In an Unknown City somewhere in the world of Terra...

As the sunlight of the new dawn begins to rise, it brings forth a bright morning,

For most life on this world, the sunlight ray's bring calmness to the day with their light,

Filtering through the windows, through fences, and through the bird's flight,

Shining through someone's window with an intensity yet softness born from the light,

Streaming through the air with flowing currents that reflect just how bright the light is.

Sunlight raining down upon the land and the rivers that flow through the land,

It bringing forth knowledge of the land to eyes everywhere, from those in the forest to those on the sands,

The sunlight bringing energy to the plants on these lands in a grand display,

Flowing throughout the air as its reflected and refracted by the particles in an almost planned display.

Ignored by people by and large as they go about their lives in tranquil bliss,

Treated as such a common occurrence, that it is largely dismissed, as folk awaken to the light,

Described and declared as something to be taken for granted, something meant to be easy to miss,

Even the light that travels through the last rain to create the rainbow, is usually met with remiss.

As the light of day fades  begrudgingly into the pitch-black ash of the night,

The only light that remains, are the houses that dot the landscape with their bright yet clustered presences.

Spots of warmth from the unknown and strange night seep forward, with spotty and dim light found on cameras.

Some are found to be translucent with their fuzzy outlines of a light,

Others are completely transparent, with only a bright outline showing them on the view of the camera,

While the most monstrous appearing ones, most of all, appear opaque, no matter what light the camera uses.

Appears the Terrors of the Night are out stalking tonight.~
