A few minutes after the wedding the party, plus Smaug's father in-law, are in a meeting room with Sena talking to them.

"Satou Kazuma!" Sena yells. "When we looked into the source of the monsters all around the town, we found them to be coming from the Keele Dungeon that you entered the other day!"

"You can't just blame everything on us. Kazuma states. "I'll ask, just in case." Kazuma turns to his party. "You guys don't know anything about this, right?"

Megumin is holding Chomusuke. "it means nothing to me, unless it has something to do with explosion magic."

"Same goes for me." Darkness states. "I haven't done anything likely to cause a problem."

Kazuma turns to Smaug, only to see her staring down at the diamond ring on her left hand.

Smaug is lost in thought. 'I'm married. In my last life I never thought I'd be married so young, I'm like twenty! Honestly this feels like a crappy Wattpad isekai novel with an author that doesn't know how to properly write harem shit or romance stuff. But take that you nerds that read that stuff, I'm fucking married! You can eat my thick, curved ass!'

Kazuma raises an eyebrow as Smaug gains a shit eating grin and he turns to Aqua. "And you?"

Aqua puts her hands on her hips. "Of course not! You're doubting me way too much! If anything, there should be fewer monsters in that dungeon because of me!"

'"Because of me"?' Kazuma questions in his head. "Get over here." He drags Aqua off to the side. "Keep talking."

Aqua smiles. "Well, y'see..."

"Uh-huh."

"The magic circle I drew in that lich's room was super serious effort!"

"Yeah?" Kazuma asks.

Aqua continues. "It should still be intact, with any evil entities being unable to approach it."

"What did you just say?"

"Wh-What's the big deal? It's like I just said." Aqua says in confusion. "The magic circle I put my best effort into should be keeping monsters away from--"

Kazuma interrupts her by yelling. "You idiot!"

'I wonder if Smaug in the Dragon Maid fanfic got married to anyone?' Smaug asks in thought. 'Man, I wish I got to the second book, everyone said the second one was better cause it had much more content.'

Later that night the group is walking though a forest towards Keele's dungeon.

Aqua has a bump on her head. Smaug and Darkness are walking, hand in hand. Megumin is walking next to Smaug. Kazuma has Chomusuke on his head as he walks in front of the party.

Aqua cries."It shouldn't be my fault..."

Kazuma looks back to her and points. "It's like this every time. Do you have some disease where you'll freak out if you don't negate every contribution you make?"

Flashback

Kazuma is talking to Sena after just hitting Aqua on the head, with Smaug is laughing at Aqua. "The monsters aside, we can't just stand by if the townsfolk are in trouble. Please let us help."

Flashback over.

"It can't be my fault..." Aqua cries.

"I managed to get her off our case, but if we don't erase that magic circle..." Kazuma starts.

The party arrives at the dungeon, with Sena and a group of adventurers just a few meters away. They watch as small dolls with face masks walk out of the dungeon.

"I see." Kazuma says. "Yeah, those are some strange monsters."

"Satou-san." Sena calls out.

"Satou here." Kazuma looks at Sena.

"I appreciate your cooperation." Sena looks to the dolls coming out of the dungeon. "It seems like someone must be summoning these monsters..." She hands Kazuma a talisman. "So please defeat the spell caster, and place this on the summoning circle."

Kazuma grabs the talisman and Sena continues talking. "IT's a powerful sealing talisman."

Aqua and Smaug are both kneeling a few meters away from a doll.

"Something about the mask on those dolls disgust me on an instinctive level." 

"I'm hungry." Smaug randomly says.

Aqua picks up a rock. "I wonder what it is... It's seriously ticking me off." Aqua stands up and she gets ready to throw the rock.

The doll notices the two and begins to walk towards them.

"Huh?" Wha..." Aqua lowers her hand as Smaug stands up. "Wh-What?" The doll hugs Aqua's leg. "Wait... Huh? What is this? Does it want attention?"

Smaug grabs the doll off Aqua's leg and holds it up. "It kinda disturbs me when I look at this doll." The doll reaches its arms out to Smaug. "Eh." Smaug then throws the doll into her mouth and swallows.

"Why did you eat it?!" Aqua cries out. "It could be deadly."

"It tastes like dirt."

Kazuma grows confused. "How do you know what dirt tastes like."

