Somewhere in the clouds on Eklipses...

Frozen and cold as they appeared and acting as if they were as hard as stone, stoic and determined,

Their surface, at first sight, would appear so soft and slush as it was almost pearl white,

But once one looks deeper and dug further the sensation was of cold stone, chunks of it laced about inside of it like a skeleton,

Its demeanor is strange and alien to any visitor, yet despite its inhumane state, its form would give fright only on a dim night,

Its duty is to chill the world below, undeterred by those who curse its actions that happen deep in the snow and the blizzards,

Indifferent to the world it affects with its work, as it is its duty to uphold the status quo stated by ancient text.

Actions it takes, far and above from gaze of mortal kin and their devices,

In the great clouds, it resides, as from within them it brings down snow, hail, and rain daily,

Which fall upon the land below in droves,

It continues commanding the ice and stone to become the familiar snow as all rules state it should go,

As it did its task, with the attitude of complete indifference for the life below and their struggles.

Though indifferent, its actions were nonetheless done with a cautious touch,

Snow falling softly from the height it should go, where it should go, and when it should go,

For its power dwelled within the clouds, bringing weather that mortals must surely brace for,

Though many unknowing and ignorant mortals may call it evil perhaps so, many know,

That evil was what it was not, as the deity and those in the know would proclaim with a crisp snap of cold  muffled hands,

Though it would not deny that mortals could call it "good"  either, as it molds ice and snow to adequate shapes.

All that it knows, is to manage that which is snow, rock, and weather for the world,

Amongst the work it manages, other deities would pop in on occasion, those it would call "friends",

With their aid and support that is freely given amongst each other, it has no fear to have its "head" on the chopping block,

Though surprising for an indifferent elemental to do that many mortals would think, it does know what it means to befriends those around.~

Idle Thoughts by, Pon, God of Blizzards, and Snow
