Author note*

I have edited some parts in chapter 9 and 10, you can go check if you want to. It is for mana, i have made it so elements like fire couldn't be manipulated into shapeforms. A little nerf if you say.

Some minutes ago, in the middle of the forest, there was a group of players, they were the group of players who took the ranking from 4th to 7th.

They were marching toward the deeper part of the forest, but when the announcement for an update of ranking was made, they all looked up at the ranking with anticipation and hints of excitement.

But what they were met with instead made them astounded and flabbergasted.

One of the players, who had long black hair, a relatively handsome face and muscular build, fell on his butt.

He was trembling all over, no from fear but from rage and frustration.

He staggeringly stood up, and gritted in utter disbelief and anger while wobbling his finger at the panel which showed the ranking of Mission.

"This can't be right. How could this be right? We clearly should have more Mission Points than anyone here.

How could they have more than 10,000 Mission Score, and what is with that absurd amount of Mission Score.

How could a normal human even have that much?

This can't be right! They must be cheating. Yeah! They must be cheating. Otherwise how could they have that much."

The player said furiously and unconvincingly through gritted teeth.

"Calm down, Sheff."

One of the girls in the group said with apparent incredulity.

She had long brown hair, hazel eyes, an average height with a well proportioned build, with a face that could be considered pretty.

She was Rei Ayanami who was ranked 7 in the ranking of Mission Score.

Ironically, she was telling the guy named Sheff to calm down when she was sweating muddled beyond belief.

She tried hard to collect and compose herself before mulling over it.

"They should be in a group of three.

They should be helping each other to get more Mission Score just like us.

However, it is impossible to get that much Mission Scores in a short period of time with just killing the monsters.

They have likely got their Mission Score from, either the hidden achievement for bloodline like we got, due to having a trace of High Human bloodline in us, which is still quite unlikely given how the system itself told us that we were the only ones with superior bloodline among all the players.

And on top that, one can't get that much amount just from that hidden achievement as we even only got 1,000 Mission Score.

The next probability being they have been granted a title or completed a hidden mission for killing monsters like Xiao and Kuro."

As Rei said with an incredulous voice, she glanced at the other two of their group;which only had 4 members in total.

The other two were a male and a female, the female one had a petite figure.

With wavy and long sky blue hair which reached and covered her curvy and well rounded bottom.

Her waist slim and slender, a beautiful and youthful, yet her beautiful sapphire eyes were dazed and a stupefied expression adorned her face.

The male one was not an exception, he also had disbelief written over his handsome face.

They all couldn't comprehend how the top ranked got that much score, but they still tried to.

Then, Sheff, the temperamental guy suddenly interfered in their thought process.

He said with confidence, "If what Rei said was true, then doesn't that mean they probably got their Mission Points from obtaining title or completing hidden achievement, not from killing monsters, right?

It could also be from some easter eggs, you know?

If that is indeed the case they should just be lucky and shouldn't have more stats and experience than us.

Come on, we are descendents of the mighty High Human and had their powerful blood.

Even on earth(not the earth where Azrael came from), we were respected and hailed as the Heroes descendants, not to mention we have trained in sword and other weapons since we were born.

They may or may not have much stats difference from us, but we are four and they are three, even if they have more in case, we can also get some help.

If you are not convinced with that, we can also ambush them.

If we kill, all their Mission Score would be divided between us."

Sheff said with confidence and self satisfaction from his supposedly brilliant plan.

The others thought about it for some time before nodding.

They were all tempted by the Mission Score they would obtain if they were successful.

Rei then said with some hesitation and wariness, " Even with these odds, we still should be carefull, it is not like we can't escape if things go out of hand."

All of them nodded at that, they remained silent for some time.

After some time, Sheff impatiently asked "Should we go now?"

All of them looked at each other , all of them understanding without explicitly having to tell, well…except Sheff.

----------------------------------

I am really sorry for not updating. it was just that i was extremely busy, only having some time to relax during night. all the busy and dull days finally finished yesterday. of course i had some time to update a chapter, but i couldn't bring myself to use the stock piled chapter when i had not written any chapters for 5 days straight. That is all. I seem to forgot something i had wanted to say. That is all.
