Aliu and Selene quickly became friends, as they were both around the same age and shared an interest in magic. They spent hours discussing magical theories, practicing spells, and exploring the estate together. Aliu was relieved to have someone her age to talk to, and Selene was equally thrilled to have found a friend who shared her passion for magic.
As the days turned into weeks, Aliu found herself opening up to Selene more and more. She still kept her unique abilities a secret, but she felt comfortable sharing her thoughts and feelings about magic with her new friend. Selene, for her part, seemed genuinely interested in Aliu's opinions and ideas. It was a refreshing change from the formality and expectations that came with being a noble.
One day, as they were practicing water spells by the pond, Selene asked Aliu a question that had been on her mind for a while. "Aliu, have you ever thought about attending a magic academy?"
Aliu paused, considering the question. "I've heard of them, but I haven't given it much thought. My tutor provides me with a well-rounded education, so I never felt the need to consider it."
Selene nodded, understanding her friend's perspective. "I can see why you might feel that way, but I think you would benefit greatly from attending an academy. There, you would be able to learn from experienced instructors and be surrounded by fellow students who share your passion for magic. It's an environment that fosters growth and development."
Aliu mulled over Selene's words, intrigued by the idea. "That does sound appealing. I've always wanted to learn more about magic, and being in a place where everyone shares that interest would be amazing."
Selene smiled, pleased that Aliu was considering the idea. "I'm glad you think so. My father has connections with several prestigious academies, and he's been considering sending me to one when I turn thirteen. I think it would be wonderful if we could attend the same academy and continue learning together."
The thought of attending a magic academy with Selene was exciting, and Aliu couldn't help but feel a sense of anticipation. She had never considered the possibility before, but now that it was presented to her, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to expand her knowledge and understanding of magic.
"I'll talk to my parents about it," Aliu decided. "I think it's an excellent idea, and I would love to attend an academy with you."
Selene's eyes lit up with excitement. "That's great! I'm sure our parents can work something out. Just imagine all the things we'll learn and the adventures we'll have!"
The two girls spent the rest of the day discussing the possibilities that awaited them at a magic academy. Their excitement was infectious, and Aliu couldn't wait to share the idea with her parents.

That evening, Aliu approached her parents in their private sitting room. "Father, Mother, I have something I'd like to discuss with you," she began, her voice filled with determination.
Alucard and Sera exchanged a glance, curious about what their daughter wanted to talk about. "Of course, Aliu," Alucard said. "What's on your mind?"
Taking a deep breath, Aliu explained her conversation with Selene and the idea of attending a magic academy when she turned thirteen. She spoke passionately about the opportunities it would provide for her magical education and how much it would mean to her to attend with Selene.
Her parents listened attentively, their expressions thoughtful. When Aliu finished speaking, Sera was the first to respond. "It's clear that you've given this a lot of thought, Aliu. We want you to have the best education possible, and if attending a magic academy is what you truly desire, then we will support you."
Alucard nodded in agreement. "Selene's father is a trustworthy man, and if he believes that the academy is a suitable place for his daughter, then I have no doubt it would be an excellent environment for you as well. We will begin making the necessary arrangements for your enrollment."
Aliu's heart swelled with gratitude and excitement. "Thank you, Father, Mother! I promise I will make the most of this opportunity."
Her parents smiled warmly.
With her parents' support, Aliu looked forward to the future with excitement and anticipation. The prospect of attending a magic academy with Selene and delving deeper into the world of magic was a thrilling one, and she couldn't wait to see what new adventures and discoveries awaited them.

Aliu spent the following days eagerly anticipating her new life at the magic academy. She knew that she would be exposed to a wide variety of magical disciplines and techniques, and she couldn't help but think about the new skills and abilities she could create to aid her in her studies.
As she was about to head off to bed, she wondered about an idea that had been nagging at her for a long time. She wanted to create an ability that would let her create skills or abilities without having to wait for a year between each creation.
She knew it was risky, since she had tried something similar before and failed miserably. But she couldn't help but wonder if there was a way to bypass or reduce the restriction somehow.
