Author's Final Words

First of all, thank you for reading The Legend of the North. As you may have noticed, the book has an open ending and the story, of course, continues. The Legend began as a hobby on this page and was left unfinished as a list of images containing words. It was during the pandemic, thanks to the comments and people who took the trouble to write me personally, that I decided to "professionalize" the story and publish it on Amazon.

I am more than aware of the grammatical errors that were generated in the translation from Spanish to English. I can only ask for forgiveness and say thank you, thank you for reading in spite of everything. This is the limit that technology and my skills allow me to reach, in the future I will make sure to get a better translation.

Of course I'm looking forward to continue with a new book of The Legend, but the story that follows is very long and, therefore, the time it would take me to complete it is too (and I don't think about shortening it either, it would be a sacrilege for me). That's why I decided to start a new Science Fiction story with the mentality of taking it to a book from the very beginning, pouring everything I've learned so far. Without a doubt I plan to finish what I started and love so much, The Legend of the North.

The sale of the book on Amazon reached unthinkable levels... TOP 10 in the dark fantasy category (although only for a few hours, in Spain). Clearly this gives me a sign that I'm on the right track and that, actually, maybe, maybe... (allow me the arrogance) I have a talent for writing. Those of you who can support me through Amazon are always welcome, and those of you who can't, your reading is more than enough.

In conclusion, I want to say something that is perhaps the most important thing in all of this. It was you, both in this and the previous version of the book, who pushed me to get to a point where it was unthinkable for me in the past. The idea of transforming my hobby into something more was thanks to all of you. Keep in mind that a few simple words written on the internet can drastically change your future, or in a more poetic way, your destiny.
