As you have slept in a bed, your HP and MP are restored and all status effects removed. Came the pop-up message when Issei opened his eyes. He mentally dismissed it and groggily rubbed his eyes and moved to his bathroom to do his daily activities and had breakfast with his parents and moved to his room to plan his next moves. His parents didn't mind him going to his room as it is routine for Issei.

Issei's Room

'Let's see. I have new skills like Telekinesis, Blunt weapon mastery and my original skills Shapeshifting and Wood, Water and Earth styles and sweet, wonderful Chakra. Hmmm, what would be the best course of action here? I can practice my skills for 2 months to level up and practice my skills after that, then I should go to school.

When thinking about Kuoh High, there is the matter of Devils and what to do with them and my standing with them. Surely they won't be like, let another supernatural being exist in their territory without any measures and definitely not a powerful one like me with a possibility of being a Sacred Gear holder.

And if what I saw in anime is going to happen, I should prepare myself for everything that is to come.' Issei thought in deep thought. 'The best thing to do now would be to awaken my sacred gear and meet Ddraig.' He determined.

'Huh. Seems like I'm on the right path then. How to do it though. In the anime, Issei activated it by thinking about Kamehameha and he was in a life and death situation then. But I don't have a situation like that and I don't have time to come up with an idea to do it.

Maybe meditation will do it for me. Generally, according to anime logic, when people have some kind of powerful beast or power sealed in them, they can achieve it by meditating. Let's try it then.' Making his mind up, he decided to test.

Issei sat comfortably on his bed instead of sitting cross-legged in a meditative position with his hands intertwined. He started to clear his mind and continued to filter his thoughts for few minutes while concentrating inwards on his desire to meet Ddraig.

Because of a certain act, a new skill 'Meditation' is created.

The ability to calm yourself and divert your concentration inwards to achieve something greater. Allows the user to calm themselves and think things through on the battlefield.

-Passively, permanently increases Chakra, MP and HP pools by 10%.

He mentally dismissed the tab and concentrated inwards for few more minutes.

He pressed the 'Yes' button and waited. His consciousness was shifted to that of a fire-filled area with bright orange flames engulfing from all sides and in the middle was a big, Red Dragon. Issei knew it is Ddraig from his foreknowledge.

Ddraig is a dragon with the appearance of a large red Western Dragon, with a long neck and glowing green eyes. He also has red and golden spikes throughout his body. He is 50 meters in height and 10 meters in length.

The said red Dragon is staring at him with no emotion in those slitted green eyes of his. Issei faced it head-on without an ounce of fear. Ddraig stared for few more seconds and suddenly... laughed? He laughed for some time. Issei just stared at him dumbfounded.

"It is nice meeting you, Issei, or should I say Aurva?" Ddraig asked in amusement in his natural guttural voice.

"It is nice meeting you as well, Ddraig. You can call me whatever you want. But according to what I know about you, you like to call your hosts partners. Isn't it correct?" Issei asked in a calm tone.

"Yes, I like to call my host's Partner and I'll call you the same."

"So, tell me, did you see my memories, Ddraig?" Asked Issei.

"Yes, partner. I've seen them. But I still couldn't understand. How is this possible? To be reincarnated into a new world and with an ability like 'The Gamer'. It terrifies me. If you train well, you could become one of the strongest soon." Ddraig said in an awestruck tone. It is true really. His Gamer ability is really a broken one.

If he didn't get an explanation from the System about the basics, he would still be thinking about this weird thing for sure. To have a body that has no restrictions and allows you to grow and adapt to anything quickly with a mind which allows the user to remain rational and logical at the same time is nothing to scoff at.

"But, I'm happy about how you've managed to steal a gem of Albion and in turn stole his abilities and used them especially when you went into that Juggernaut Drive. It is awesome really. I didn't really expect to use Albion's power like that in my whole life. It increases my pride as a Dragon and I'm happy to have you as my host.

Though I didn't like Issei as he is just obsessed with Breasts and got me the name 'Breast Dragon Emporer'." said Ddraig in what I assume as a hate full tone. Issei laughed at it.

"Don't worry about it Ddraig. I won't bring you such a name. But I want to ask you some things and want to plan the future correctly, without any delay. As we have only 2 months to prepare." Aurva/Issei said in a serious tone to which Ddraig nodded back on track and they both sat face to face and began.

"Let's see. We have 2 months to prepare. I'll explain all my skills and then we can begin discussing how to use them." Aurva said and began to explain all his skills.

"So, what do you say we should concentrate on first? I think improving my skills and grinding some and again improving skills and so on. I think starting with Telekinesis and Wood style is good. You saw about Wood-style didn't you?" Issei asked Ddraig who nodded.