Smaug puts a finger up to her lips. "Don't ask questions."

A muffled boom goes off in Smaug's stomach and it inflates a little before it goes back to flat. Smaug lets out a cough as smoke comes from her mouth. Her eyes grow wide as her dragon pupils shrink 

"The monsters have a tendency to grab someone and then explode." Sena explains.

Smaug falls to her knees as she slumps over and groans, and face-plants the ground.

"Are you okay, dearest?" Darkness leans down to Smaug.

"Are you okay, Smaug?" Megumin calls out.

Smaug hugs her stomach. "I have a tummy ache." Darkness sweat drops and rubs Smaug's back. 

"I see." Kazuma says.

Darkness, much to Smaug's dismay, stands up and walks towards the dungeon's entrance. A doll jumps onto Darkness and explodes, causing everyone to gasp. The smoke clears and Darkness is completely fine.

"Right." Darkness looks back to the group. "I'll take the lead to clear the way. Kazuma, stay behind me."

"R-Right."

Megumin tugs on Kazuma's shirt. "Kazuma, Kazuma." He turns to her. "I'll just get in the way, so I'll wait out here..."

"Then I'll join you." Aqua says.

"Hey, you're coming with us!" Kazuma shouts.

Aqua falls back and hugs herself as her eyes glow. "No! I've had enough of dungeons! If I go in, I'll be left behind again!" She shakes. "No dungeons... No..."

"Smaug?" Kazuma asks and Smaug groans in response, but her tail gives a thumbs up. "I guess it's just me, Smaug, and Darkness, then."

"Just us three?" Darkness asks. "You Kazuma, seems like a greater danger than the monsters... Along, with Smaug." She blushes.

Kazuma gains a dark look. "I could just leave you in the dungeon, so you can experience the same trauma as Aqua."

"Someone's gonna have to carry me." Smaug groans.

Exploration Quest

Investigate the Strange Activity in Keele's Dungeon

Darkness, Kazuma, who is carrying Smaug, and a few adventurers walk down into the dungeon. Smaug has her eyes closed and a look of uncomfort is on her face.

Darkness is swigging her sword at the dolls and she's actually hitting them.

Darkness laughs. "I can hit them!" She hits a couple more dolls. "I can actually hit them!" She turns back to Smaug and Kazuma. "Smaug look! I can actually hit them with my sword!"

"I'm glad for you." Smaug says with a groan. 

"Maybe you shouldn't eat random dolls you find next time." Kazuma deadpans. 

"I haven't eaten since we cleared the dungeon a few days ago." 

"Hey, wait up!" An adventurer calls out. "Can we slow down a---" A doll jumps onto him and he yells. "It got me! Somebody get this thing off me!"

Another adventurer swings his sword in panic as dolls approach him and a couple others. "No! Stay back!"

The dolls start exploding on and around the adventurers. 

Kazuma turns to Darkness. "Now, Darkness! Let's get moving!"

Darkness thrusts her sword into the air. "Leave it to me!" She turns around and takes the charge while taking out dolls. "What is this sense of fulfillment?! It feels like I'm doing my duty as a crusader correctly for the first time!"

"I'm not fucking doing this!" Sylvester says. "Now who has a cigarette I can borrow!"

The three are deeper within the dungeon and they've abandoned the other adventurers. Smaug is still being carried by Kazuma.

Kazuma and Darkness peer around the corner. Smaug still has her eyes closed.

"What's his deal?" Kazuma questions. 

There's a man sitting on some dirt and he's making a doll.

"It seems pretty clear that he's the master of those dolls." Kazuma observes and Darkness suddenly runs out from around the corner. "Wha--- Hey!"

Darkness stops in front of the man. "You're the one behind this?" She points her sword at the man.

The man looks up as Kazuma reaches Darkness.

Kazuma drops Smaug on the ground and she hits her head. "Ow!"

"I didn't expect you to make it this far." The man says as he stands up. 

"Welcome to my dungeon, adventurers!" The man greets. "I am the root of this evil, the source of your problems!" He bows his head, the doll he made mimics all his actions. "A commander in the Devil King's army, and a duke of hell who leads an army of demons... The archdemon whose sight pierces all in this world... I am Vanir."

Smaug groans. 'I'm hungry, but my stomach hurts!'

"Hey, we need to run!" Kazuma shouts to his two party members.

