The curious Farhah keep on repeating the same question, almost in a state of scepticism regarding Charlotte's current condition

"Yes, but..." [Charlotte]

As if realizing something new, Charlotte pull the dress from her left arm, revealing something shocking

"What! I could have sworn you were cured back then!?" [Yuna]

I shout in disbelief. I couldn't believe my eyes, just then, I was feeling delighted by the fact that the black curse can be cured once and for all, and I still remember how eager I was to bring all four of them to the said device, but now, it felt like all hopes are suddenly sucked dried from me, as I stare at the mark of the black curse starting to form back in Charlotte's hand

"Maybe the process is incomplete?" [Rean]

"That could be the case here" [Elise]

"Then we should go to the device and let it suck our curse dry!" [Farhah]

"That, as well as the important feeling of mystery back then!" [Charlotte]

Unlike me, however, those four seem optimistic, and by the looks of it, they are so eager to go to the said device that they might sprint out from the house straight into the underground dungeon of the ancient tome

"Let us not be hasty. The soldiers from that city lord are still patrolling around the area. It will rouse suspicion of we were to went back there" [Yuna]

Even though I share their sentiment, I need to pull a break in their stead. After all, the way I leave the meeting this evening, giving almost no other clues regarding the underground dungeon meant that the city lord will dispatch his men to investigate the dungeon. Irritating move, but a logical one

For now, the best bet will be to let things settle down, and then we can all go there, that's the best bet, after all, just that

This has the potential to escalate further and further, and I am afraid that it will attract the attention of that dastard father and mothers, maybe even the royalty. Not only will they investigate the dungeon for "truth", but they might also monopolise the device for their selfish cause

Not only them but the church will also be involved as well, since the devil, after having long thought to be extinct, suddenly reappear. The new Saint and Saintess are God sent, as those two are one of the nicest people I knew, so I would be delighted if they are the ones that come, but for the remaining stain inside the system, God helps us all from their corruption. 

Just thinking about it makes my head hurt. But I do realize the sooner we act, the better it will be, maybe I should..
