The happy times are coming to an end for Noel as her school trip ever approaches. It is a fact of life that pain and suffering will catch up to all of us. But there is hope for those who learn to grow from that pain rather than hide from it. It is inescapable, but it is tolerable for those who do not ignore it.

While no one can predict the exact tragedies that will mark their life, they can prepare themselves themselves for the inevitability of suffering as human nature. What makes it easier to accept and grow from the suffering is if we learn that it becomes even easier to endure such hardships if we are not alone. Together, we are stronger.