Darkness gets into a combat stance. "A servant of the goddess Eris, I cannot flee in the face of a demon!"

"You'd challenge me, Vanir-san, who is rumored to be even more powerful than the Devil King?" Vanir asks. "Well, just calm yourselves. I may be one of the Devil King's commanders, but all I do is maintain the barrier around his castle. A commander in name only, if you will. I was asked by the Devil King to looks into what became of Verdia."

'We turned him into a football!' Smaug snickers to herself, then she hugs her stomach. 'Reminder to myself, don't eat stuff that explodes.'

Vanir continues. "While I was in Axel, I decided to drop in on the knucklehead shopkeeper who seems to have a strange talent for losing more money the harder she works."

'Is he bad talking my woman!' Smaug thinks in anger.

Vanir brings a hand up to his mask. "I am what is commonly know as a demonkin..." He points towards the party. "And the greatest sustenance for demons is the dark emotions you humans are so ashamed of!"

Vanir continues. "With the birth of every new human, I run about the garden in joy!"

"Yet these dolls keep marching out of this dungeon, giving us humans a pretty hard time!" Kazuma states.

"I'm not a human!" Smaug softly mutters to herself as she rolls onto her side.

"Truly?" Vanir asks Kazuma. "I had intended to use them to clear this dungeon of monsters..." He puts a hand on his chin. "If they've made their way outside, there must be no monsters left." He aims his hand at the doll. "In that case..." The doll dissolves. "On to my next plan, I suppose."

"What are you after?!" Kazuma asks.

"How rude, coming from the man who loafed around his room like a bear, just because he was anxious about the armor girl's late return home."

Kazuma points at Vanir. "Hey, cut that out! How can you say that like you were there?!" Darkness blushes and fidgets. "And quit fidgeting, you!"

"You see, I have a rather sublime death wish." Vanir explains. "First, I obtain a dungeon. Then I station demons in each room and set up traps. A group of skilled adventurers rises to the challenge!  After overcoming taxing trials, the brave adventurers make their way to the innermost chamber! And of course, I am there to greet them! 'You've done well to make it this far, adventurers! Now, defeat me, and obtain incredible riches!'" Vanri starts to glow purple and Smaug sits up as she hugs her stomach. "The final battle begins, at last! And after a climatic confrontation, they find a sealed treasure box beyond my beaten body! And when those adventurers, who have endured so much, open it... They find a piece of paper that says, 'You lose.' I watch as they are stunned to find it there..." He stops glowing and looks up to the ceiling and holds his arms out. "That's how I wish to die."

Kazuma has his jaw slightly dropped as Darkness sweat drops. 

"I like this guy." Smaug smiles.

Vanir continues. "In order to make this plan a reality, I was going to use a friend's store to save up money to pay for the construction of a massive dungeon... But I was passing by this place, and since it seemed uninhabited, I figured it may as well be this dungeon." He motions to the wall behind him. On the other side is the Lich's room. "But there's a truly vexing magic circle beyond this room. I can't even enter the chamber."

Kazuma thinks back on Aqua. 'Her again."

"Oh, it was one of your comrades who drew the magic circle?" He then holds up his hands and forms a box with his fingers. "Well, well..."

"Let's take a look." Vanir says and he casts some kind of magic. Then he laughs. "Remarkable! The priest comrade of your created this irritating magic circle! I can see it... I see it quite clearly. I can see the priest enjoying some tea as she lazes around!" He points to Darkness. "And you, girl! You lost your bet to this man, and have been overwhelmed with curiosity about what he will demand of you, to the point that you're squirming in anticipation!"

"I am not overwhelmed or squirming!" Darkness yells out. "Don't blurt stuff like that out! Don't!"

Vanir then points to Kazuma. "And you, the man who's nervous about what exactly to demand of this girl once this matter is settled!"

"I... I am not nervous!" Kazuma yells. "I-I'm totally not!"

Vanir points to Smaug. "And you dragon girl thing, are worried about... what's for dinner?"

"Yeah, I'm really hungry." Her stomach rumbles and it also makes a few unpleasant noises. "Oh, that doesn't feel good." She falls onto her side as she holds her stomach.

Vanir just blinks a few times then he throws his arm out. "Why don't you three step aside? After all, I have an iron-clad rule about not killing humans. Yes, I won't kill humans. Not humans. But the one who made this nuisance of a magical circle is going to pay dearly for it!"

