'To live and To Die. That is the way of the traveler."

       -The Changkuai  Youke

"Haha!" I laughed outloud as I drank from my gourd of water. As I walked around The Forest of Lights1The Forest of Lights well known for their illuminating fauna and flora. These fauna and flora fill the night with lights as if they were surrounded by bright snowflakes. , I pulled out my map deciding upon my next destination. As I read down the list of destinations a name caught my eye. Denglong, paper lantern... interesting I heard quite a few things about them from nearby wanderers. As I read it's content I could only grow more and more interested.

"Known for using ambient lights and their masterwork paper lanterns to create beautiful sights and festivities. The Festival of Ambient Life is said to be in the 4th of the Lautum Cycle. Sounds interesting." I muttered right before deciding right then and there to dance. As I danced upon the leaves I nearly stumbled near a flock flowers. But right before I fell I imbued the Dao of movement into my toes. Each individual muscles flexed instinctively as if a rabbit was facing it's natural predator before I channeled it's direction into forwards allowing me to jump towards the top of a tree, avoiding it and the ground.

(I do not own the image above and if you're having problems try right clicking it and open it into a new tab)

As I stood up I realized how sturdy the leaves were as if they were platform. As I looked around I saw several gigantic spiraling trees with flower petals2The Alo Merra is a parasitic plant that leeches on the lifeforce from the gigantic trees and the bugs they occasionally eat for substance. Their constant diet of lifeforce results in it overflowing with lifeforce with a couple hundred years of lifespan. Due to this it's a valuable herb for those who commonly use the Life Dao and Cultivators of nature/life related paths. These flowers have different shades and hues of red taking in many shapes and forms. Commonly found om top of the towering gigantic trees in the Forest of Lights due to their abundance of life forcefound everywhere. Though it should be noted that in the Forest of Lights the Alo Merra has been adapted to absorb and convert light into life force to. bursting from it's leaves along with fungi sprouting from it's bark.  Closely inspecting the flora I realized there was bugs trapped in the flowers their lifeforce draining away. Standing up I realized there was vine-shaped moss3The Wischera is often mistaken as a vine with moss-like texture though though 3rd Tier Cultivators or Cultivators with powerful paths can easily see through this. The Wischera is filled with lifeforce and absorbed light. It's most abundantly found in places heavily attuned to/heavily filled with lifeforce and light. Their rare combination of Life and Light Dao's give them a unique but vital use in several rare practices and Paths. They also have a blue crystal hue at the end looking like blue crystal tears at pitch black night especially when it emits light to warm itself at cold temperatures. dangling from the trees with a crystal blue hue right near the end. I raised my hand and inspected it realizing how attuned it was to the Dao of Life and Light. Letting go I began to ponder about my situation and how to get out of it. I could try jumping tree to tree using the Dao of movement but that would take to much Chi even for a 2nd Tier Immortal Path4The Immortal Path is a difficult path taken by cultivators as The Immortal Path has several difficult approaches with even Sub-Paths(some of which are considered legendary due to their ability simplify the difficulty of the immortal path. Though most is mainly just sticking with a philosophy to the point of insanity or  harmonizing ones soul and mind with their respective Dao and/or world. Widely considered to be the most difficult yet strongest path commonly available. Even at higher tiers expect the Immortal Path's energy, insight, and amongst other things to be one or two tiers higher with their  wisdom and knowledge being 3 tiers higher than most paths. However the path is straightforward and unlike most reaching the 10th does not gave much reward aside from Immortality and enlightenment. But these two are considered to be more than worth it. Cultivator like me. Maybe I could use these vine-like moss to swing around the forest but if let go for even a single millisecond... eh whatever. I took hold of it and-

Jumped off! As I swing my moss around the forest as saw a variety of paper lanterns, fauna, and flora. The moss was extremely long as it could've entangled several trees and cover several miles whole. The forest was illuminated by more than a thousand different species and paper lanterns paving away the path towards the village. Then I heard a snap I looked back and saw the vine break with light bursting from it's broken parts.

"I hope this doesn't break..." I said right before using the Dao of Movement to keep it flowing steady through the air as if it were a glider despite the ever increasing speed, giving me just enough time to grab upon another moss. As I grabbed onto another one I could a quiet yet noticeable snap.

"Eh?" I said as I looked backwards my fears becoming true. The kinetic force and energy carried over to the moss snapping it in half.

"Ah shit." I said matter of fact.

"GAAHHHH!!" I yelled out right before I plummeted to the entrance of the village. I could hear a few screams yells from the people nearby.

"Hello..." I said out weakly. Needless to say the ensuing soreness wasn't pretty.

So yeah this is a two parter for my near non-existent audience.
