Early 2015

It was a beautiful day as Mercury could be seen happily cooking some breakfast in his home in upstate new York 

After the events of last year you could say that Mercury has been been laying low due to the fact that he threatened the big shots of This world...

Yeah not a smart choice of words he used but Mercury wouldn't take back the words he used as he needs to make sure that they know there place, after all you cant be a hero without someone making you look the bad guy 

Mercury was putting his food and drink on the table and was heading to get a silverware when he unexpectedly heard footsteps approaching his house 

They knocked which made Mercury confused as the people who will visit were normally the avengers...they don't knock and the rest were taken care of by the security guards of this neighborhood 

"Yes?" Mercury said as he opened the door to see a women who had brown hair and looked stunning, she was currently wearing a brown trench coat with black boots, white t shirt and some black pants 

"Mercury" She said as she stood there in front of him in which Mercury just lifted his eyebrow "That's my name" he said in his English accent as he ditched the British one, and only used his British accent to charm some lady's

"Eternal" This made Mercury eyes wide open as the only people who should know were his team and Nick fury, even the public didn't know what race or what he was called as Nick fury never put it in his file 

"Who are you?" He said as his eyes started to glow gold and as the women just went inside the house bumping into his shoulder 

"The names Ajak, like you I am eternal, A prime one" once she said that Mercury instantly flew over here and grabbed her by the neck and started to choke her against the wall 

"A prime one Huh? I killed one of you before, it was to avenge my comrades...but that's not the worst of it, you know what is that you do so-" but before he could finish he let her go and putting his hands onto his head and kept repeating one word 

"No no no no no no no" 

"If your here then...that means-"  His brain clicked and started to turn as he turned his head towards the women who was currently standing there 

"No...not again" he said as he felt his sadness and anger rise back up again and recalled his memories of his last planet that he was on before he came here 

Flashback 

The blue sun was currently penetrating the space ship that was on a planet that had teeming with intelligent life, although intelligent they still couldn't grasp the way to inhabit on another planet

Mercury was currently on the planet as he was doing a quick check up that his leader told him to do, as he had power over the soul he could find out if any deviants were among the habitants, finally after finding nothing he went back up to enjoy another yet easy day but once he got onboard he heard grunting 

He entered the room and noticed his comrade that was like a sister to him being stabbed in the chest as she was weakly trying to muster up some power but she couldn't as she didn't feel anything 

"Strange right? You must be worried that you can't summon your weapons or make them" he said as Mercury slid over to the side and kept listening 

"It because of this" as he said that Mercury peeked over and saw a small golden ball with weird small markings 

"I had made Xel, upgrade this by threatening his family. Oh how you should've seen his face once I said what I wanted it to be" He then took his weapon that was made of gold out of her chest and kept talking to her 

"Interesting thing, did you know that not only is this for communicating with our creators, but it also has the power to absorb all our powers into one entity to make sure if anyone threatens we would be able to take them out?" Mercury just kept listening as his leader kept ranting on and on "isn't that right. Mercury"

Once he said this Mercury slowly entered the room and saw his 'sister' on the floor with her eyes closed and that's when his head started to hurt, it was showing him many images and memories 

"Ah yes, your finally remembering" he said as he kept walking around the room "Funny little thing, I knew all along just had to wait for you to show up" he pointed at Mercury "Believe it or not your name is know throughout the eternals, The one who Sees, That's what they call you, You could talk to the dead, get out information from them, and even summon them onto the land of living for a short period of time" Mercury just kept silent as he felt a tear drop escape his eye 

"Don't be sad you'll soon join her Mercury, i had to wait thousands of years just so I could team up with you and steal your powers, do you realize with your power you could basically raise up an army that's unkillable? And rule over this universe?" He said as he talked louder and kept walking around 

"I have had lovers throughout my life and saw them dead, yet you could say I can summon them" Mercury said as his head still hurt but could understand who he truly is now

"HAHA! Yes I gotta say it was interesting reading your memories when our creators rebooted you" he pointed at Mercury "So many life's, so many lovers, yet they still died" A sarcastic frown appeared on his face 

"Poor Mercury, Didn't even realize that you could've saved her by just escaping with her, but ignorance is bliss as the people of this world say it" He now stopped walking and faced Mercury 

"Once your powers are mine-" but before he could finish his sentence he was tackled by Mercury on the floor when a golden sword formed out in his hands 

"Ah, yes your soul weapon forgot you had that" he said as eye beamed Mercury in the gut which sent him flying back and as he made a raspberry sound "This is gonna get tricky" he said as he kept firing eye beams at Mercury but he blocked them with with his sword turning into a shield 

"You can't beat me Mercury, stop the struggling" He put more power as the Mercury started to get pushed back, Mercury move to the side and kept running as the laser kept following him from behind, he changed his weapon into a spear and threw it at His leader, Win, Into the shoulder making him wince in pain and with the spear back in Mercury hand 

While Win made a sound of pain his armor could be seen as untouchable by any weapon as it didn't have any scratches, but this was no ordinary weapon, it was a weapon made out of Mercury own soul

With the more people Mercury killed, his soul would get stronger making him harder to kill by magic, the weapon only attacks the soul so any physical barrier was useless against it 

"That's another reason I want your power, imagine how powerful your soul weapon could be if it could kill billions! It could probably take out planets, stars or even galaxies!" Win said while his voice kept rising 

"You have to stop win!, our creators-"

"OUR CREATORS LEFT US TO DIE OVER AND OVER AGAIN" Win spat back as he didn't let Mercury finish his stance "You seen it to right! Your memories have shown you!" 