'He knows Aqua's identity?!' Kazuma questions in thought.

"If you're threatening Aqua, then I cannot stand down!" Darkness gets into a combat position. 

"It seems your head is as hard as your muscles, girl!" Vanir says. "If you leave right now, I'm sure you can enjoy the crazy demands you're excerpting, with no interruptions!"

Darkness blushes.

"Don't listen to him!" Smaug shouts. "He's a demon, so don't trust him! Listen to your wife! Don't let him lead you astray!"

Darkness blushes as she looks down at Smaug. "I-I'm not being led anywhere! You're the one who needs to consider the time and place, Smaug!"

Smaug gains a small blush. "I was totally thinking about that kind of stuff!"

"Enough of this!" Darkness yells at Vanir. "Hearing you talk feels like it's driving me crazy!" She lunges forward and swings her sword at Vanir and he just side steps the attack. 

Vanir laughs. "Then why don't you and your wife take a break in that room with the magic circle before heading home?" He points to the lich's room.

Smaug stands up and shakes her fist in anger. "I would love too, but now's not the time!" She notices Kazuma is blushing. "And why are you blushing?!"  

Smaug stomach rumbles and her face turns green and she brings a hand up to her mouth.

"Get a grip you two!" Darkness shouts.

Smaug leans against a wall as she pukes up what kinda looks like lava. 

Kazuma shakes his head. "She may look great and have the kind of body I prefer, but she's still Darkness! I need to snap out of it!" Snaug's tail tries to grab him by the throat. but he's just out of range.

"Wh-When we get back, I'll make you regret this!" Darkness says to Kazuma. 

Darkness engages Vanir and tries to strike him many times, but he dodges them all and laughs. "For all your fire, your attacks don't seem to be landing!"

Smaug stops puking and she stumbles off the wall and wipes some "Lava" off her mouth. "Alright, I'm all fired up!" He stomach rumbles. "I'm all fired down!" She crumbles to the floor. 

Vanir notices that Kazuma's missing. "Where did that sneaky-looking lad go?" Kazuma's currently hiding behind a little pillar. "Someone like him is likely to be more of a threat than a muscle-brained crusader. The biggest threat is the Dragon Slayer, but she took herself out."

"When I get up, oh, you'll have hell to pay." Smaug holds her stomach. "I might need a doctor."

"What are you looking for?!" Darkness asks and she charges at Vanir. "I'm the one you're fighting!" She swings her sword and Vanir back steps the attack, laughing. 

"Nice try!" Vanir says.

Kazuma then runs out from behind a pillar, with his sword ready. He goes to stab Vanir in the back, but he trips on a piece of rubble and goes crashing into his back.

Darkness swings her sword and manages to hit Vanir, with the "Help" of Kazuma.

"It can't be." Vanir says and he dissolves into dirt. "I've been defeated here?" His mask rests on top of the dirt.

"That seemed too easy, is there a second phase?" Smaug calls out.

"Did I finishing him?" Darkness asks.

Kazuma gets up. "Damn it, why was that thing lying on the floor?"

Smaug gets up and she burps. "Oh, now I feel better, just a little."

"Did we really get him?"

"And just as you're getting your hopes up, you lose!" Vanir's mask flies towards Darkness, but she gets pushes out of the way by Smaug and the mask flues onto her face.

Smaug yells out as she leans back and the eyes of the mask glow red.

"Did you think the crusader struck me down?" Vanir asks.

Smaug growls as she holds her face and stumbles around.

"Smaug?!" Darkness calls out in worry.

"How unfortunate!" Vanir says. "I'm not even hurt. Oh, my... The dark emotions from you three... They are truly delicious!"

Smaug yells out in pain.

"Smaug!" Kazuma yells.

"Smaugy!" Darkness yells.

The red glow dies down and Smaug slumps forward a little and stands still.

Kazuma gasps. "Smaug? Hey! Answer me!"

Suddenly Vanir laughs, as he's taken control of Smaug's body. "Boy, listen well! With my power--"

"Oh my me!" Smaug yells as she takes control of her body, well just her voice. "This is strange!"

Darkness scratches her cheek. "Huh?"

"Well, you two? If you think you can attack this girl..." Vanir says as he takes back control. 

