Not wasting any more time, you hurried towards the beach to forage for some resources. Hopefully, you could find some wood as well. You wanted to at least have a fire started before the night arrived.

As for food, well, one of the perks of being a Necromancer was that you didn't need to eat. So, you began searching for supplies. While you ventured around the sandy beach, one thing you noticed was that the skies were eerily quite and vacant. There weren't any birds in sight or sound!

Your gut instincts were telling you that something was wrong, but with the lack of information, you don't know what's going on. But you don't have time to think about it as the sun was setting soon.

After a short gathering, you managed to find one log of dried driftwood, eight blocks of rock, and three shells. You even managed to dug up ten bones. Bones were very important to you...to necromancers. There was a lingering death aura surrounding the bones as well as dwelling from within them.

Not only could the death aura be used to regenerate a necromancer's mana, they could also be used to create skeletal minions. For now, the ten bones weren't enough to make a minion, however, they could be used to replenish your lost mana.

You made your way back to the clearing where you decided to set up your base of operations. As you only managed to find one log of wood, you were unable to make a fire pit. Guess you have to brave through the cold and darkness...not that they affect you much or anything.

As for the shells, they're important in that they could be ground and formed into a primitive writing tool. With this, you would be able to create magic circles and magic arrays to further protect you and expand your base.

A fire would have been nice though. Although, as a necromancer, you constantly dealt with death and cold auras, however, you were still human if not partially. And as a human, the warmth of fire was a luxury to have. Not to mention, the fire provided some light once it got dark and it could also be used to fend off any animals while you recovered your mana.

You reached over to a bone and started absorbing its death aura. In a matter of seconds, the bone disintegrated while you felt that familiar feeling of mana coursing through your body.

Clenching and opening your fist, you closed your eyes and silently appraised yourself.

Name: Beixor Nightfall
Race: Half-Human, Half-???
Age: 29 (Post-Conversion)
Class: Necromancer
Inventory: <NONE>
Skills/Spells: Raise Skeletal Minion, Raise Zombie Minion
Unholy Bolt, Unholy Shield, Unholy Aura

Mana: 10/200

That should be about right. One bone could provide up to ten mana points depending on how long it's been exposed to death. With ten mana points, you could raise minions and use unholy shield. To use unholy bolt, you need fifteen mana points and to use unholy aura, you need twenty mana points.

As so, night passed without a hitch. You woke up from the light slumber and stood up to stretch your body before you ventured out to the beach to search for more supplies.

Maybe you were lucky yesterday, however, today, you only managed to dig up ten more bones. As for animals...not a single one in sight. Where could they have gone? Maybe this was a deserted island? But if that was the case, where did these bones come from?

While you pondered about this, you glanced at the bones piled up nearby. With nineteen bones, you could immediately recover to full mana. However, you wanted to save the bones in order to have enough to summon a skeletal minion. Nineteen bones down...thirty-one more to go.

Without the fear of animals attacking you at night due to the lack of them all day, you decided not to make a fire pit. You wanted to save enough wood to make a building...perhaps a storage or something. Other than a slight breeze, you didn't encounter any other disturbances.

Day three arrived with a bang. You noticed that the winds had gotten stronger since last night. You had a bad premonition. You glanced up into the skies and noticed a number of gray clouds converging towards a single point.

You couldn't help but gasp in shock! Tornado! Quickly, you grabbed what you could and distanced yourself as much as possible away from the tornado's path. You even spent two mana points to cast an Unholy Shield around you for extra protection.

The winds shook and roared, carrying away everything and leaving nothing in its wake. Although you managed to avert the disaster, whatever you couldn't carry were swept away into the waters. In your hands were only one log of wood, two blocks of rocks, three shells, and all nineteen bones.

Well, what could you expect? The bones were more important, especially when there's no animal in sight. No...animal...eureka! You now knew why there were no animals. They must have predicted the tornado and had escaped beforehand. Now that the natural disaster was over, the animals were sure to come back. You must be prepared when that happened.

You approached your base and sighed. The remaining blocks of rocks were all swept away. The day was almost over and you haven't scavenged for supplies yet. Luckily, the tornado uprooted some trees so you were able to quickly gather five logs of wood.

Day four went by quickly. All you managed to gather was a log of wood, a block of stone, and 10 more bones. Day five, you decided to explore the beach without focusing on gathering. Maybe you could find some clues as to where you comrades were or at least if there was a shipwreck nearby?

Still no sign of birds though...could there really be none in the first place?

However, all that changed on the next day. As you delved towards the edge of the beach, you came across a fresh corpse. The dead man was most likely drowned to death as there were no external wounds. Could he be from your ship?

You followed your eyes along the shore until suddenly, you spotted a ship! It had crashed into a nearby reef and was partially submerged in water. You know you couldn't swim. And even if you did, how will you defend yourself against who knows what in the waters below? You might need to come back next time. Making a mental note on the shipwreck's location, you headed back to the corpse.

You picked up the corpse and excitedly arrived at camp. With a fresh corpse, you could start making yourself a zombie minion. Expending eight mana points, you began to chant. You waved your hands up and down, left and right, and in clockwise to counterclockwise motions.

Black wisps of mana flowed from your fingertips and devoured the fresh corpse. The mana penetrated into the corpse and the corpse began to twitch. It was alive!

Exhausted and out of mana once more, you reached into your inventory and pulled out another bone to consume. After restoring ten mana points, you ordered the zombie to guard the perimeter while you rested.

Morning came and it had officially been a week since you were stranded on this unknown land. One thing that was different was that the forest was brimming with different types of animals, making it a bit cautious towards curious animals strolling into your base. The only resource you managed to find today was a log of wood.

As the day came to an end, you counted the resources you had gathered during the week. You had eight logs of wood, three blocks of rocks, three shells, and twenty-eight bones. You have no fire pit and one zombie minion to do your bidding.

What should you do for the following day?