Mercury just kept silent as he made his soul weapon into the shape of daggers 

"Your making this hard on you Mercury" Mercury just kept silent as he charged forward, he swung his dagger to Win head in which he ducked and was met with a dagger but he quickly moved to the side dodging the 2 swift attacks 

"Hard way it is then" win just sigh as he made a golden daggers and made a pose

"Let's see who has the most experience" Win said as he lunged foward to Mercury as his weapon kept colliding with Mercury,

"How?"

"How? It's because I stole a tiny bit of your powers when you summoned that lady who was killed, i infused it into my weapon, although not powerful as yours it could still block it" Win said as he blocked a swing and counted it by scratching Mercury cheek and eye beaming him in the eyes 

"You can't beat me Mercury!" Win stated as he open his arms wide 

"No I can't...but...that doesn't mean I won't stop trying to avenge our comrades that you killed" Mercury swung forward, win already predicted this and  was going to block it but he saw his move to a different angle and Hit win right into the chest 

Making him stumble back and kept clutching his head and his chest "A fake...good one..." he said as he stumbled back upright 

Minutes go by as the ship that they were currently on was deathly quiet as Mercury could be seen on the ground with a hole in his abdomen and win standing over him while clutching his chest 

"Heh, it's over Mercury" Win said as he closed his eye for a bit and a golden miniature ball came out from his neck

"I will go around the cosmo and steal our brother and sisters power until I become the strongest and make my own dimension while traveling the multiverse" Win said as the ball kept coming closer to Mercury but when it was about to go inside He saw Win crashing into the space interior with his head missing 

Mercury turned over and saw Xel, their technological eternal holding a weapon in one of his arms, he slumped down with the weapon making a thud sound and him breathing hard and heavy 

"Xel!" Mercury said as he called out to his friend on the other side of the room "Take...the...or..." That was the last word Mercury heard from his friend as the orb infront of him kept shinning until it was sucked into Mercury chest

Instantly his injury healed with him feeling all energized with memories

Mercury quickly got up and checked his friend to see him on the ground dead, and his sister also dead with Win being dead to, he kept walking around the ship and seeing all his comrades dead

His head started to hurt as the orb that he absorbed was making him see things, his powers that win stole, his friends memories and his ex captain goals and The memories of planets dying 

Flashback end

Mercury was brought back from his memories as his eye beams started to go crazy in every direction

Mercury house was split in many ways and when he finally calmed down he shot one more eye beam at the sky with the powerful wind knocking his house apart 

Ajak stood there with her head down as she knew why he was like this, he found out the truth and didn't like it that this world was soon to die to

"So this planet is done for...." Mercury said with his head slumped down 

"Your lost hope that easily?" She said with an accent 

"I lost it when I saw my memories of my loves dying in front of me for hundreds of times" Mercury spat back 

"And do you love someone now?"

"Why would I? if this planet is going to die...good thing I didn't get attached to anything" Ajak just shook her head "Your lying, Mercury, you have a team, a family that cares about you as much as you do to them" she said as Mercury just chuckled

"And what makes you think I would love someone, and the fact that I got attached to them?" 

"I don't, I just hope that you do so you could love with them" she said as she kept walking towards Mercury 

"Hope hope hope" Mercury said repeating those words with anger 

"What if there was a way to stop the emergence?" She asked Mercury in which he just snickered "Then I'll say that I hope your not lying"

"Like you, I got attached to this planet, I got to see the best and the worst of humans" She said as she kicked away house parts that were on the ground 

"I also got to see the miracles they performed" she stopped as she looked at Mercury who was still on the ground "Some of those miracles could make a special women out there for you to rest with her forever" Mercury stood up now looking down at ajak as Mercury was taller than her 

"If that's true...Then I hope she's out there" ajak just stood there and smiled 

"The emergence still needs some time, so I'll tell my friend who will replace me, to come and seek your help when the time comes" Ajak said as Mercury was about to say something but got caught off with his phone ringing 

"Yeah Tony? Im in the middle of something important"

"Well I hope to not important to stop us from taking back Loki scepter" 

"It's-" Mercury was about to say but ajak shook her head and walked away 

"When?"

"When? Like now, where? In Eastern Europe, Sokovia"

"I'll meet you guys there then" and with that Mercury ended the call and lept off with a sonic boom!