"I mean, it probably wouldn't hurt. Well, maybe Darkness' attack would, but Kazuma is kinda weak." Smaug says. "Hey, can we get something to eat?"

"Shut up, you!" Vanir shouts. "What is your deal?!"

Kazuma just deadpans as Vanir and Smaug talk using the same body. Darkness is just confused.

"Tell me Smaug, does it feel good being used without your control?!" Darkness asks with a blush on her face.

Smaug backs up as she looks at her hands, but Vanir speaks. "Impossible... What is this---"

"Weird." Smaug replies to Darknes.

"..Girl?!" Vanir finishes. "How tough must her mind be?!"

"She's a very strong Dragon Slayer." Smaug says.

"Oh, pipe down!" Vanir takes a couple of couple breaths. "To be able to resist my control... You are most impressive, girl."

Smaug blushes. "Aw, thanks for the compliment." Her tail sweat drops.

"She's so lucky!" Darkness whines.

"However, the more you endure it, the sooner you'll be wracked with unbearable pain!" Vanir explains.

"Huh?" Smaug questions.

"So lucky!" Darkness whines as Kazuma is still deadpanning at the scene.

Vanir laughs. "Now, long can you endure it?" Then Smaug looks down at her hands. "What is this? Is she feeling excitement?" 

"I bet I can take it all on!" Smaug says. "I'm a damn tough girl!"

...

"Konosuba!" Vanir and Smaug says.

Darkness and Kazuma are in the lich's room, wiping up the magic circle. 

"Oh, how I envy Smaug." Darkness sighs and Kazuma gives her the side eye.

"I'm damn tough, so bring it on!" Smaug yells.

"Such noble determination!" Vanir says. "But resist much longer, and your mind may be destroyed. Woman, are you actually enjoying this situation?"

"It's giving me a challenge!" Smaug laughs.

A few minutes later Darkness and Kazuma finish cleaning and they head out of the room.

"Okay, Smaug, let's join Aqua and get the hell out of here." Kazuma says.

Suddenly a glaive is pointed at Darkness and Kazuma. "Not another step, you two." Vanir orders and Darkness blushes.

"Kazuma, Darkness, just go ahead without me." Smaug says.

"Don't expect things to be that easy--"

"I'm really darn hungry." Smaug interrupts. 

"You don't want to harm this girl that you find attractive, do you? And you don't want to hurt your wife?" Vanir asks.

"Please don't tell me that's true, Kazuma." Smaug begs. 

"If she continues to resist my power---"

"Can you get to the point?"

"Shut up!" Vanir yells and he swings the glaive to the side. Kauzma deadpan as Darkness blushes. "This body was a mistake..."

"Hey! I'm not a mistake!" Smaug yells. "That's very mean!"

"Oh, enough! I'm leaving." Kazuma puts the talisman on the mask. 

"Oh, we can't have that." Kazuma says.

Smaug reaches up to the talisman and tries to touch it, but her finger get repeld. "What is this talisman?" Vanir asks.

"Wait a minute..." Smaug starts. "Isn't this..."

"The sealin talisman Sena gave me." Kazuma says. "We'll head outside and gave Aqua purify you."

"Wha--" Smaug and Vanir say together. 

"We'll save you, Smaug!" Darkness says.

Smaug is running through the halls of the dungeon, with Darkness and Kazuma at her sides.

"Boy, girl. this woman's resistance to my power leaves her body in constant surging pain!" Vanir says.

"Lucky!" Darkness moans. 

Vanir continues. "At this rate, her mind will be broken!"

"I mean, my stomach ache felt worse and I got crushed by a train before, so..." Smaug says. "And I feel like a teenager with ragging hormones, except those hormones are multiplied by like 100. Stupid dragon body."

"Hang in there!" Kazuma says. "Once we get to the surface, we'll make you feel better!"

"Why does Aqua have to do it?"

A few minutes later.

"Wow, you're really hanging in there, Smaug!" Darkness says in awe.

Smaug doesn't reply.

"Smaug?" Kazuma calls out.

Vanir laughs. "My domination is complete!"

"Oh, no!"

"Hey, give me my wife back!" Darkness shouts in anger.

Vanir laughs and runs ahead of the two as they near the entrance of the dungeon. "Now to give that priest of yours something she'll never see coming!" Her eyes glow red.

