Team CHSE are in their dorm room. Copper is standing at the window and he's looking out to the sky. Sam is tinkering with his weapon. Henry is on his bed with his face in his hands. Ecru is laying on her bed, looking up to the ceiling.
Ecru:"She couldn't have done it on purpose, right?"
Sam stops tinkering and he looks up.
Sam:"Yeah, she seemed really scared."
Henry sighs and he rubs his face.
Henry:"Something had to have happened, but we all saw what happened."
Ecru:"Henry!"
Henry:"What?! We saw here attack Mercury. I don't know what to believe anymore, so much has been going on recently."
Ecru huffs. Then everyone looks at their leader.
Ecru:"What do you think, Copper."
Copper sighs.
Copper:"She wasn't laying."
Sam:"You're sure?"
Copper turns to his team and nods.
Copper:"The look in her eyes, it was real fear and confusion. Something happened down there, could it have been someone using their semblance?"
Henry:"But we know no one with a illusion like semblance."
Ecru:"And how do you now by just looking at her eyes."
Copper sits down on his bed.
Copper:"I've learned to read the eyes of people, they give everything away."
Copper then gets up and heads to the door.
Copper:"But I think I'm gonna get some air."
Copper opens the door and he leaves his room. Out in the hallway he sees Ruby, Weiss, and Blake. Jaune is standing in the doorway of his dorm.
Copper closes the door behind him.
Jaune:"She doing okay?"
Blake:"She's doing the best she can."
Copper:"Well that's good."
Everyone turns to Copper.
Copper:"Hey guys."
Everyone:"Hey, Copper."
Copper he looks to the member of RWBY.
Copper:"You guys doing ok?"
They all nods and Copper smiles.
Ruby:"I heard Mercury and his team rushed back to Haven to be with his family. So, until they land, no one can really question him about what happened."
Ren:"If there's anything we can do, please don't hesitate to ask."
Ruby:"Alright then... if that's the case... Pyrrha?"
Pyrrha sits down on her bed.
Pyrrha:"Hmm?"
Ruby:"You be sure to win one for Beacon, okay?"
Weiss:"It's what Yang would want."
Copper:"Yeah, just be careful, if and when you go against Ecru, she won't go down easily."
Pyrrha smiles.
Pyrrha:"I'll do my best."
Ruby:"I'll be sure to watch tonight in case you're picked!"
Copper:"I'll be there too."
Blake:"Sorry, but I think I've had enough fighting for one year."
Weiss nods.
Weiss:"Ditto. Coffee?"
Blake:"Tea."
Blake looks to Copper.
Blake;"You want to come?"
Copper shakes his head.
Copper:"Hoy no. I'm just gonna go for a walk."
Blake nods and she and Weiss walk off. Ruby walks off and Copper sighs and heads in a different direction.
Copper gets outside and he takes off his hat and lets the wind blow through his Rusty red hair.
Copper:"Can we just have one normal school day?"
Copper puts his hat back on and he keeps walking; his tail sways behind him.
Later that evening
Copper is leaning against a tree. His hat is over his eyes.
Pyrrha:"Copper?"
Copper jumps and his tail tenses up.
Copper:"I didn't do it!"
Copper freezes and he takes his hat of his face and sees Pyrrha in front of him.
Copper:"Pyrrha?"
Copper puts his hat on his head.
Copper:"What do you need?"
Pyrrha walks over to the tree and leans against it. Copper notices the sad look in her eyes.
Copper:"You okay?"
Pyrrha sighs and clasps head hands together.
Pyrrha:"What do you think of destiny?"
Copper raises an eyebrow.
Copper:"What I think of Destiny?"
Copper puts a hand on his chin and he thinks.
Copper:"I think... I think that the beginning of our Destiny is set in stone, but after that.... we have to break the stone. We have to choose what our destiny is. If I'm destined to be a criminal, I'll break that stone and become a huntsman. I'll be the one in control of my destiny, not anyone else."
Copper looks at Pyrrha.
Copper:"What's with the sudden question?"
Pyrrha looks hesitant and Copper puts a hand on her shoulder.
Copper:"You can tell me anything, Pyrrha. We're best friends."
Pyrrha smiles and looks to Copper.
Pyrrha:"What if you had a choice, and this choice could change everything? Change who you are, what you want to do, but it could help a lot of people."
Copper hums.
Copper:"Well, just go with what your heart wants. Whatever you think is the best choice is the one you should make."
Pyrrha just nods and Copper checks the time on his scroll.
Copper:"We better go, the first round is about to start."
Pyrrha:"Right."
Later that night.
The crowd is cheering and it's just Copper and Ecru in aducance.
Copper:"Where's the other two?"
Ecru:"They wanted to get a few things from the store before they closed. They should be here soon."
Copper nods.
Oobleck:*P.A.* "Alright, it is now time to begin the randomization process for our next fight!"
The randomizer begins to spin.
Port:*P.A.*"It looks like our first contender is..."
The first one stops on Penny.
Port:*P.A.* 'Penny Polendina from Atlas!"
Copper:"oh, she's a good fighter."
Port:*P.A.* "And her opponent will be..."
The randomizer stops on Pyrrha.
Port:*P.A.* "Pyrrha Nikos from Beacon!"
Ecru:"This is gonna be an awesome fight!"
Copper:"I wonder who'll win? They're both good at fighting."
The stage rises and Ecru and Copper cheer.
Copper:"Now this'll be a fight to remember!"