"Yes, it is a pretty powerful one. I'm surprised by the number of powerful abilities present out there. I didn't expect there to be that number of worlds out there and even now, it stuns me to see you stand in front of me. As per Wood Style, you can use it for pretty much anything as everything is made of stone and wood mostly these days. But I think that's better to learn Shapeshifting.

As the system explained, it is a good ability which allows you to change your body to anything you want. Don't you think practising that is a good idea? It will also help you in mastering your Wood Style passively as well." Ddraig explained and Issei thought about it. What Ddraig said is true and even the system praised it as a good and ancient technique. Then he should practise Shapeshifting and Wood Style first then.

"Yes, I agree. But the problem is where should we do it. I can't go out often as my parents may think I'm behaving weirdly and may doubt something is wrong and training here is an absolute no, no as I don't know how to do it and how it affects the outside me.

And then there is the problem of Devils detecting magic. If they sense me practising, it would be useless." Issei said, ticking off every reason he can come up with. He knew 'Issei's parents' would doubt him if he did something out of ordinary suddenly and then a window popped in front of them.

"Huh, Purgatory?" Issei was confused but pressed yes. He forgot about this completely in his excitement to meet Ddraig. They were transported to a place that Issei can only describe as Paradise.

The entire area is filled with lush green grass and a castle in the middle with red tiles in the form of a red Dragon and a large cave beside it which was surrounded by flames like they were protecting it. Beside the castle, there was a large screen showing his room in his house facing the door. From his point of view.

Welcome to Purgatory, Gamer. This is once named Paradise. But because of the user becoming the host of The Red Dragon Emperor, it has been changed to Purgatory. Do you wish to change it back to Paradise? The system asked.

Ddraig's body disappeared in red light and formed as a red gauntlet with two yellow spikes in front of him with a green jewel in the middle of the gauntlet. And the Dragon himself reformed in the cave beside the castle.

"Ah. This is nice, Partner. You can change it. It is you who is going to be here anyway. I've got my comfortable lair here." Ddraig said in an amused satisfaction.

Issei pressed 'yes' and began his work. He changed all the white light surrounding the area into a golden one. He changed the tall Red Dragon Castle into a King's castle with Red, White, Blue and Green colours dominating it with a large Dragon Sign on the roof with white background.

The outer end of the castle is outlined with black tiles and decorations. He rearranged the castle into multiple levels for all purposes with the most luxurious designs he had seen in his life, past and present.

He also added facilities like a library, swimming pool, hot springs, a gym, a movie theatre, a sports cavity with all kinds of sports fields in it and large garden in front of the castle and all types of game courts which to name a few consists of football, cricket, basketball, volleyball, badminton and tennis.

He also built a large training ground with nearly 500 meters in radius. And cloned them to use for different purposes. After few more tinkerings here and there, he managed to finish the changes before evening. All this was possible because of a screen that appeared in front of him when the quest alert came.

Congratulations. You have unlocked a new feature called the Shop. You can use the shop to buy or sell all the loot items you got from dungeons. And Autoloot is now enabled. You can buy items using your currency. Autoloot can be disabled by going into the options menu. The system explained.

Time Ratio Passive Lvl 1 (0.0%)

Time Ratio allows the user to increase the flow of time of a dungeon as per their likes. This also applies to instant dungeons as well. You can increase the ratio by levelling up. An increase in 5 levels will result in adding 1 to the Ratio.

Current Time Ratio 2:1.

'Shop. Huh. I'll look into it and if there are any items I need, I'll buy them. And time Ratio allows me to change the time speed in the dungeon. Time runs 2 times faster here which means 2 hours here is equal to 1 hour in the outside world. Man, that is a good ability.'

'And I had ¥158,000 in total. Which is not much if you convert to real-world usage. So I'll see the shop when I have more yen.' He decided.

'Now for Gram. Let's see what it can do.' Issei thought, opening his inventory and took out Gram and the book that came with the sword. He want to learn it so he decided to practise now. He clicked to learn the skill usage of gram. When the box appeared.

The User can't learn this skill as it requires 100 points in Strength and Dexterity. Read the window in front of him.

He sighed. He should have expected this. Such a powerful sword can't be used right from the beginning without any drawbacks and it would give him easy wins. He sent it back to his inventory and opened the shop and searched for anything useful.

He can't be weaponless and so decided to buy a basic sword from the shop and scrolled through items to weapons and found a sword. He opened it and read about it.

He clicked 'yes' and just like that it completed.

Normal sword and a skill book on different sword styles are added to the inventory. Came the voice of his gamer system confirming his purchase.