"Smaug, snap out of it!" Kazuma yells.

"Come Smaugy!" Darkness yells.

"It's no use, you two!" Vanir yells back. "Now, it's time for a heart-warming reunion after having safely left the dungeon!" She holds her glaive out. "MY loathsome nemesis... It's time to see how you will deal with your friend's body, now that I have control--" Smaug runs out of the entrance.

"Sacred Exorcism!" Aqua casts onto Smaug as she exits the dungeon.

Smaug and Vanir yell in pain as the spell is casted onto them. After a few seconds the spell dies down.

"S-Smaug!" Kazuma yells.

"That looked painful." Darkness blushes and rubs her thighs together. 

Kazuma points at Aqua as Smaug is kneeling on the ground, body scorched. "Hey, don't just blast someone with magic out of the blue!"

"Well, I felt an evil presence coming, so I took a shot at it." Aqua shrugs her shoulders.

Kazuma points to Smaug. "One of the Devil King's commander's has taken over Smaug's body!"

Smaug shakily starts to get up.

"O-One of the Devil King's commanders?!" Aqua covers her nose. "Ew! What the--- Ugh! This is definitely the stench that comes from demons! Smaug, you're so stanky!"

"Smaug?" Megumin calls out.

Smaug stands up and Vanir laughs. "First, I supposed I should introduce myself, to this priest who shares a name with the infamous, obnoxious water goddess! I am--" She aims her glaive at Aqua.

Smaug suddenly interrupts. "What are you talking about, Aqua! I smell like molten gold and fire, not stinky!"

"I am Vani--"

"Darkness, I smell nice, don't I?" Smaug asks.

"Would you shut it?!" Vanir yells and he takes a couple deep breaths. "I am Vanir... To unleash anti-demon magic at first sight... This is why everyone hates the members of the Axis cult. Have you never heard of etiquette?!"

"Wow, we've got a demon talking about etiquette over here!" Aqua sarcastically calls out. "Aren't you just a parasite who'd fade away without dark human emotions?" She smugly laughs and Smaug/Vanir just stares at her. "Sacred Highness Exorcism!"

Aqua casts the spell and it flies towards Smaug, but she jumps out of the way.

"Nice try!" Smaug yells.

The spell almost hits Darkness and Kazuma.

"Watch it!" Kazuma yells.

"Don't be careful!" Darkness yells. "Be reckless with your aim!" She blushes a little.

"Hey, Smaug, why are you dodging?!" Aqua asks. "Stand still."

"Easier said then done!" Smaug shouts.

"It's not fair." Megumin says. "I want one of those masks, too! It appeals directly to my Crimson Demon sense of values!"

"Are you stupid?!" Kazuma shouts. "The mask is his main body!"

"It does match the description of the all-seeing demon from a wanted poster!" Sena informs and she looks back to the adventurers behind her. "Everyone, apprehend him!"

"Yes, Ma'am." The adventurers moves towards Smaug.

Vanir laughs. "I have discovered whee the power is stored in this body."

"Really?" Smaug asks as she back steps an attack from a sword.

"Yes! These!" Vanir grabs Smaug's massive breasts and everyone just stops.

"What?"

"Yes! The power is stored withing the breasts of this body, that's why there so big!"

"This is harassment!" Smaug shouts.

"What?! No it's not!" Vanir defends.

"Yes, you touch me without my consent!"

"No I don't! I'm the one stealing your body!"

The adventurers look at each other and shrug their arms. Then they go back to attacking Smaug/Vanir.

Vanir laughs as he uses Smaug's glaive to parry an attack, then he ducks under a sword.

"Come on, Smaug, stand still!" Aqua calls out. "Do you want to be saved or not?!"

An adventurer pulls his sword out. "I never thought Smaug was this tough..."

Another adventurer pops up next to him.  "I can't hit her! She deflects with her glaive like we're nothing! I thought she was a magic caster, not a swordsman, or glaiveman."

Smaug twirls her glaive around and slams the pole into the ground. "This body is quite functional. It's very strong and has a lot of stamina. Not only that, bit it has excellent resistance against the pesky magic of gods."

"Damn, this is not how I wanted my day to end." Smaug says. "Got married like two hours ago, now I'm being taken over by a demon."

Vanir laughs. "And there's a powerful magic I want to try!" Smaug opens her mouth and a pinkish fire ball forms and Smaug's breasts glow like they're covered in flames.

