Austin always felt that there was something inside him that he never scratched off. Something inside him which was too frightening and audacious to discover.

First, he thought that it was the original Austin's soul or something related to his lineage which was not shown in manga that's why he never pried in that space.

With time he got busy with worldly affairs ever since he started partaking in adventurer works at the age of eight—through special permission—and also this Villain's system didn't help either.

Things happened and Austin never found the opportunity to think of that golden orb inside of him which even Luna was not able to discover even though she diagnosed him various times in the past.

Since he never thought of that mystery as a relevant component, Austin did never mention it either.

But today, a woman—strange in distinct ways—made him aware once again that Austin has yet to unravel the secrets he possesses since his birth.

"W-What the heck is this…?"

Currently, the witch had her left hand on Austin's chest after she called him near for a survey. Luna was reluctant to let the woman touch Austin but upon being pursued, Luna conceded.

She knew that the Witch had the might to obliterate each one of them in an instant. If Amanda wanted, she could've hurt Austin ever since he landed his feet on the floor. That was why Luna somehow convinced herself that this analysis that Amanda suggested was for Austin's good.

Saya was equally worried but with Luna's one comforting look which told her that she(Luna) could handle it if things went south, the raven-haired beauty also settled down. But never left her brother's side just like Luna.

As for Austin, then he was currently in a realm where nothing made sense.

As soon as the Witch forced her peculiar energy inside of him, Austin's eyes glowed with a strange golden hue before Austin found himself floating in darkness with nothing beneath or above him.

There was only a single visible thing radiating in a bright golden shade, some meters away from him. It was pulsating and was covered with thin veins-like lining around it.

Austin had an idea what it was since he had seen the gist of this thing a long time ago. But the problem was….why now. He was anxious to know how the system was responsible for limiting his strength when it was already far less when compared to Deities and Demons.

But it didn't make any sense when the Witch was making him see something he never found to flaunt, at the times when she should be explaining things.

'Wait…why am I being so impatient… '

The self-realization hit hard since Austin was feeling uneasy ever since Amanda sent him to survey his own body.

And the voice of the Witch made his doubt about his uneasiness clear.

"You are anxious since you have already guessed the reason for that thing's existence inside you. "

Austin was pulled back to reality as a gasp left his lips while his vision abruptly shifted to see the face of the Witch in front.

"Are you fine? Do you need water or anything?" (Luna)

Luna was transmitting a low-grade healing spell that would help lessen Austin's anxiety but nothing was working on him at the moment.

"Tell me what's that weird thing pulsating inside of me?"

Austin was no longer asking politely. It was the series of events weighing down his shoulders ever since he entered the labyrinth.

Amanda understood the reason for such behavior and she didn't have any complaints about it. She was impressed that Austin hadn't lashed at her even though he came to know how he has been played by God's ploy in his either lives.

"You have read a lot of novels in your last life, right? You have seen how an omnipotent being always grants a reincarnating protagonist with blessings or wishes. Well, then the golden orb or your 'Mana core' is just a gift from the being who was responsible for your transmigration."

No words were spoken further as Austin leaned back on his chair and registered Amanda's words slowly and carefully.

The period of his death and rebirth was done in a flash and he never was met with any being which every isekai manga or novel portrays.

Austin always thought that the memory of his past life was hefty enough to expect anything further.

He was in a fantasy world where he could grow exponentially if he worked hard. He never greed for more.

But after almost seventeen years of his rebirth, this woman has turned around a chapter of his book that Austin never was able to unfold.

…no doubt why he was feeling troubled about this whole dive in the labyrinth.

Amanda cleaned her glasses as she spoke further about the gift Austin possesses.

"Unlike others who borrow mana from their surroundings, you Austin, generate yours without the need for any external source. Even if the world's mana gets sucked right at this moment only you and I will be left alive in this room."

"Wait…why you?"

It was Saya who almost spontaneously raised the question. It was rather troubling for her to hear that she wouldn't be with her brother but this old witch could.

"It's because I don't have a single drop of mana baby girl."

Saya glared at the woman being called such but her focus was distributed on rather something else.

It indeed was troubling her and the other two as well, that Amanda had no mana presence at all. Even Luna was unable to track down the witch's identity of mana even though the latter used it quite a few times ever since they landed on this floor.

"Don't ask me how or why since we are focusing on Austin here, right?"

Saya instantly pursed her lips and restrained herself from asking anything further. Her brother held her first and foremost priority.

"You still didn't answer my first question."

With a small pause, Austin again asked the same thing he did after hearing the purpose of his system.

"Why was something built in the first place to restrict my powers? What is the true purpose of this system?"

Amanda gathered her focus on the blonde boy once again as she sighed and explained to him further.

"Every being has a limitation for how much they grow and those limitations are decided by the size of their mana vessels. The storage in which someone contains their mana temporarily and channels it according to their use. But you Austin… have no such limitation. You can grow your vessel with time and proper training and your mana core would discharge such energy to support your growth."

After a slight pause, she continued.

"The restrictor I provided with the system is the true purpose of its existence. It's just to not let you become overwhelmed by your own strengths and help you to keep your feet connected to the ground. Unlike deities or demons, you are not bound by anything nor do you have to rely on any source for your survival. You were destined to stand alone ever since. And that's why you don't have any boundaries."

Without meeting his gaze since the latter had leaned his face low, Amanda concluded her words.

"You, Austin Wright, are a limitless being who is destined to rise above them all."
