying you? Still, it's a no for both" [Yuna]

With that remark, the audience is left in frenzy once again, and Crow, wanting to save his face, simply chooses to stay silent. Smart move. This happens several times, and yet, their reaction is still the same. Ohh, they knew about it, they even knew the reason why I make such remark, and they simply love it. I bet most of them came here just to get a story worthy of gossiping. Who knows, maybe around 15% of the audience are concerned regarding the appearance of the devil

With that, we quicken our pace and take our ride back toward the adventure guild

(As usual... A useless meeting with a useless bunch...) [Yuna]

If they are serious about it, at least invite the guild master and the captain for it, and yet, they didn't even bother about it