"Wait, don't use that one!" Smaug yells. "It'll kill everyone in the area."

Smaug stops the magic. "Oh, darn. It seemed like such a cool attack." Vanir says and then Smaug points her glaive at the adventurers in front of her. "Then, keep it coming, you pitiful adventuring clowns!"

A few adventurers surround her. "Smaug! You get married to a beautiful woman and now you're all high and mighty?!"

"I used to think you were the only cool member of Kazuma's party!" Another adventurer says.

"Surround her! Surround her! Let's surround this scrub of a Dragon Slayer." Another adventurer says.

"Aw man, people are not liking me now." Smaug's tail droops in sadness. "Wait a minute, Since when does the great Smaug care about some humans! I'm up for a good fight!"

"I sense happiness for some reason. What's going on here?" Vanir asks.

Megumin tugs on Kazuma's shirt.  "Please, do something!"

"Kazuma, save Smaug!" Darkness says.

Sena runs over to Kazuma. "Satou-san, aren't you going to help?!"

An adventurer falls down next to them.

"Kazuma!" Aqua yells and they look over to see Smaug has taken down all the other adventurers and now is walking towards Aqua, who has her back against a pillar. "Hey, I'm in trouble here!"

Tears form in Aqua's eyes. "Like, it might be the biggest trouble ever! Kazuma-san! Kazuma-san!" Tears stream down Aqua's face as Smaug approaches. "Kazuma-san!"

Kazuma growls. "Fine, damn it!" Kazuma runs in front of Aqua and points at Smaug. "Smaug, how can you let a demon whip you into controlling you. Have you always been such an easy woman?... Man.... Whatever!"

"It's no use!" Vanir states. "Your voice can't reach---"

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN WHIPPED?!" Smaug yells in anger. "I'M CONTROLLING HIM, HE'S NOT CONTROLLING ME AND I'M NOT AN EASY WOMAN!"

Smaug looks down at her hand. "Such an iron will..." Vanir says.

"I'm going to remove the seal on the mask!" Kazuma informs. "Then, even if it's just for a second, take control from Vanir, take the mask off, and throw it away!"

"How does someone as puny as you expect to remove the seal, when I'm close to drawing out the full potential of this girl's strength?"

"That is true." Smaug says. "No one can defeat me!"

Vanir laughs. "If you can overpower me..."

"...To take the sealing talisman..."

"...and remove it..."

"...Then I challenge you..."

"..to try it..."

"...if you dare!" Smaug finishes.

"Oh, shut up!" Vanir yells. "Don't steal my big line!" He takes a few deep breaths.

"Come on, Kazuma! Steal this thing already!" 

"Hey, don't tell him the plan!" Kazuma shouts.

Aqua stands up and smiles. "Kazuma, you've got me backing you up!"

"Handle this like a real hero!" Aqua finshes. 

"Hey, Smaug!" Kazuma calls out. "If you don't defeat the demon, I'll take your hidden Eris stash and use to to buy food for myself and only myself."

"I'll kill you if you touch my-" Smaug starts.

"Hey, don't let him anger you!" Vanir interrupts. "Boost your magic power so you can withstand his Steal."

"Smaug! Resist Vanir so that he can't move!" Kazuma calls out.

"Don't think some mere adventurer's Steal will work on me!"

Kazuma pulls his hand behind him. "Here we go!"

Vanir smiles. "Come on!"

Kazuma yells out and throws his hand in front of him. "Tinder!" He casts a small flame and it travels through the air and hits the talisman on the mask, burning it away.

Everyone is shocked.

Vanir then laughs.

"You know I'm Immune to most fire!" Smaug yells.

"You were actually able to deceive an all-seeing demon..." Vanir says.

"Come on, Smaug!" Kazuma shouts. "Show him what you've got!"

Smaug grunts and she tries to pull the mask off. "It's like superglued to my face!"

"What?!" 

"What now, Kazuma-san?!" Aqua asks. "Should I go ahead and fire?"

"No... even if you do, with Smaug's magic resistances..."

Smaug hums. "Do it." She says. "If the useless goddess' magic doesn't work, it doesn't matter." She looks over to Megumin. "Megumin's magic might be able to do it."

"I couldn't!" Megumin says. "My explosion magic has grown even more powerful, thanks to the experience I've gained! Even you might be..."