He sighed and dismissed the window. He looked at his left hand and sighed. It's time to activate his sacred gear. Till now the gauntlet just appeared in front of him, floating beside him while Ddraig was resting in the cave which symbolises his contact with Ddraig but not his Sacred Gear.

"Are you ready Ddraig?" Issei asked in excitement.

"Yes, partner. Let's do this." Ddraig said from the comfortable cave.

Issei pulled back his left hand and charged it forward in a piercing motion and called-

"Boosted Gear". The Dragon in the cave vanished from the cave and appeared in the gauntlet, with all its features tinted in crimson aura with a green magic circle forming on it.

BOOST. Came the familiar voice of Ddraig as a red gauntlet materialised on his left arm. So many windows popped up in front of him.

Congratulations. You have unlocked your sacred gear. The Boosted Gear.

Boosted Gear (Passive/Active) Lvl 1 (0.0%)

The red gauntlet of the Red Dragon Emporer, Ddraig Y Goch. He is one of the two heavenly dragons and is the arch-rival of the Vanishing Dragon, Albion. The Boosted Gear is a Mid-Tier Longinus class sacred gear with the ability to kill a god. As a Longinus, it is also called a God killing weapon.

-When Passive, it grants the user Boost in HP, MP and CP by 10% for every 5 levels gained using the gauntlet.

-When Passive, it increases all stats by 10% for every 5 levels gained using it.

-When Active, it grants the user the ability to double their strength every 10 seconds.

-When Active, it allows the user to transfer their boosted power to allies.

-When Active, it generally allows the user to boost anything they want every 10 seconds.

-On reaching Lvl 50. ? will be available.

-On reaching Max Lvl ? will be available.

-Current Physical limit is 2 boosts.

-Note: The Boosted strength only lasts for 10 minutes at max and depends on the physical condition of the user or any person it is transferred to. When the boosted power leaves, it leaves the user exhausted.

"Damn, those are some powerful abilities that the Boosted Gear has and a passive boost to my HP, MP, Chakra and stats every five levels gained takes the cake. So reaching Lvl 50 unlocks the Balance Breaker and Max lvl would be 100 I think would allow me to use Juggernaut drive. What do you say Ddraig? Aren't these useful against Vali?" Issei asked with a smug smirk.

"Yes, partner. These are some powerful abilities to have. And I think you are right about Balance Breaker and Juggernaut Drive."

"We should increase my experience with it and we will have everything in our hands," Issei said excitedly. He is going to be prepared for everything to come and start his training.

Few Hours Later

"Issei, it is time for lunch." Came the call of his mother from his room. He saw it through the monitor and excited his Paradise and after lunch came back to his room and told her not to disturb him till dinner.

Paradise

Issei entered his Paradise and went through a mental checklist of his skills and decided to practise Wood-style first as it allows him to do various techniques.

"Ok Ddraig, I'm going to practice Wood-style as it gives me various techniques after that we'll work on Shapeshifting and my magic usage," Issei said to Ddraig. Ddraig agreed. As the skills are already at Max level they need less training and more experience to use them efficiently. Issei started his practice.

"Wood style: Wood Clone Jutsu," Issei called, imagining a clone of him forming from Wood. A clone popped up from his body though it is not perfect, it at least felt real to touch.

Because of a repeated act, a sub-skill is created.

Sub-skills -

- Sub-skills are skills formed from a main skill. User can refer to them as Jutsu from a Nature Release. The Sub-skill aids in using the skill proficiently.

- Any Jutsu made from Wood/Water/Earth styles would be considered sub-skills to the respective styles and appropriate chakra costs will be applied.

- Mastery of the element will also apply to the sub-skills.

- Mastering sub-skills will also help in increasing the mastery of the main skill.

A new sub-skill 'Wood Clone' is created.

Wood Clone (Active) Experience (0.0%)

A clone is created by using chakra to alter the user's cells into vegetation. The clones can be as simple in function as a wooden dummy for use in the Body Replacement Technique or completely mobile and able to perform jutsu.

They can travel far from the user and can communicate with the original. By directly touching the wood clone with their hand, the user can change the shape of the wood clone and it doesn't disappear when hit and takes the damage to a certain degree.

CP Cost: 25

'Oh yes. I can create sub-skills now? Well, they are just Wood Jutsu, so ok, I guess now to Master it.' Issei thought and practised it for another hour and his experience went to 25%. His Chakra reserves which were 500 before, and 550(now) points because of the Boost after unlocking the Boosted Gear were doing well.

Issei didn't even spend 1 extra point of his chakra as his chakra recovery rate is 6% pm or 33 points and the cost to make a Wood Clone is 25 points. So, its chakra cost is practically none.

