“Get ready Gohan, it looks like we are going to have to face him.” Krillin said

“Right, me and Raditz will head out soon.” Gohan said looking at Raditz who nodded at him before Gohan hung up the phone.

“What’s going on Gohan, where are you guys going?” Chi-Chi said looking at Gohan and Raditz

“It looks like Kakarot didn’t kill Frieza and now he’s heading here.” Raditz explained to Chi-Chi

“So, what you think that I will allow Gohan to go and fight that evil man after listening to everything he did on Namek. Well, you have another thing coming if you think I’ll allow my Gohan to go and face that evil man again.” Chi-Chi said standing up and putting her hands on her waist.

“Chi-Chi, we need all the help we can get if we want to take him down.” Raditz said looking at Chi-Chi

“No, absolutely not, I’ve allowed him to train with you as long it he doesn’t fall behind in his studies and if he goes out and fights that man then he might die, and I don’t want that.” Chi-Chi said getting angry

“Mom… if we don’t try and stop him then he will destroy the planet and then we all die. Wouldn’t it be better if we all go and stop him that way the earth has a chance to survive, and I can keep studying that way.” Gohan said looking up at his mom

“… fine Gohan, go but you are going to be doing double the assignments for the next two weeks understood.” Chi-Chi said looking down at him.

“Yes, ma’am, where’s my saiyan suit?”  Gohan said

“It’s under your bed son.” Chi-Chi sighed as Gohan left to go get the suit, he heard his mom talking to Raditz. “You better promise me to protect him ok.” Chi-Chi said

Gohan went to his bed and saw the box and something else, he pulled both things out from under his bed one was his sword which he used for his survival training, “Wow, I forgot I still had this.” Gohan said holding the sword remembering how useful it was to him. “I’ll leave this on my bed for now.” Gohan said as he placed the sword on his bed

 Gohan then opened the box inside it was the saiyan suit he wore on Namek. Gohan took it out and put it on as he headed outside where Raditz was waiting for him. “Ready?” Raditz asked looking at Gohan

“Yes.” Gohan said as he and Raditz started flying away

“You two be careful ok.” Chi-Chi and Launch shouted after them

“Raditz who’s the other power level with Frieza?” Gohan asked as they flew past a city, heading towards the two large power levels

“Hey, guys behind you.” Krillin shouted as he closed in behind them

“Krillin.” Gohan and Raditz both said

“Hey, guys I can’t believe he’s still alive, and it looks like he brought some help.” Krillin sighed as he looked forward,

“Yeah, if I’m not mistaken that second power level… should belong to his father King Cold.” Raditz said looking forward with a frown

“He has a father!” Krillin shouted in surprise

“Yeah… and a brother as well named Cooler… I’ve never met the brother but last I heard they don’t get along well so chances are it’s just Frieza his father and a bunch of weak minions.” Raditz said as they started flying over some water

“Damn it, we had enough problems fighting Frieza and now we have to fight his father as well… Goku where are you.” Krillin said looking up into the sky.

“I don’t know where he is but hopefully, he’s on his way.” Raditz said

They continued to fly as fast as they could towards the location the power levels seemed like they were going to land. Gohan, Raditz, and Krillin flew overhead and saw Tien, Chiaotzu, Yamcha, Puar, Bulma, Vegeta and Piccolo already waiting. They were all waiting near a rocky wasteland as Gohan and the other two landed by them.

“Hey guys.” Bulma said running up to them

“Is there any word from Goku?” Yamcha asked as they walked up to the group

“No, there’s no word from my dad yet.” Gohan said shaking his head

“So, guys are any of you wondering who that second large power level is?” Yamcha said looking scared

“I believe it’s his father’s King Cold, but I’m not sure I’ve only met him once.” Raditz said

“Oh, wow even Raditz is here too, well you could prove to be a handy meat shield.” Vegeta said with a smirk, “But to answer your question, Raditz is right it’s Frieza’s father King Cold.” Vegeta said

“Nice shirt Vegeta, really suits the prince of the saiyans.” Raditz said smirking at Vegeta who was wearing a pink button up shirt and yellow pants. Vegeta seemed like he was going to say something, but he was interrupted.

“HE’S HERE!” Piccolo shouted Frieza’s spaceship emerged from some clouds and flew overhead as everyone looked up at it in shock. The ship flew past them and head past a ridge as it started landing, Bulma fell to her knees holding Puar as she started crying.