"I won't let you die, Smaug!" Darkness shouts out.

Smaug just turns around and starts to walk away from the group.

"Hey, Vanir..." Smaug says. "I honestly kinda had fun with the time we spent together. And I think you're kinda cool. So I'm offering you a choice: leave me and be purified, or be struck by explosion magic with me."

Vanir chuckles. "For an agent of destruction like myself, I couldn't ask for a sweeter offer. To think my death wish would play out like this..." Smaug stops walking. "My time possessing your body was quite enjoyable." Smaug turns back to the group and throws her arms out. "I am a demon! And I absolutely refuse to be purified by the gods I oppose!"

"Now, Megumin!" Smaug orders.

"But- but-!" Megumin face grows of sadness.

Kazuma walks up to Sena and puts a hand on her shoulder. "If this goes badly, I want you to act as a witness and confirm that this was on my orders. I'll take full responsibility for this, too."

"You better live through this, Smaug!" Darkness orders. "If you don't I'll have you brought back to life just so I can teach you a lesson."

Smaug suddenly blushes. "Yes, Ma'am!" She yells. "Wait a minute! Why am I blushing! I'm the dominant one!"

"Megumin!" Kazuma yells.

Megumin aims her staff towards Smaug. "The tower of rebellion creeps upon man's world..."

"The unspoken faith displayed before me..." Smaug looks down to the magic circle below her as Megumin chants. "The time has come! Now, awaken from your slumber, Strike forth, Explosion!"

At the adventurer's guild in the early morning.

"Adventurer, Satou Kazuma-dono!" Sena starts. "In addition to awarding you, and delivering this letter of appreciation from the town, I wish to offer my sincere apologies for the suspicions that were brought against you." Sena bows as she hands Kazuma a letter. 

Kazuma grab the letter. 'After the fight with Vanir, people didn't believe that someone connected to the Devil King's army would go so far to defeat one of its commanders. And so, the suspicions about me being a spy were cleared up. Not having to worry about being executed is a big relief."

"And next, Lady Dustiness Smaug." Sena starts.

Smaug is off to the side, wearing new adventure clothes. 

(You can pick of the two which Smaug wears, but I personally like the one on the right.)

Smaug fidgets. 'It's weird having a last name like that. Well, I can't really speak, my original last name was Greymare.' 

Sena continues. "The dedication you have shown in this incident was magnificent, and for your efforts, which lived to the honor of the Dustiness name, the royal family is presenting you with a letter of gratitude, and upon your request, we present Darkness with this armor from a first-rate craftsmen."

"Huh?" Darkness blinks a few times then looks to Smaug.

Smaug smiles. "Think of it as a wedding gift."

'After being hit with Megumin's explosion magic, Smaug was not to seriously hurt, but she was weakened, and her original adventure clothes were destroyed so she bought a new pair before coming here. Smaug was kinda pissed that she had to be healed by Aqua, but..."

The crowd cheers for Smaug.

"Congratulations, Smaug!"

"You did great, Smaug!"

"That's our Smaug!"

"Smaug! You're so cute, Smaug!"

Smaug blushes in embarrassment. "All this praise is making me embarrassed."

Suddenly Darkness brings Smaug into a big kiss and the crowd cheers more.

Darkness releases the kiss. "My gift for you will come later tonight." Smaug blushes more.

"Hey, Smaug." Aqua calls out. "Now that you're a noble can you use your noble money and buy us all drinks!"

"HAAAA?!" Smaug yells. "The fuck you think you are?!"

"Oh, come one, Smaug. Treat us!"

"I got blown up and you want me to buy you a drinks?!" Smaug asks and Aqua nods.

Sena interrupts. "Now, for the adventurer Satou Kazuma and his party... In addition to your valuable aid with the destruction of the Mobile Fortress Destroyer, the defeat of the Devil King commander, Vanir, would have been impossible without your contributions. Your debt, along with the cost of repairs to the lord's manor, will be subtracted from your reward. After factoring in your debts, you will receive 40 million Eris to celebrate your achievement!"

Everyone cheers.

Smaug yells in happiness. "YES! NO MORE DEBT! I'M GONNA DRINK ALL NIGHT AND PARTY HARD!" Smaug grabs Darkness and brings her into a kiss. "I love you so much!"