With a determined glint in her eye, she focused her thoughts on the new ability she wanted to create. However, as she attempted to bring the ability into existence, she was met with a strange error message:
"Error: Unable to create skill/ability. Restriction cannot be bypassed. Reason: $?̷͓̄?̷̿̒?̵͑̑?̷̿̒#?̵͑̑%!^*"
Frustrated, Aliu tried again, but the same cryptic message appeared, the reason for her inability to create the skill remaining an indecipherable mess. It seemed that her creation ability had some limitations that she couldn't overcome, at least for now.
Disappointed but undeterred, Aliu decided to focus on creating a different skill instead. She thought about the various skills and abilities she had considered before and decided that Magical Detection would be the most useful for her upcoming life at the academy.
She reasoned that the ability to sense and identify magical energies, spells, and enchantments would be invaluable in her studies and in her interactions with other students and teachers. It could help her detect hidden threats, identify magical traps, or even locate powerful magical artifacts.
She closed her eyes and focused on creating the skill. She imagined a skill that would let her sense and analyze any form of magic within a certain range. She hoped that the skill would also provide her with some information about the nature and origin of the magic she detected.
Skill added: Magical Detection-
Aliu smiled. She had successfully created the skill she wanted. She decided to test it out by scanning her room for any traces of magic.
She activated the skill by thinking about it, and immediately felt a surge of awareness. She could sense various sources of magic in her room, such as the enchanted lamp on her bedside table, the protective charm on her window, and even the faint traces of magic left by Selene's visit earlier.
She was impressed by how detailed and accurate the information was. The skill not only told her what kind of magic each source was, but also who cast it, when it was cast, and what its purpose was. She could even tell if the magic was active or dormant.
Aliu felt a surge of excitement as she realized how useful this skill would be. She knew that this skill would serve her well at the academy and beyond, and she couldn't wait to put it to good use.
As the days passed, Aliu continued to practice her magic and refine her skills, eagerly awaiting the day when she and Selene would embark on their new adventure at the magic academy together.
Thanks for the new chapters. This is just my opinion so take the following comments with a grain of salt. I do like the story.
The chapters are kind of short. While that isn't a real problem in an of itself, it does feels like a lot of time has passed while we don't learn much about Aliu. It feels like were missing a lot of details. There are lots of things that could be written about. For example we know she like's chocolate cake but that's about it. Are there any other foods that she's fond of or hates? She could be a non picky eater or her food choices might affect her family in some way? Her mother could be exasperated at her dislike of certain vegetables while her father might think to himself how much she is just like him. Is there any friction at all with her parents or is she the perfect child (seems to be this way)? Minor stuff like do they think she spends too much time in the library and want her to be more physically active - would she hate that or not? As a noble she should be receiving etiquette lessons, does she hate them but like her teacher or vice versa? What do the maids think of her? What does she think of the maids? Are there any favorites? And why are they her favorites, maybe one dotes on her quite a bit. Just little stuff like that can breathe life into the story. How are her personal interactions with her parents? Do they feel she is too adult like and needs more interaction with children her age? Is that why she was introduced to Selene?
Thanks for the suggestions! I've been thinking about adding a chapter from the parent's point of view, which would help with this. Aliu's natural awareness as a child; she may have her memories, but that doesn't mean she can utilize them that well as a child, she just isn't as developed. Of course, she can still take inspiration from her memories and that is what makes her think more maturely while still keeping a sense similar to her age. I'm not sure if I'm explaining this very good .
As for why the chapters are short - that's simply me being bad with structure, and this affects things like me often not knowing when to end a conversation, when to add a time skip, when to add certain events, when to end a chapter, etc. This is something I can definitely improve on.
Some other things are to be addressed soon.
Also, does the story feel too fast? I originally intended for the first few chapters to just quickly go over her early childhood and the later chapters slowing down on the pace of the story. I'm considering if I should implement this slow down earlier now.
@Cyy No worries. Like I said they were only suggestions and I made them because of what you wrote at the end of the first chapter...you are a first time author looking for constructive feedback. I was trying to be helpful not critical. Yes it felt a little fast but apparently that was conscious decision. We can always get to know her better later when it slows down. The length of chapters doesn't matter too much (of course everyone wants more of what they like!). I only mentioned the brevity because of the fast pace.
If you insert an earlier chapter from the parents view point do let us know so we can go back to that chapter.
Time magic.
Also, congrats on your revival, I've been waiting.
Hope Mc will learn Teleportation magic or Portal magic.