As his experience increased, its chakra cost decreased and currently stands at 15 points peruse. He also practised the Reinforced Wood Clone technique. Which is not much different but is stronger than a normal Wood Clone. But it has double the Cost.

Due to repeated performance of certain acts, a new sub-skill has been created.

Sub-skill 'Reinforced Wood Clone' has been created.

Reinforced Wood Clone (Active) Experience (0.0%)

A reinforced wood clone is a wood clone with more chakra and it can also perform more techniques than a normal clone. It is more durable than a normal wood clone.

CP Cost: 50 points.

His mastery increased to 15% and cost decreased to 45.

'Man, that was something. To level up these sub-skills is not a small thing to scoff at. Let's see if I remember it correctly, then there are Kawarimi(Substitution) Jutsu and Leaf sticking exercise. Which are like basic Shinobi techniques. And when it comes to Henge or Transformation Jutsu, I can use my Shapeshifting to change into them. Let's practise it as well then.' Issei decided asked continued.

6 Hours Later

He created 3 new skills and levelled them up. His Kawarimi is at 10 while his Meditation to lvl 5. And Leaf Sticking exercise was maxed out as it was basic chakra control and he had some control over his chakra which came with Wood style. He did it in half an hour and concentrated more on the Transformation technique.

Kawarimi no Jutsu (Substitution) Active Lvl 10 (14.35%)

Kawarimi no Jutsu is a basic Ninjutsu technique. When in danger the user will quickly substitute themself with another nearby object. This can be a block of wood or even another person. This allows the user to quickly flee and hide while the original object takes the brunt of their opponent's attack.

Chakra cost: 5 per use

Leaf Sticking Exercise (Active) Lvl Max

The Leaf Sticking exercise is a basic chakra control exercise and increases chakra control and reserves by an overall 10%.

Transformation (Active) Lvl 20 (54.09%)

Shapeshifting. Transformation is one of the abilities used when the user can shapeshift. It allows the user to change into anyone they can imagine. MP cost depends on the size and time transformation is maintained.

Creation cost depends on the size the user transforms.

Maintenance cost 65 MP per minute.

It was at first 75 MP per minute when created. But decreased to 65 MP when increased its level to level 20.

His MP is at least manageable. He had a total of 550 points in his MP with a 10% recovery rate. Though the skill consumed his magic at first, he brought it down to manageable levels.

His meditation has gone by 5 levels. Which resulted in his recovery rate increasing to 50% when active. He also practised Telekinesis during his time breaks and levelled it up to level 10. Which increased his portable weight to 100 pounds and Cost 9 MP per minute.

It has been 3 hours in the outside world and 6 hours in his Paradise with the use of his Time Ratio and Issei is grinding his skills like there is no tomorrow. He went to the gym and started doing physical exercises. He did them for another 2 hours and increased his Strength by 5 points and Dexterity by 3 points. He did weights and speed training mostly.

Issei also added weights to his body to increase his muscle mass. Currently, they were 20 pounds on each limb. Total 80 pounds. He want to buy magical weights so that they can't be detected when he had enough money. There are quite a few things he wants to buy but he concentrated to increase his stats for now.

"Any thoughts, Ddraig?" Issei asked his Dragon partner.

"First, we'll train your body and increase your limit and then we'll increase your level. How much time do you suggest for training? Because we have only 2 months in total." Ddraig asked curiously.

"Let's say 2 weeks in real-world time. That gives us 6 weeks approximately to increase our level before school starts. I think that would be enough. And in those 6 weeks, we'll go to the real world and hunt in dungeons and whatnot, to increase our experience in combat.

That would be enough for us to be able to pick up with the Devils in town. And I'll try to achieve the Balance Breaker. We shouldn't forget about our wonderful plan, Ddraig, we are going to find our little old Vali in our vacation as well. Oh, that shocked look on his face will be priceless." Issei said with a dreamy face.

"Anyway, we'll train here for 2 weeks in real-world time which gives us at the current time ratio a month to train. Though with training I believe it will increase as well." Issei said and Ddraig agreed.

But the look of seriousness when he mentioned Vali was not missed by Ddraig. Ddraig is curious about the feelings Issei has for Vali. He is going to wait and see. Issei ignored windows popping up till now and opened each one.

'5 points? Are you kidding me?' Issei thought in amazement.

Issei thought about it. It's not like he will fail but thinking before making a decision is a good way of making decisions and pressed the yes button and continued his training. He didn't see the quest reward properly in his deep thought about his training.

And so began the training of the Red Dragon Emperor of this generation to become the Strongest beings in the world.
