This chapter purely serves as a means to record changes to the chapters and perhaps even the story as a whole as time goes on, as well as when chapters have been added. If this chapter gets an update, something changed; minor or major. There hopefully won't be too many drastic changes, but it's something to note. If you dislike a change, please share your opinion in the chapter in question. I'm always open to feedback.

- - 7/29/2022, 8:45PM - Look at me, claiming it was the final draft. Sucks for you, I had an epiphany for where I wanted the story to go and changed the end bit. In all honesty, sorry, I just didn't like how it ended off. Please tell me if you liked the change or not in the comments of the chapter.
- - 8/31/2022, 1:19 AM - Third chapter took significantly longer, and it's rather late so more probably slipped through the cracks in the final draft. Sorry for the month's wait, a lot happened, and I need to get ready for school. I don't plan on letting the next chapter to take nearly as long, though. Enjoy the 17 pages I tried to proofread as extensively as I could.
- - 8/31/2022, 10:53 PM - Mix of major and minor changes to first chapter, moving synopsis prologue into the first chapter and changing the synopsis to something I'm rather satisfied with. Previous version was all the text before the first '~' in the Chapter 1. Please tell me if you liked the change in the comments, and any suggestions would be highly appreciated! Even if you don't think it's worth adding, your suggestions could give me inspiration.

I wanted to read this , until I read the part about missing memories, that is a deal breaker for me as a reader ,and ill explain why.
1. He isn't the person he was before arriving at the new world. Altering memories makes a completely new person. Making this neither an isekai or a a reincarnation/tranmisgration whatever. This is none of those simply because he isn't the person he was, this is a completely new being born in that world. The being he is currently never existed in any other world , even if the body did. So please update the tags accordingly.
2. Missing memories ,and trying to make a story about them is cliche and overdone. The suspense ,and mystery that comes from that is annoying and tedious as a reader. This does nothing to the story ,but hold it back.
Give me a true isekai and I'll give it a true chance.
Dude it's an Isekai. Both he and Rau we're transported to another world. You'll get the exposition on the missing memories later, it's almost a cliche but it's being done in an interesting way in my opinion; I've planned at least 10 chapters ahead.
@EngieBoy6000 not what I like in an isekai. I'd rather read about someone born there if the undercurrent of solving the missing memories is a part of the plot at all. The beauty of an isekai is using the knowledge and perspective the m.c has to gain advantage in unique and insightful ways. This is none of that. It takes everything that makes an isekai and intriguing concept and does away with it. That is also why I say the tags should be removed. At most even with the gaining of memories they are still not the person they were before.
@Chaddts ...do you think he lacks ALL his former memories? It's pretty clear he just doesn't remember his personal memories.
@EngieBoy6000 that's 100% of what determine the kind of person he was prior. If you lost all the good memories of your lover, and only kept the bad, would you still love them? Memories define a person, from abuse one may go through to loss that steels a man's resolve. These events shape a person into who they are. To do away with them means to do away with the person.
@Chaddts I appreciate the feedback but I wholly believe you'll be satisfied with how the question of his memories is resolved.
@EngieBoy6000 does it happen with 5 chapters? If there is any kind of drama or some long drawn out adventure to the memory issue I'm not going to invest my time into a this new person that exists without those memories. That's not the m.c I want.