Everyone was frozen stiff wondering what they could do against Frieza, “We can’t make any mistakes; we need to keep our power levels suppressed or Frieza will see us coming ok.” Vegeta said as he looked back at the group

Gohan didn’t know what to do, he felt that Frieza’s power level was stronger than when Gohan fought him on Namek. Gohan was starting to doubt himself when he felt a hand placed on his shoulder as he looked back, he saw Piccolo on his right side smiling at him “Don’t worry Gohan nothing bad will happen to you while I’m still alive ok.” Piccolo said with a smile

“You took the words right out of my mouth Piccolo.” Raditz said as he walked up and placed a hand on Gohan’s other shoulder, “Gohan you are my nephew, and I might not be able to do much, but I promise you I won’t let anything happen to you either ok.” Raditz said with a smile

Gohan felt himself calming down, as he nodded to them both, “You guys must be crazy if you think we can beat them based on the amount of power I’m feeling and there’s two of them. It’s suicide to attack them.” Yamcha said as he started freaking out

“You have no choice but to fight him, or else he will find us and kill us all.” Vegeta said turning his head to look back at the group with a smile

The warriors were all moving slowly towards the ridge Frieza landed at they didn’t want Frieza’s scouters to find them if they used their energy to move. While they were moving towards Frieza they felt a third power appear that was larger than Frieza and King Colds.

“What’s going on guys?” Bulma asked looking at everyone worried

“There’s a new power level ahead and it makes Frieza’s, and his fathers seem like nothing.” Krillin said  

“Do we really need to do this; can’t we just turn around.” Yamcha said as his voice started shaking.

“Be, strong Yamcha.” Tien said as the ground around them started shaking as the third power level started rising higher.

“Whoever that person is it looks like they are starting the fight without us.” Yamcha said

“I wonder who is strong enough to take on Frieza and how come we have never met them before.” Krillin said

“Maybe it’s Kakarot, he is a Super Saiyan, after all.” Raditz said as an explosion and a large cloud of smoke appeared in front of them.

“Well, we won’t know by staying here let’s go and see what’s going on.” Vegeta said running forward. Gohan and the others ran after Vegeta trying to see what was going on ahead.

Gohan and the group got to a cliff and saw a huge ball of light come crashing towards the earth, “Everyone hit the deck!” Krillin shouted, as a strong gust of wind flew past them as they all did their best to not be blown away by the wind.

After the wind died down the group started moving forward again, Gohan and the others had finally reached the battle and Gohan looked up and saw three figures in the air, “They are up there.” Gohan said pointing into the air, where one of the figures was cut into many pieces by someone carrying a sword before the pieces were all destroyed by a ki blast.

“He defeated Frieza… effortlessly, who is he?” Vegeta said looking up in shock,

“Whoever he is; he is a Super Saiyan.” Gohan said looking up at the second figure who was surrounded by a yellow glow just like Goku when transformed back on Namek.

“That can’t be, there are only 4 saiyans left counting you kid; so, there’s no way he’s a Super Saiyan.” Vegeta said before he took off flying into the air as the last two figures flew down to the ground

Gohan and the others took off after Vegeta trying to get closer to the battle to see who the mysterious fighter was.

Gohan and the others got closer and saw the mysterious fighter, blast a hole in King Cold who looked just like Frieza when he was in his second form.

“He killed Frieza and now his father!” Krillin said in surprise as the mysterious man fired another blast at King Cold killing him, before firing another blast at Frieza’s ship blowing it up.

The smoke from the explosion started to clear up and standing on a cliff was a man with yellow spiky hair, green eyes, yellow aura, he was wearing black pants, with a black shirt, with a blue jacket and he was carrying a sword. The yellow aura around him disappeared as his hair turned purple and he turned around to look at the group.

“I’m going to go meet Goku do you guys want to come?” the man said, smiling at the group.

“Did he say my dad, how does he know my dad?” Gohan asked looking at the man

“I don’t know Gohan, I’ve never seen this guy before, and we’ve known you dad for most of his life.” Krillin said

(AN: I didn’t forget about Piccolo’s power up at the end of the last volume, I realize that with that with that power up Piccolo would be the strongest warrior now, so you might be wondering why Piccolo didn’t just handle Frieza himself. That’s simply because Piccolo didn’t want to go in blindly like when he fought Frieza on Namek after fusing with Nail, especially since he felt two large power levels, he decided to be cautious instead of rushing in. I know that this chapter dragged on I was halfway through writing it when I thought to myself what I’m I doing I could just skip all this and go straight to when they are waiting for Goku, but I said screw it and finished writing it.)
